Toxicogenomics is a new undertaking in the pursuit of human genomics relevant to health risk from environmental toxicants and related stress, and also is a new scientific subdiscipline derived from a combination of the fields of toxicology and genomics. Microarray technique, i. e. gene-chip technique includes gene-chip development, pretreatment of detected samples, probe hybridization, detection data analysis. The microarray technique in toxicology mainly was applied to identification of potential hazardous substances, screening for mechanism of action, dose-response relationship assessment, identification of interaction among chemical mixtures, biomarker of exposure and biomarker of susceptibility. Microarray technique has been used to study biomarker for human bladder cancer, to study fingerprints of gene regulation associated with cadmium chloride, benzo(a) pyrene and trichloroethylene. fn this paper, a new automated and multi-applied molecular biology workstation, NanoChip biomolecular system was introduced .
2.The Effect of Diammonium Glycyrrhizinate on Left Ventricular Function of Myocardial Ischemia-Reperfusion Lesion in Rats

Objective:To study the effect of diammonium glycyrrhizinate (DG) on left ventricular function impairment during myocardial ischemia-reperfusion in rats. Methods:The left ventricular was cannulated through right common carotid artery on the myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury model. The left ventricler function was assessed before and 10 minutes after the administration of DG, immediate and 20 minutes after initiation of ischemia, immediate and 30, 60 minutes after reperfusion, by measuring the left ventricular systolic pressure (LVSP), left ventricular end diastolic pressure (LVEDP), +dp*dtmax and -dp*dtmax. Results:Compared with the baseline, all measurements of LVSP, +dp*dtmax and -dp*dtmax decreased (P<0.05,P<0.01), while LVEDP increased (P<0.01) after administration of DG. As the time of ischemia-reperfusion lasting, LVSP, dp*dtmax and -dp*dtmax generally decreased progressively, while LVEDP generally increased progressively. 20 minutes after the initiation of ischemia and immediate, 30 and 60 minutes following reperfusion, LVSP, +dp*dtmax and -dp*dtmax in the DG group were significantly higher than those in IR group (P<0.01), LVEDP significantly lower than that in IR group (P<0.01) at the same time. Conclusion:DG can protect left ventricular function against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats.
3.Protective effect of baicalin aganist myocardial ischemia and reperfusion injury in rats

AIM: To study the protective effects of baicalin on myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury in rats. METHODS: The models of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury were established by occluding left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) for 30 min, followed by reperfusion for 120 min. The rate of rise and decline of left ventricular pressure (±dp/dtmax) and end-diastolic pressure of left ventricle (LVEDP) were monitored continuously with polygraph. After reperfusion, the blood and myocardium samples were taken for determination of malondialdehyde (MDA) content, superoxide dismutase (SOD), Na+-K+-ATPase, Ca2+-ATPase activities in myocardium, creatine kinase (CK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in serum with spectrophotometer. The ultrastructural changes in ischemic myocardium were assessed by transmission electron microscope. RESULTS:dtmax and LVEDP, decreased plasma CK and LDH levels, reduced myocardial MDA content, and increased the activities of SOD, Na+-K+-ATPase, and Ca2+-ATPase in myocardium following ischemia-reperfusion. The ultrastructural injury in reperfused myocardium was relieved. CONCLUSION: Baicalin possesses a protective effect against myocardial ischnemia-reperfusion injury through scavenging oxide radicals and improving Na+-K+-ATPase and Ca2+-ATPase activities.
4.Effect of Tributyltin Chloride Exposure in Gestation on Development and Sex Hormone Level of Female Offspring Rats

Objective To explore the developmental toxicity of tributyltin chloride and the effects on sex hormone in female offspring rats through maternal gestation exposure. Methods Pregnant Wistar rats were randomly divided into four groups, 4 in each group. They were treated with TBTC by gavage at the dose of 0, 1, 2.5 and 5 mg/kg bw respectively from days 12-20 of gestation. 10 female offspring rats were randomly selected from each group and killed on postnatal day 70. The liver, kidney, uterus and ovary were weighed and the organ indexes were calculated. Pathological examination for liver, kidney, uterus and ovary were performed. Follicle stimulating hormone(FSH), luteotropic hormone(LH), testosterone(T) and estradiol(E2) in serum was determined by radioimmunity method. 5.Anterior decompression and stabilization with anterior or posterior instrumentation for treatment of the serious thoracolumbar burst fractures

[Objective]To evaluate the clinical effect for the treatment of severe thoracolumbar vertebral burst fracture by the method of anterior vertebral decompression and fusion combining anterior or posterior fixation,and investigate its indications in different conditions.[Method]At the standard of Denis,twenty-eight cases were treated by anterior vertebral decompression and fusion combining anterior or posterior fixation.In a total of 28 cases,25cases were single vertebral fractures,2 cases were two adjacent vertebral fractures and 1 case was two vertebral fractures comparted by one unfractured centrum,the level of vertebral destruction was ruled by LSC scale of McCormack.[Result]26 cases were reviewed,all patients' pain were relieved obviously after the operation,(VAS scale improved),the height and shape of the fractured centrums recovered obviously(Cobb's angle improved 14.5? in average).After an average of 21.5 months follow-up,the pain all disappeared,the intervertebral grafted bone reached bony union,no Cobb's angle increased and no apparent implication occurred in all cases.[Conclusion]Application of anterior vertebral decompression and fusion combining anterior or posterior fixation can increase the stability of the anterior column of the spine,decompress completely,the intervertebral bone graft with kinds of interbody fixation enables the patients to move as early as possible,it is an effective method in treatment of severe thoracolumbar vertebral burst fracture.
6.Improved Z-open door expensive laminoplasty for cervical ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament

