The author reviewed the toxicity and complications of tumor radiotherapy and chemotherapy from the aspects of etiology,pathogenesis and differential treatment of TCM

Objective:To explore the effect of Brain HQ visual training on memory function in lymphoma patients with chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment.Methods:From January to December 2019, 39 hospitalized patients in lymphoma department were selected as the research object, and divided into intervention group (19 cases) and control group (20 cases) by the order of admission. The control group was given routine nursing, and the intervention group was given Brain HQ visual training. The two groups of patients used the auditory learning test to evaluate the memory function effect at the time of enrollment, after 2 cycles and 4 cycles.Results:After 2 cycles intervention, there were no statistically significant indicators for immediate recall, short-term delayed recall, long-term delayed recall, re-recognition, and correct recall ( t values were 0.575-1.248, P> 0.05); After 4 cycles of chemotherapy, the three indicators of long-term delayed recall, recognition and correct recall of the intervention group were (6.00±1.59), (9.05±1.81), (36.00±4.27) points, while (4.75±1.55), (8.05±1.73), (32.85±3.59) points of the control group, there was a statistically significant difference in ( t values were 3.384, 2.373, 3.010, P < 0.05); repeated measures analysis of variance showed The total indicators of immediate recall, short-term delayed recall, long-term delayed recall, recognition and correct recall were not statistically significant in both groups ( F values were 0.329-1.462, P>0.05). Conclusion:The effect of Brain HQ visual training on memory function are not clear, but with the change of intervention time, memory indicators are constantly improving, Brain HQ visual training has certain practicability.

Forty-four guinea-pigs were sensitized by intramuscular inoculation with the same amount (0.8ml) of 5% egg albumin in water. 3 weeks after sensitization, the animals were rondomly divided into 1 groups (group J as control; group II given small dose of piperitone 0.08ml/ 100g body weight; group J given large dose of piperitone 0.12ml/100g body weight; group IX given promethazine 2.5mg 100g body weight) and subjected to anaphylactic insult by intra-cardiac injection of 1ml of 5% egg albumin in water under the protection of different dosege of piperitone, a terpene from cymbopogon distans. given intramuscularly. Results of the experiment indicates that piperitone had significant dose-effect relation protective effect against the anaphylactic insult on the guinea-pigs and suggests that piperitone might be used clinically for the treatment of asthma

Objective: To establish a HS CGC method for the analysis of residual petroleum ether (60～90?C) in Kanglaite Capsules.Methods: Headspace sampling, a fused silica analytical column with cross linked 95% dimethyl and 5% diphenyl siloxanes station phase (30m?320?m?0.25?m), column temperature at 40?C, a linear velocity of about 19 cm per second, FID detector.Results: The average recovery is 97.2% (RSD=2.87%, n=5). The minimal detection limit is 2.65?10 -8 g?mL -1 (signal/noise=1.3).Conclusion: The method is simple and accurate, and can be used as a control method for the residual organic solvent in the capsules.

Recent developments on separation and analysis of bacterial cells by capillary electrophoresis are reviewed. Based on bacterial surface characterization, capillary electrophoresis technique can be utilized for rapidly identify and quantify intact bacteria and microbes at a certain phase. The microbe-molecule interactions can also be described. The separation of microbes that can not be cultured in lab appears to be possible by this method. It makes profound effects on separation science and microbiology to establish capillary electrophoresis procedure for the separation and analysis of bacterial cells.

Chemotherapy plays an important role in advanced colorectal cancer. Patients may show various clinical response to selection different drugs. The importance of individual therapy based on pharmacogenomics has been emphasized in cancer therapy. To explore the individual therapy of colorectal cancer, the progress of molecular markers which influence the efficacy of anti-tumor drugs containing fluorouracil, oxaliplatin, CPT-11, monoclonal antibody drugs is reviewed in this article.

Objective To detect the expression of Id1 and p53 in human breast cancer and study their relationship. Methods To choose 80 cases of breast cancer from the surgical department of Tangshan people's hospital. All patients didn't get radiotherapy and chemotherapy before surgery. The expression of Idl and p53 of breast cancer were studied by using SABC immunohistochemistry. Results The expressions of Id1 were found in cytoplasm, while the expression of p53 was found in cell nucleus. The positive rates of Id1 and p53 were 87.5 %(70/80)and 90.0%(72/80) respectively in breast cancer tissues. The expression of Id1 and p53 were significantly higher in breast cancer tissue than those in adjacent non-tumor breast tissues,benign tumor tissues and normal breast tissues(P ＜0.05). The positive rates and expression intensity of Id1 in breast cancer had significant correlation with lymph node metastasis and pTNM stage of the tumor, but had no significant correlation with age, histological differentiation and tumor size. The positive rates and expression intensity of p53 in breast cancer had significant correlation with lymph node metastasis of the tumor, but had no significant correlation with age, histological differentiation,tumor size and pTNM stage. Conclusion Expression of Id1 in human breast cancer is up-regulated. Its expression is associated with lymph node metastasis and TNM stage and represents an independent marker for prognosis of breast cancer. To reduce the expression of Id1 will become the strategy of curing breast cancer. Expression of Id1 and p53 in human breast cancer have the same clinic significance. Each of them can represent an independent marker for prognosis of breast cancer.

