Objective To explore the role of humall papillomavims (HPV) type 16 E6 variants in the persistent infection and recurrence of the cervical high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL) after conization. Motheds During May to June 2012, 100 HSIL patients with HPV16 positive but negative at the margin after Loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) were selected from Shanghai People′s Hospital of Pudong District. The gene sequencing was done to the E6. The patients were followed up for 2 years. The E6 gene sequencing was done again to detect the HPV16 variants among those with persistent infections and recurrence. Results Among the 100 cases, E6 variants were detected, 81% of them HPV E6 variants Asian prototype, 14% European variant; 2% European prototype (EP) and 3% African variant 1. LEEP for Asian prototype was susceptible to the clearance of HPV16 (P < 0.001). The European variants of T350G, and A442C were correlated with persistent infection and recurrence (P < 0.001). Conclusion The HPV16 variant is closely related to the HSIL incidence. HSIL caused by HPV16 in Pudong New Area of Shanghai belong to the Asian type variant. The European variants of E6 , T350G/A442C were likely related to the recurrence of HPV16.

Objective To investigate the in vitro inhibitory effects of regulatory T cells ( Treg ) from unpregnant mice and pregnancy-induced regulatory T cells ( piTreg) on the proliferation of na?ve T cells and their differences .Methods The numbers of piTreg cells from allogeneic pregnant mice ( C57/B6 fe-male×BALB/c male) on day 12.5 (E12.5d) of gestation and Treg cells from unpregnant C57/B6 mice were detected respectively by flow cytometry .The percentages of piTreg cells and Treg cells in CD 4+T cells of age-matched female mice and their intracellular expression of Foxp 3 were analyzed .The in vitro inhibitory effects of piTreg cells and Treg cells on the CFSE-labeled na?ve T cells ( effector cells ) were compared in a one-way mixed lymphocyte culture system using mitomycin C-inactivated CD4-T cells as stimulator cells . Results The level of piTreg cells in splenic mononuclear cells was significantly higher than that of Treg cells (P<0.001) from normal mice.Foxp3 was highly expressed in both piTreg cells and Treg cells , howev-er slightly increased in piTreg cells .Moreover , piTreg cells had a significant stronger in vitro inhibitory effect on na?ve T cells proliferation than that of Tregs cells (P<0.006), which was in a cell-dependent manner. Conclusion The present study suggests that the piTreg cells have a stronger inhibitory effect on na ?ve T cell proliferation as compared with Terg cells from unpregnant mice , The differential activity of CD 4+CD25+Treg might be mediated by the paternal antigens during pregnancy .

The present study examined the protective effect of the ethanol extract of Sarcopyramis nepalensis (EESN) on agents-induced hepatotoxicity in mice and the possible mechanism. Acute liver injury was induced by administration of either CCl(4) or D-GalN. The animals were divided into 5 groups in terms of different treatment: normal group, CCl(4) or D-GalN group, silymarin or bifendate group, low dose EESN group (10 mg/kg) and high dose EESN group (30 mg/kg). Liver function was evaluated by detecting the levels of serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST). The oxidize stress markers were measured, including malondialdehyde (MDA), glutathione peroxidase (GSH) and superoxide dismutase (SOD). Liver tissues were histopathologically examined by hematoxylin-eosin (H&E) staining. The acute toxicity study revealed that there was no toxicity of EESN at the dose of 5 g/kg in mice. The levels of ALT and AST in serum, and the MDA level in live tissues were significantly increased and the activities of SOD and GSH substantially decreased in mice after CCl(4) or D-GalN treatment. These biochemical and oxidize stress markers were profoundly improved after treatment with EESN at different doses, which was similar to the results of silymarin or bifendate treatment. The histophathological examination revealed the significant improvement in the pathological changes of the liver in EESN-treated mice as compared to those in CCl(4) or D-GalN group. It was concluded that EESN possesses potential antioxidant and hepatoprotective properties and has therapeutic potential for liver diseases.

