Soft aid for health has become an important component of China's foreign aid. Soft aid for health with a focus on human resources development reflects the core spirit and the innovative mechanism of China's foreign aid. This paper examines three different types of aid for health human resources: medical assistance teams, govern-ment scholarships for students from developing countries, and health training courses for officials from developing countries. It also argues that China's foreign aid exposes problems, including insufficient strategic planning, non-in-volvement of civil society and NGOs, and lack of research on China's soft aid practices. In this paper, we suggests that to improve the effectiveness of foreign aid, the government should improve its strategic planning for aid, ensure the full public participation, strengthen the academic research, and improve knowledge sharing.

BACKGROUND: To synthetically analyze the correlation between cytokeratin 19 and pancreas stem cells.DATA SOURCES:References about the correlation between cytokeratin 19 and pancreas stem cells were retrieved in Medline and Ovid database with the key words of "cytokeratin, pancreas, stem cells, marker, differentiation" in English from January 2000 to May 2006.STUDY SELECTION:Literatures about the correlation between cytokeratin 19 and pancreas stem cells were retrieved and those characterized by strong pertinency, published in the near future and selected from authoritative journals were selected in this paper.DATA EXTRACTION: Among 86 articles, 35 of them met the inclusion criteria and 51 were excluded.DATA SYNTHESIS:Pancreas stem cells are characterized by multi-directional differentiation.Cytokeratin 19 has a positive expression in pancreas stem cells and a molecular sign of pancreas stem cells. This provides a new way to further understand bionomics of pancreas stem cells, study separation, purification, transconformation and direction differentiation to islet cells, and treat diabetes mellitus with transplantation of pancreas stem cells.CONCLUSION: Expression of cytokeratin 19 is observed during the differentiation of pancreas stem cells and cytokeratin19 is a sign of pancreas stem cells.

Liu Tea (Sibiraea angustata) at doses of 8.5 and 15.0g/kg ig coild redice TG, ?-LP, TC and elevate HDL-C levels of normal of normal or hyperlipoidemia rat. In vitro experiments indcated that S.angustata may promote the eatabolism of FFA. The contents of FFA in rat serum showed significant elevation in S. angustata treated groups as compared with the control. In addition, fat cells were smaller in S. angustat treated rats and mucoid changes could be seen under microscope. These results suggested that S. angustat could iegulate the metabolism of lipoid.

Objective To investigate the feasibility and the short-term efficacy of laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of uterine malignant tumors. Methods Laparoscopic radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymphadenectomy was performed in 25 cases of cervical cancer and 24 cases of endometrial cancer from February 2003 to March 2005 in this hospital.Of the 49 cases,a selective paraaortic lymphadenectomy was carried out in 5 cases. Results All the operations were successfully performed under laparoscope except for 1 case of conversion to open surgery. The operating time was 190?45 min,the blood loss during operation was 172?99 ml,and the number of excised lymph nodes was 17?6.Surgical complications occurred in 8 cases(8/49,16%),including 1 case of bladder injury,1 case of internal iliac vein injury,3 cases of urinary retention,1 case of vesicovaginal fistula(VVF) at the 6 postoperative month, and 2 cases of lymphatic cyst.Follow-up observations were carried out for 1~12 months in 21 cases,12~24 months in 17 cases, and 24~27 months in 4 cases. No recurrence was seen. Conclusions Laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of uterine malignant tumors is safe and feasible and offers significant short-term effects.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;(4):492-496
Objective To investigate the association between expression of PHH3 and CyclinD1 and their significance in breast invasive ductal carcinoma. Methods Immunostoemical MaxVision staining was used to detect the expression of PHH3 and CyclinD1 in 89 samples of breast invasive ductal carcinoma and 30 samples of normal breast tissues. The correlation was then analyzed between the expression of PHH3 and CyclinD1 and the clinical path-ological parameters as well as prognosis. Results The positive rate of PHH3 in breast invasive ductal carcinoma tis-sues(68 /89,76.4%)was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissues(2 /30,6.7%)(χ2 =45.051,P <0.05).The expression level of PHH3 was significantly correlated with tumor histological degree(χ2 =10.540,P <0.05),anillary lymph node metastasis(χ2 =6.852,P <0.05)and TNMstage(χ2 =5.634,P <0.05),but it was not related to the age(χ2 =1.054,P >0.05 )and the tumor diameter(χ2 =0.014,P >0.05 ).The positive rate of CyclinD1 in breast invasive ductal carcinoma tissues(62 /89,69.7%)was significantly higher than that in normal breast tissues(3 /10,10.0%)(χ2 =32.223,P <0.05).The expression level of CyclinD1 was significantly correlated with tumor histological degree(χ2 =13.328,P <0.05),anillary lymph node metastasis(χ2 =5.041,P <0.05)and TNMstage(χ2 =4.419,P <0.05),but it was not related to the age(χ2 =0.500,P >0.05)and the tumor diameter (χ2 =1.836,P >0.05).The expression of PHH3 was directly correlated to the CyclinD1 (r =0.497,P <0.05). Kaplan-Meier analysis showed that the expression of PHH3 was negatively correlated with prognosis.Log-Rank test indicated that there was significant difference(χ2 =10.468,P <0.05),CyclinD1 was negatively correlated with prog-nosis.Log-Rank test indicated that there was significant difference (χ2 =7.906,P <0.05 ).Conclusion High expression of PHH3 and CyclinD1 may be correlated with evolution and metastasis of breast invasive ductal carcino-ma.Combined analysis of PHH3 and CyclinD1 may provide a theoretical basis for prognostic information and treatment of patients with breast cancer.