Thalassemia is inherited hemolytic anemia caused by globin production disorder,clinically known as beta thalassemia and alpha thalassemia resulted from beta and alpha chain synthesis disorder.Significant anemic clinical manifestations are observed in intermediate -level and severe -level patients with the 2 types of anemia, affecting greatly the growth and life quality of children patients who need blood transfusion to stay alive.The incidence rate of thalassemia is as high as 7% -20% in South China,so the prevention and standaridized treatment of thalasse-mia and the management over target population draw more attention.This paper is a review on the latest development of blood transfusion,chelation therapy,health education,birth intervention for thalassemia.

Objective To analyze the effect of Kangfuxin Liquidon on gingiva groove liquid interleukin 1β(IL-1β), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), soluble adhesion molecule-1 (sICAM)in fixed orthodontic patients with gingivitis. Methods 96 cases of patients with fixed orthodontic gingivitis consult the draw method were divided into control group and experimental group, 48 cases in each group. The control group were treatedby gums clean, experimental group based on the control group were treattedby Kangfuxin Liquidon. The IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM-1 levels, periodontal status, the grade of swelling and pain, the clinical curative effect were compared between two groups. Results After treatment, the IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM levels of experimental group were lower than the control group (10.54±1.41) ng/L vs.(11.85±1.71)ng/L, (284.62±35.21) ng/L vs.(314.65±39.48)ng/L, (150.49±18.11) μg/L vs.(162.83±20.26) μg/L,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The periodontal status, swelling and pain grading ofexperimental group were better than control group (P<0.05). Theeffective rate of experimental group was higher than the control group (95.83%vs.79.17%) (P<0.05). Conclusion Kangfuxin Liquidon can reduce fixed orthodontic patients with gingivitis gingiva groove IL-1β, PGE2, sICAM-1 levels, improve the periodontal status, relieve swelling and pain, improve the clinical curative effect.

Objective To understand the current situation of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD),iodine nutritional status and implementation situation of the prevention and control measures before and after the adjustment of edible salt iodine level in Xi'an City,and to provide a basis for scientific prevention and control of IDD.Methods In 2011,seven counties (areas) of Xi'an City were selected,including Lintong,Weiyang,Chang'an,Lantian,Gaoling,Zhouzhi and Huxian,and five subareas were selected according to the five directions as east,west,south,north and centre in each county (area),one township was selected in the centre subarea and two townships were selected in other subareas,four villages were selected in every township,edible salt samples of eight households were selected in every village to detect salt iodine.Six areas of Xi'an City were selected,including Yanta,Beilin,Yanliang,Lianhu,Xincheng and Baqiao,one township was selected according to the five directions as east,west,south,north and centre in each county,four villages were selected in every township,edible salt samples of 15 households were selected in every village to detect salt iodine.One school was respectively selected according to the five directions as east,west,south,north and centre in 13 counties,42 children aged 8-10 were selected in every school to detect goiter.Two schools were selected in Beilin,Lianhu and Xincheng,respectively,30 children aged 8-10 were selected in every school to detect urine iodine.The remaining 10 counties were respectively divided according to the five directions as east,west,south,north and centre,two schools were selected in the centre subarea,30 children aged 8-10 were selected in every school to test urine iodine,one school was selected in other subareas,15 children aged 8-10 were selected in every school to detect urine iodine.In 2015,13 counties were selected,one township was selected according to the five directions as east,west,south,north and centre in each county,four villages were selected in every township,and edible salt samples of 15 households were selected in every village to detect salt iodine.One school was selected in every township,42 children aged 8-10 were selected in every school to detect goiter.Meanwhile,40 children aged 8-10 were selected in every school to detect urine iodine.Results The median of salt iodine was 33.70 mg/kg in 2011,which was higher than that in 2015 (24.96 mg/kg),the difference was statistically significant (Z =31.059,P ＜ 0.05).In 2012 and 2015,the coverage rates of iodized salt were 99.79％ (3 808/3 816) and 99.90％ (3 896/3 900),consumption rates of qualified iodized salt were 99.32％ (3 791/3 816) and 97.64％ (3 808/3 900).The rate of weighted goiter in 2011 was 2.76％,which was higher than that in 2015 (1.17％),the difference was statistically significant (X2 =15.11,P ＜ 0.01).The median of urinary iodine was 292.5 μg/L in 2011,which was higher than that in 2015 (259.0 μg/L),the difference was statistically significant (Z =2.862,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The population iodine nutritional status is more than sufficient in Xi'an City after adjustment of edible salt iodine level,there is still a space for lowering the iodine level in edible salt.