Objective:
To analyze the longitudinal association between mobile phone dependence and depressive symptoms in college students, so as to provide a theoretical basis for psychological health education among college students.
Methods:
From November 2021 to June 2023, 2 515 first year students from 2 universities in Yunnan Province were surveyed with a questionnaire by a cluster random sampling method, including baseline survey (November 2021, T1) and three follow up visits (June 2022, T2; November 2022, T3; June 2023, T4). The Self rating Questionnaire for Adolescent Problematic Mobile Phone Use and the Depression Anxiety Stress Scales-21 (DASS-21) were used to evaluate mobile phone dependence and depressive symptoms of college students. The χ 2 test was used to analyze the difference in depressive symptoms among different demographic groups, and a generalized estimation equation model was established to analyze the association between mobile phone dependence symptoms and depressive symptoms.
Results:
The detection rates of depressive symptoms among university students in Yunnan Province at time points T1, T2, T3, and T4 were 23.02%, 33.36%, 34.79% and 35.51%, respectively. There were statistically significant differences in the detection rates of depressive symptoms among college students with different sacademic burden (T1, T2, T3, T4), different number of close friends (T1, T2, T3), as well as their father s educational level (T1), mothers educational level (T2, T4), gender (T4), major (T3, T4), education (T2, T3, T4), family residency (T1, T2), and family economic conditions (T1, T2, T4) ( χ 2= 59.68 , 49.38, 16.70, 39.31; 55.35, 26.01, 16.69; 10.22; 14.87, 11.51; 14.90; 27.81, 50.28; 9.75, 7.42, 24.76; 6.06, 4.47 ; 15.88, 14.58, 15.85, P < 0.05 ). After controlling for demographic variables and confounding factors in the generalized estimation equation model, mobile phone dependence ( β =0.11), withdrawal symptoms of mobile phone dependence ( β =0.14), and the physical and mental effects of mobile phone dependence ( β =0.14) were all positively correlated with depressive symptoms ( P <0.01). Further gender analysis showed that depressive symptoms in both boys ( β =0.13, 0.13, 0.18) and girls ( β =0.10, 0.13, 0.13 ) were associated with mobile phone dependence, withdrawal symptoms of mobile phone dependence and the physical and mental effects of mobile phone dependence ( P <0.01).
Conclusions
Depressive symptoms of college students are positively correlated with mobile phone dependence, and family economic conditions, academic burden and number of close friends are factors that continued to affect depressive symptoms. College students should be guided to pay attention to the impact of excessive use of mobile phones on their physical and mental health, use mobile phones reasonably to reduce the incidence of depressive symptoms among college students.

Objective:
To study the relationship between sugar sweetened beverages consumption characteristics and insomnia of college students in Yunnan Province, so as to provide evidence for sleep quality improvement of college students.
Methods:
A cluster random sampling method was used to select 2 515 college students from two universities (Kunming University and Dali Nursing Vocational College) in Kunming and Dali in Yunnan Province for a longitudinal study, including baseline survey (T1, November 2021) and three follow up surveys (T2: June 2022, T3: November 2022, T4: June 2023). Sugar sweetened beverages consumption of college students was collected by Semi quantitative Food Frequency Questionnaire and insomnia was assessed by Insomnia Severity Index Scale. Sugarsweetened beverages consumption was analyzed by Kruskal-Wallis test. The Mann-Whiter U test and Kruskal-Wallis test were used to compare the detection rate of insomnia in college students with different population characteristics, and the generalized estimating equations model was established to analyze the association between sugar sweetened beverages consumption and insomnia.
Results:
The reported rate of insomnia among college students from T1 to T4 was 21.2%, 23.6%, 30.5 % and 36.0%, respectively. The median of sugar sweetened beverages consumption per week was 5 (1,9) bottles per person, and there were significant differences in sugar sweetened beverages (carbonated beverages, fruit beverages, tea beverages, milk beverages, energy beverages) consumption among college students with different insomnia status ( χ 2=42.91, 23.67, 29.98, 61.70, 30.82, P <0.01). The analysis of the generalized estimating equation model revealed that the consumption of carbonated beverages ( β= 0.04, 95%CI =0.00-0.08) and the consumption of milk beverages among college students ( β=0.04, 95%CI =0.00-0.09) were correlated with insomnia ( P <0.05). The stratified analysis indicated that consumption of carbonated beverages by female college students was associated with insomnia [ β(95%CI )=0.06(0.01-0.11)]; consumption of milk beverages among college students from middle income family was associated with insomnia [ β (95% CI )=0.05(0.00-0.10)], and consumption of carbonated beverages and fruit beverages from college students with high household economic status were both associated with insomnia [ β (95% CI )=0.35(0.23-0.46), 0.12(0.00-0.24)] ( P <0.05).
Conclusion
Sugar sweetened beverages, especially carbonated beverages, are associated with insomnia among college students in Yunnan Province.

Objective:
To account the direct cost of uterine cervix carcinoma treatment in China and to explore the related factors which influence the direct financial burden of the disease.
Methods:
Data was collected through the medical record system and telephone interviews in 14 county-level hospitals and 9 provincial and municipal hospitals from 14 provinces/municipalities enrolled in the Chinese National Health Industry Research Project in 2015. The direct financial burden of uterine cervix carcinoma treatment consisted of the direct medical cost and the direct non-medical cost of treatment in different pathological cervical cancer stages and precancerous lesions. Multiple liner regression method was used to analyze the factors affecting the costs.
Results:
The age of the 3 246 patients was (46.40±10.43) years, including 2 423 patients from provincial and municipal hospitals and 823 patients from county-level hospitals. The direct financial burden for one patient of pathological uterine cervix carcinoma stage or precancerous lesion ranged from 10 156.3 yuan to 75 716.4 yuan in provincial and municipal hospitals, and for patients from county-level hospitals, the cost was between 4 927.9 yuan and 47 524.8 yuan per person. There was a wide gap between the direct financial burden of patients in different disease stages. The direct financial burden of patients with precancerous lesions ranged from 4 927.9 yuan per person to 11 243.0 yuan per person, as for patients of pathological uterine cervix carcinoma stages, the direct financial burden was between 29 274.6 yuan and 75 716.4 yuan per person. The factors which influence direct financial burden would include: the levels of the hospital, pathological period, medicare reimbursement, days of treatment, and the methods of treatment (
