Objective To study the correlation between marital adjustment and personality characteristics in infertile patients. Method The Locke-Wollance marital adjustment measurement scale and Eysenck personality questionnaire(EPQ)were used among 156 patients with infertility to investigate the correlation between marital adjustment and personality characteristics in infertile patients. Results The total score on the marital adjustment was(100.7±15.5). The rate of good marital adjustment was 51.3%and the rate of marital maladjustment was 48.7%. Those with a marital time of shorter than 5 years were better at marital adjustment compared to those with more than 5 years adjustment(P<0.01). In the characteristics of personality, the items of psychoticism(P)and neuroticism(N)fell at the mode of propensity. The scores on introversion and covering were at the middle level. The groups between the marriage age of shorter than 5 years and more than 5 years were significantly different in psychoticism, introversion and extroversion and nervousness(P<0.01). The marital adjustment were negatively correlated with psychoticism and nervousness, but positively correlated with extraversion. The marriage adjnstmc-nt were positively correlated to cpsychoticism and nervousness, but postively correlated with extroversion. The marriage age was positively correlated with psychoticism and nervousness, but negatively related to extraversion and covering with statistically significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusions In the infertile patients, there are many cases of family marriage disorder. The marriage adjustment and age can affect the personality traits of infertile patients. It indicates that infertility affects the physical and mental health.

AIM To study the boosting effect of Maximin 2 on expression of HLA DR and HLA ABC by cultured bladder cancer cell lines and compare with TNF ??IFN ?. METHODS Cell culture and FCM were used to dectect the effects of Maximin 2,TNF and IFN on the cell growth of three types of bladder cancer cell lines and HLA DR and HLA ABC expression under the IC 50 culture concentration. RESULTS Maximin 2 had show inhibition to cells growth under the small dosage. TNF ??IFN ? also had the effect on restrain all 3 cell lines growth. The expression of HLA DR was not any change in all 3 cell lines after being stimulated by Maximin 2?TNF ? and IFN ?, Maximin 2 and TNF ? can not change HLA ABC expression, IFN ? can up regulate HLA ABC expression. CONCLUSION Maximin 2 show the dose dependent effect on cell growth suppression; The mechanism of antitumor of Maximin 2 seems not relate to the enhanced expression of HLA DR or HLA ABC, TNF ? and IFN ? also not found effect to HLA DR expression. Since IFN ? are able to increase the expression of HLA ABC expression, enhanced recognization and cytotoxity of CTL to bladder cancer cells. It is may be one of the mechanism of antitumor of IFN ?.

Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of application of anterograde flexible ureteroscope in the treatment of ureterointestinal anastomotic strictures in patients after Bricker urinary diversion. Methods From March 2009 to July 2012, 6 patients with ureterointestinal anastomotic strictures after Bricker procedure were enrolled in this study. The average age of the patients was (61 ±7) years old. The first clinical presentation was averagely (6.3 ±2.5) months after the Bricker procedure. There were 4 cases with left side strictures and 2 cases with right side ones. The urinary tract ultrasound, CT, KUB+IVP and antegrade urography were carried out to identify the obstructive portion. The mean length of stricture was 0.9cm (0.4~2.5) . First, all patients underwent percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN), then inside incision by Holmium:YAG laser under anterograde flexible ureteroscopy and lithotripsy (with calculi) . The F6 double J ureteral stent was indwelled for 12 weeks. KUB+IVP was performed after removal of double J ureteral stents. Results The mean operative time was (53±8) min. The mean hospital stay was (5.5±2) days. The blood loss was 3~6 mL. The average follow-up was 18 months (6~30) . No recurrence was found in 5 patients. One case had recurrent stricture after the first procedure, which was successfully managed by the flexible ureteroscopy again and replacing double J ureteral stent every 12 months. Conclusion The inside incision by anterograde flexible ureteroscopic Holmium:YAG laser is safe and effective for ureterointestinal anastomotic strictures in patients after Bricker urinary diversion, with less complications.

