Objective To investigate the application of colposcope in cervical cancer screening in Yunnan ethnic minority areas.Methods The questionnaire survey was conducted on 641 women,and the data of the colposcopy and biopsy were reviewed retrospectively.The colposcopy and pathological diagnosis results were compared.Results The minority women thought colposcopy more acceptable was 78.64％ (383/487).The colposcopy found suspected low-grade cervical lesions were 377 cases,high-grade cervical lesions were 245 cases,cervical condyloma were 15 cases,cervical cancer were 4 cases.The pathological results:278 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) Ⅰ,174 cases of CIN Ⅱ,55 cases of CIN Ⅲ,15 cases of cervical condyloma,4 cases of cervical cancer.The consistent rate of colposcopy and pathological examination was 68.17％ (257/377) in low-grade lesions,89.39％ (219/245) in high-grade lesions,cervical cancer and cervical condyloma was entirely consistent.Conclusions The colposcopy is more easily accepted in Yunnan ethnic minority areas,which could be a preliminary diagnosis of cervical lesions,cervical condyloma and cervical cancer.It has an important clinical application value in diagnosis of cervical diseases.

Objective:To investigate the status quo and influencing factors of tutors' guidance satisfaction of medical postgraduates.Methods:Te satisfaction of tutors' guidance of 149 medical postgraduates from a class Ⅲ teaching hospital in Beijing who would graduate were investigated with questionnaires and statistically analyzed. SPSS 22.0 software was used for data statistical.Results:The rate of satisfaction of tutors' guidance was 92.62%. The satisfaction with the training of ideological ethics and academic integrity was relatively higher (94.97%), and the satisfaction with career planning guidance was lower (89.71%). The tutors' guiding frequency and contents, tutor's attention to postgraduates and the relationship between them, and so on had certain influence on the tutors' guidance satisfaction.Conclusion:The mechanism of tutor management should be strengthened and the management level of postgraduate should be improved.

The types of the voltage-dependent calcium channels (VDCCs) in human ejaculatory sperm and the effects of calcium channel blocker (CCB) on human sperm motility parameters in vitro were investigated. The human sperm motility parameters in vitro in response to the pharmacological agents nifedipine (NIF, inhibitor of L-type VDCC) and co-conotoxin (GVIA, inhibitor of N-type VDCC) were compared and analyzed statistically. The results showed that NIF (1, 5, 10 micromol/L) could not only significantly affect human sperm's shape but also spermatozoa motility after incubated at least 10 min in vitro (P<0.001). GVIA (0.1, 0.5 and 1 micromol/L) could just only significantly affect human sperm's progressive motility (a %+b %) after incubated for 20 min in vitro (P<0.01), but they both could not significantly affect spermic abnormality rate. It is suggested that L-type VDCC, non L-type VDCCs and isoform of L-type VDCC exist in the cell membrane of human sperm solely or together, and they participate in the spermic physiological processes especially the spermic motility.

Objective To review the experience in the management of gastric cancer with liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension.Method A retrospective analysis was made in 35 gastric cancer cases with liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension admitted into our hospital from January 2000 through June 2009.Result There were no intraoperative death in this group.Postoperative ascites occurred in 19 patients,anastomotic leakage in one case,anastomotic bleeding in 2 cases,wound bleeding in 2 cases,intraabdominal infection in 17 cases (of which combined fungal infection in 4 patients),incision infection in one patient and chylous leakage in one case.The morbidity rate was 71%.Four patients died during hospitalization including multiple organ dysfunction syndrome in 2 cases,with mortality rate of 11%. Conclusion In order to reduce the incidence of mortality and complications,we should complete preoperative evaluation,correct perioperative management,guide surgery with damage control concept,follow individualized principles and emphasize on preventive devascularization.