[Objective]To investigate the effects of the expansive Z-open-door laminoplasty for the ossification of posterior longitudinal ligaments(OPLL).[Methods]Thirty-six cases of OPLL were operated by the expansive Z-open-door laminoplasty.According to JOA score(17 Points) the proximate effects of all patients were analyzed.[Results]All cases were followed-up for average 18.6 months.JOA improved from 8.3 preoperatively to 13.8 postoperatively.Improved rate averaged 58.6%.Image show:3 of 31cases of anterior protruding type were changed to straight type,5 cases of straight type still kept initial type.None of all cases changed into posterior protruding type after operation.The flexion and extention range of the neck were less 1/3 and the axis-ward pain happened commonly.[Conclusion]Improved expensive Z-open door laminoplasty for DPLL can decompression clearly.It has advantages of adeguate canal expansion,preventing re-dosing the door,and being safe and reliable.
7.EFFECT OF 3, 6-DIMETHAMIDODIBENZOPYRIODONIUM CITRATE ( IHC-65 ) ON PLATELET FUNCTION AND cAMP LEVEL IN RABBITS

IHC-65 was found to be a potent inhibitor of platelet function . It inhibited platelet aggregation induced by threshold concentration of ADP, arachidonic acid and collagen with dose-dependent manner in vitro, and at 96?mol/L, AIR ( aggregation inhibition rate,) were 71.56, 66.93 and 68.47% respectively. IHC-65 inhibited platelet serotonin release induced by collagen,and at 96 ?mol/L, release inhibition rate was 82.97%. IHC-65 did not influence cAMP level in platelet significantly. It is concluded that IHC-65 inhibited platelet aggregation and its action mechanism may be related to inhibition of serotonin release and to antagonizing Ca ++ .
8.The Relation Between Treatment Based on Differential Diagnosis of Syndromes and Trace Elements in the Hairs of Aplastic Anemia Patients

12 trace elements from the hairs of 20 cases of aplastic anemia were examined and compared with that from hairs of normal people as control. Results showed that in Yin-deficient type patients, Li, Ca, Si, Cr markedly decreased; in Yangdeficient type patients, Zn, Mg, Ba, Si, Ca, Li markedly decreased, while all 12 trace elements decreased in patients of deficiencies of both Yin and Yang. New approaches were also offered for treatment of aplastic anemia on the basis of differential diagnosis.
9.Role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in high fattyacid induced injury in cardiomyocytes

Aim To explore the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress (EPR) in high fatty acid induced injury in cardiomyocytes.Methods Cardiomyocytes were exposed to different concentrations of palmitic acid (0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 mmol·L-1) for 24 h and different time points of high palmitic acid (0.2 mmol·L-1) (12, 24, 48 h).Cell viability was measured by CCK8, and the protein expressions of EPR such as GRP78, CHOP, PERKphos, IRE1phos, ATF6 and apoptosis related proteins such as Bcl-2 and Bax were determined by Western blot.Results When the cells were stimulated with palmitic acid (0.1~0.4 mmol·L-1) for 24 h, the cell proliferation rates of 0.2 and 0.4 mmol·L-1 groups were significantly decreased.Cardiomyocytes exposured to high palmitic acid (0.2 mmol·L-1) for 24 h showed an increase in theexpression of EPR related proteins (GRP78, CHOP, PERKphos, IRE1phos and ATF6) and Bax(P<0.05), while Bcl-2 expression was significantly reduced.Pretreatmented with EPR inhibitor pravastatin(10 mol·L-1) significantly increased high palmitic acid induced Bcl-2 expression (P<0.05) and significantly decreased high palmitic acid induced Bax expression (P<0.05).Conclusion Activated EPR might play an important role in treatment of high fatty acid induced myocardial injury.
10.The effects of different polishing instruments on the microstructure of different tipes of composite resins

Objective:To evaluate the effect of different polishing instruments on the microstructure of composite resin.Methods:Specimens of 5 kinds of resins were randomly divided into three groups and were polished with Astropol(group A),Sof-Lex(group B) and Super-snap(group C)respectively(n=3 for each resin).Specimens of natural enamel surface were used as the controls(group D).The surface roughness(Ra)and microstructure of the specimens were evaluated by an atomic force microscope(AFM).Results:Ra value in group A was lower than that in group B(P=0.015);Z350 XT resin obtained the lowest Ra value among the 5 kinds of resin specimens(P<0.05).All of the resin specimens had similar average Ra after polishing procedure(P>0.05).Conclusion:Astropol polishing instrument is better than Sof-Lex;Z350 XT has better polish performance.The three polishing instruments are ef-fective in polishing the 5 composite resins.
