1.TCM Recognition on Mechanism of Female Aging

TCM boosts plenty theories and practice on delaying aging.Many TCM recognitions on the mechanism of female aging are still useful.The female has menstration,pregnancy,and lactation physiologically,which are different from the male,so the mechanism of the female aging is obviously different from the male.Many factors leads to female aging,such as the growth of age,interaction between deficiency,qi stagnation,blood stasis,and turbid phlegm,and results in functional retrogradation of the whole body.A deep discussion on the mechanism and law of female aging will bring about positive significance in the prevention and treatment of this disease.
2.Analysis of energy consumption for different ways of going up and down the steps

ObjectiveTo study energy consumption in different patterns of ascending and descending the stairs.Methods10 healthy individuals (with an average age of 32.2) were examined with four patterns of ascending and descending the stairs. They were common pattern (one step on one stair step, and the next step on the next stair step), side-pattern (side-stepping), oblique pattern (subject will ascend/descend at 45° angle), and two-step-one stair pattern (subjects will walk one step at a time in single stair step before proceeding to the next stair step). Meantime, SaO2, heart rate, respiration rate, and ventilation rate were measured.ResultsDuring investigation it was found out that SaO2 and heart rate with normal pattern was the highest. No difference was noticed in SaO2 between side-pattern, oblique pattern,and two-step-one stair pattern. Heart rate with two-step-one stair pattern was found to be the lowest.Conclusion Two-step-one stair pattern and oblique pattern were suitable for aged and handicapped persons.

6.Mediating effect of exercise on the relationship between body mass index and health-related quality of life

Objective To evaluate the effect of exercise on the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and health-related quality of life (HRQOL).Methods A total of 1 114 participants were recruited from the Physical Examination Center of two hospitals.SF-36 was used to measure HRQOL,and the classification of sports level was done according to the subjective evaluation of participants.Results The total score of HRQOL,physical component summary and mental component summary were 76.26± 16.10,75.97 ± 16.67 and 76.55± 18.33 respectively.The results of correlation analysis were as following:the positive correlation between BMI and general health (r=0.109),vitality (r=0.116),social functioning (r=0.092),role emotional (r=0.122),mental health (r =0.145) were significant (P< 0.01).The negative correlation between BMI and PF(r=-0.07,P=0.019)was significant.The mediation effects of exercise in was relationship between BMI and general health,vitality,mental health were significant,and the mediating effect were 5.84%,9.14% and 6.58%.Conclusion This study demonstrates that mediation effects of the exercise are significant in some dimensions of HRQOL,but the direct influence of BMI on the HRQOL plays a leading role.And BMI is a protective factor under certain conditions.
7.Application of Fufang Xueshuantong capsule in patients with optic atrophy of glaucoma and its influence on ocular hemodynamics

Objective To analyze the effect of Fufang Xueshuantong capsule on glaucomatous optic atrophy and its influence on ocular hemodynamics.Methods 124 cases of patients with glaucomatous optic atrophy from April 2014 to December 2016 in our hospital were selected,and randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the order of hospital admission , with 62 cases in each group.The control group was treated with nerve growth factor plus vitamin needling,the experimental group was treated with nerve growth factor and vitamin and compound Xueshuantong capsule.Observation and comparison the total effective rate, visual function (visual acuity, total gray value) improvement of the two groups of patients, as well as the changes of ocular hemodynamic parameters (systolic peak velocity, diastolic End-stage blood flow velocity, resistance index, pulsatility index).Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 93.55%(58/62), the total effective rate of the control group was 70.97%(44/62), the total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than the control group (P <0.05)).After treatment, the visual acuity of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group, the total gray value of the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05).The peak systolic velocity and end diastolic velocity in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The resistance index and pulsatility index in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Compound Xueshuantong capsule is effective in the treatment of glaucomatous optic atrophy , can improve the ocular hemodynamics and improve the visual function.
8.Clinical value of CT guided transthoracic core needle biopsy in diagnosis of pulmonary peripheral lesions

Objective To assess the clinical diagnostic value of CT guided transthoracic core needle biopsy (TNB) in patients with pulmonary peripheral lesions. Methods The pathological findings, follow up results, mass size, complications due to paracentesis, and other examination results in 223 patients with pulmonary peripheral lesions undergoing TNB were analyzed retrospectively. Results The positive predictive value of malignant lesions was 100%. False negative was found in 3 cases. There was no false positive of malignant lesions in all the cases. The sensitivity and specificity were 93.6% and 100%, respectively. The negative predictive value of benign lesions was 94.8%. There was no significant difference in the satisfaction rate of multiple biopsy between the large and small nodules. The satisfaction rate of a single biopsy of the large nodule was significantly better than that of the small nodule ( P

Lack of overall evaluation on the occupational ability of students existed in the national rehabilitation therapy education.And the students faced the problems such as difficulty in relating the theory with the practice and poor practical ability during the clinical internships.Objective structured clinical examination (OSCE), an objective evaluation method, which could be used as reference, could be adopted to simulate the clinical scene to test students' clinical skills.
10.Prevention and Treatment Effect of Yiqi Huoxue Fang on Deep Venous Thrombosis

Objective To explore the intervention mechanism of Yiqi Huoxue Fang on deep venous thrombosis ( DVT) of rabbit model,by observing its effects on serum t-PA and PAI-1,D-D,NO,CRP,PT,blood rheology and vascular pathology. Methods Fifty New Zealand rabbits were randomly selected.Ten rabbits were served as blank control group.DVT animal models were established in the remaining 40 rabbits, which were randomly divided into model control group, Yiqi Fang group, Huoxue Fang group and Yiqi Huoxue Fang group (n=10 each group).The changes of serum t-PA,PAI-1,D-D,NO,CRP,PT and pathological changes of blood vessel were observed after 7-days treatment. Results As compared with the blank control group, the serum t-PA,PAI-1,D-D,CRP and PT were significantly increased in the model control group,Yiqi Fang group,Huoxue Fang group and Yiqi Huoxue Fang group (all P<0.01); NO was decreased (P<0.01 or P<0.05 in model control group,Yiqi Fang group and Huoxue Fang group;P>0.05 in Yiqi Huoxue Fang group vs.the blank control group).As compared with model control group,the serum t-PA,NO,D-D increased,PAI-1 and CRP value reduced in Yiqi Huoxue Fang group and Huoxue fang group (P<0.01 or P<0.05).As compared with Yiqi Huoxue Fang group,serum t-PA in both Yiqi Fang group and Huoxue Fang group was significantly lower (P<0.01 and P<0.05) ,other indexes were significantly higher than that in Yiqi Huoxue Fang group (serum PAI-1,P<0.01 in Yiqi Fang group;NO and D-D,P<0.01 or P<0.05 in Yiqi Fang group;CRP value,P<0.01).Vascular pathology showed that blood vessels,especially vascular endothelia,of Yiqi Huoxue Fang group were most slightly injured,with slightest infiltration of inflammatory cells. Conclusion Yiqi Huoxue Fang can prevent DVT through regulating t-PA and PAI-1,keeping the fibrinolytic system function at a relatively high level,protecting vascular intima and relieving the inflammation in venous thrombosis.