BACKGROUND:Femoral neck fracture is mainly fixed by three inverted triangle cannulated screws. Scholars have proposed to add a cannulated screw to enhance the fixation strength of femoral neck fracture of Pauwels III type based on three cannulated screw fixation, but the stability is not verified. OBJECTIVE:To analyze the biomechanical stability and stress of the three and four cannulated screws for the treatment of the Pauwels III femoral neck fractures. METHODS:The CT imaging results of the fourth generation of artificial bone sawbones were imported into the Mimics software wherein a three-dimensional finite element model of the proximal femur was prepared and introduced in the 3-matic software. Models of middlesegment of femoral neck with Pauwels III fractures were established. Cannulated screw models were established with UG 8.0 software and introduced in the fractures models. Finally, finite element models of Pauwels III femoral neck fractures fixed with three and four screws were established. In the same condition, an axial load of 411 N was applied on the femoral head with Abaqus software. The displacement of two markers of the broken ends and internal fixation system Von Mises stress distribution were compared between the two models. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1) The displacement was 0.42 mm in three screws model, and 0.17 mm in the four screws model. (2) Von Mises stress peak was 547 MPa and 27.8 MPa in both models. The peak value was lower in models of fourscrews than that of three screws. Stress concentration position was at the fracture site in both models. The stress range of models of four screws was more extensive and scattered. (3) Finite element analysis results demonstrated that four-screw implantation for Pauwels III femoral neck fractures had strong anti-shearing force and biomechanical stability. Clinical advantages need further clinical comparative study.

Objective:To explore the application effect of family-centered empowerment model (FCEM) in rehabilitation nursing of children with femoral shaft fractures treated by skin traction. Methods:A retrospective case-control study was conducted to analyze the clinical data of 107 children with femoral shaft fractures treated with skin traction in Anhui Children′s Hospital from April 2019 to October 2021, including 67 males and 40 females; aged 1.5-5.0 years [2.8(2.0, 3.5)years]. Fracture types included oblique fracture ( n=50), comminuted fracture ( n=26), transverse fracture ( n=14) and spiral fracture ( n=17). FCEM nursing was implemented in 55 patients (family empowerment group) and routine home rehabilitation nursing guidance was performed in 52 patients (routine nursing group). The face, legs, activity, cry, consolability (FLACC) behavioral score on admission and at days 1, 3 and 7 after skin traction, treatment compliance rate at 1 month after skin traction, complication rate at 1 month after skin traction, length of hospital stay and fracture healing time were compared between the two groups. Results:All patients were followed up for 12-18 weeks [13.4(12.7, 13.9)weeks]. There was no significant difference in FLACC behavioral score between the two groups on admission ( P>0.05). The FLACC behavioral score was (4.0±0.7)points,(3.4±0.6)points and (2.4±0.6)points in family empowerment group at days 1, 3 and 7 after skin traction, lower than (4.8±0.7)points, (3.9±0.8)points and (3.3±0.5)points in routine nursing groups (all Ρ<0.01). One month after skin traction, treatment compliance was excellent in 51 patients, good in 4, poor in 0, with treatment compliance rate of 92.7% (51/55) in family empowerment group, and was excellent in 40 patients, good in 9, poor in 3, with treatment compliance rate of 76.9% (40/52) in routine nursing group ( Ρ<0.05). The complication rate was 5.4% (3/55) in family empowerment group, lower than 21.2% (11/52) in routine nursing group ( Ρ<0.05). The length of hospital stay and fracture healing time were (15.6±0.3)days and (7.1±0.8)weeks in family empowerment group, shorter than (16.8±0.3)days and (8.2±0.4)weeks in routine nursing group (all Ρ<0.01). Conclusion:For children with femoral shaft fractures treated by skin traction, nursing using FCEM can alleviate pain, improve treatment compliance, reduce complication rate, reduce hospital stay and shorten fracture healing time.