Objective To compare the safety and effectiveness of three types of intrauterine device (IUD) inserted immediately after artificial abortion.Methods A randomized controlled clinical trial was performed in 4 family planning service stations in Pudong New Area from January to December 2012.Total 1 200 eligible women were randomly assigned to receive three types of IUD:MYCu,TCu380A or G-Cu200 (n =400 in each group) immediately after vacuum aspiration.All subjects were followed up for 12 months.The cumulative rates of termination of three IUD after 12 months were analyzed with WHO LTA 2.0 life table.Results Total 1 199 subjects were followed up for 12 months with a drop-out rate of 0.08％ (1/1 200).No any uterine perforation was found.During the 12 months the pregnancy rates with IUD in situ in MYCu,TCu380A and G-Cu200 groups were 0.26/100 women year,0 and 0.52/100 women year,respectively (x2 =1.951,P ≥ 0.2).The rates of expulsion in three groups were 0.26/100 women year,1.84/100 women year and 2.05/100 women year,respectively(x2 =5.539,P =0.066).The remove rates related to bleeding and paining in three groups were 1.26/100 women year,7.29/100 women year and 2.76/100 women year,respectively (x2 =21.625,P =0.001).The discontinuation rates related to IUD use in there groups were 3.25/100 women year,9.00/100 women year and 5.50/100 women year,respectively(x2 =12.191,P =0.004).The rates of Abnormal position in three groups were 1.51/100 women year,0 and 0.26/100 women year,respectively (x2 =8.649,P =0.014).Conclusion Three IUDs inserted immediately after vacuum aspiration are all effective.Among three IUDs,MYCu shows lower expulsion rate,lower discontinuation rate related to IUD use and higher continuous rate; but the abnormal position rate of MYCu is higher than other two types IUD.

As a vital component in an overall laboratory animal care and use program , development of a disaster plan plays a critical role for every research institution .Currently, most of domestic institutions would draw up an“emergency operation plan , EOP”, but ignoring a practicable “business continuity plan , BCP” in establishing a disaster plan.In this article, we will discusse about the definition of disaster , how to set up an EOP, and how to establish a thorough BCP , in order to show an integrated and professional disaster plan in laboratory animal care and use program .

Objective To construct a lentiviral expression vector of peroxiredoxin2(PRDX2) RNA interference (RNAi) and to investigate the effect of siRNA of PRDX2 genes on the proliferation of human colonrectal cancer SW480 cell .Methods RNAi tar‐get sequences were designed and synthesized towards the PRDX2 gene sequences .The lentiviral vector pGC‐EGFP‐shPRDX2 was constructed and identified .The vector was transformed into SW480 cells ,and the transfection efficiency was evaluated by fluores‐cence microscopy .The expression of PRDX2 was detected with Quantitative real‐time PCR (qRT‐PCR) and Western blot in the transfected cells .Cell growth and colony forming ability were detected with MTT and plate cloning technique .Results PRDX2 gene lentiviral vector was successfully established and was proved by gene sequencing .The expression of PRDX2 in mRNA and pro‐tein was significantly reduced(P<0 .05) .The PRDX2 mRNA and protein expression in SW480 transfected with lentiviral were sig‐nificantly reduced (P< 0 .05) ,and the ability of growth and proliferation were significantly reduced(P< 0 .05) .Conclusion PRDX2 gene lentiviral vector could be a stable and reliable tool .The proliferation and growth of SW480 cells transfected by pGC‐EGFP‐shPRDX2 could be effectively suppressed ,which could facilitate further investigation of the roles of PRDX2 gene in the de‐velopment and progression of colorectal cancer .

Objective To explore the value of EUS in the diagnosis,differential diagnosis and follow-up of primary gastric lymphoma(PGL).Methods A total of 26 patients whose endoscopic findings were highly suspected for PGL were enrolled in this study.Initial endoscopic examination anti routine biopsy were performed in all patients.EUS were undergone in all cases and its guided large piecemeal biopsy was administered in selected patients.The results of EUS,routine biopsy and routine biopsy combined with a large piecemeal biopsy were compared.Results Compared with biopsy and histopathological results,EUS made the fight diagnosis in 23 cases with overall accuracy of 88.46%,which was significantly superior to routine endoscopy and biopsy(50.0%,P=0.006),but was slightly lower than that of routine biopsy combined with large piecemeal biopsy(88.5%vs.92.3%,P=1.000).EUS can accurately differentiate gastric malignancy from benign disease with accuracy of 100.0%(23/23).Meanwhile EUS accuracy of tumor invasion(T stage)was 100.0%(12/12)as well.Conclusion EUS is valuable in the diagnosis,differential diagnosis and follow-up of PGL.

BACKGROUND: Preliminary study has proven that adult human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) suppress peripheral blood lymphocytes proliferation.But the mechanism was still to be investigated.OBJECTIVE: To study the negatively regulatory effect of adult human MSCs on allogeneic lymphocyte proliferation by cell-free condition.DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING: Cytological observation in vitro,which was performed in the Lanzhou General Hospital,Lanzhou Military Area Command of Chinese PLA between October 2005 and December 2007.MATERIALS: The bone marrow sample was provided by the allo-transplantation donor.The peripheral blood lymphocytes were provided by the healthy volunteer.METHODS: Adult human MSCs were separated with Percoll + adherence method.Allogeneic peripheral blood lymphocytes were obtained from healthy donors with Ficoll solution and the cell concentration was adjusted as 2×109/L for use.100μ L MSCs culture supernatant was taken out in 96-well plates.The groups were following: A superuatant + 3-day MSCs culture media (100 μ L/well); B superuatant + phytohemagglutini (PHA; 1 g/L,5 μ L); C medium + LG-DMEM culture media containing 10% fetal bovine serum (100 μ L); D medium + PHA (1 g/L,5 μ L).The cells were incubated at 37 ℃ with 5% CO2 in a fully humidified atmosphere for three days.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Effect of MSCs supematant on proliferation and transformation of variant lymphocytes.RESULTS: Peripheral blood lymphocytes proliferation was suppressed as compared with the blank control group and PHA group after MSCs culture,and the inhibition ratio was 9.00% (P ＜ 0.05).When lymphocytes were stimulated by PHA,the suppression effects were even stronger and the inhibition ratio was 20.91% (P ＜ 0.01).CONCLUSION: Adult human MSCs supernatant can suppress peripheral blood lymphocytes proliferation and transformation; furthermore,PHA can enhance the inhibitory effect,suggesting the negative regulation is at least in part due to indirectly inhibiting lymphocytes via soluble cytokines.

Objective To investigate the clinical application value of ultrasonic rapid paraffin section in intraoperative diagnosis of breast tumor.Methods Twenty-five patients of breast tumor specimens were admitted from December 2012 to December 2013,including 19 cases from surgery,4 cases from gynecology,2 cases from medical patients.Twenty-five cases were used with ultrasonic rapid paraffin section and the remaining tissues were used as conventional paraffin section,then compared the two methods.Results This study took two different ways but the same results were achieved with 23 cases,the diagnostic accuracy was 92.0％ (23/25).Two of 25 cases were misdiagnosed with the misdiagnosis rate was 8.0％ (2/25).One patient appeared delayed diagnosis,accounting for 4.0％(1/25).After 25 cases of breast cancer biopsy treated with ultrasonic rapid paraffin section,benign lesions was 20 patients,with the highest incidence of breast adenosis of 9 cases (36.0％,9/25).The malignant lesions was 4 patients with invasive ductal carcinoma in which the highest incidence,accounting for 3 cases (12.0％,3/25).Delay diagnosed 1 case of intraductal papilloma.Conclusion Ultrasonic rapid parafifin section is widely used in clinical application,with high quality and diagnostic biopsy rate and other characteristics,so it is worthy of clinical application.
