Objective The objective of this study was to investigate a risk of prostate cancer(PCa) at a repeat biopsy in patients with chronic prostate inflammation and widespread high grade prostatic intra epithelial neoplasia(wHGPIN).Methods From July 2006 to December 2014,172 cases of prostate biopsy were collected. All of them were diagnosed as HGPIN for the first biopsy, punctured by transrectal ultrasound for 12 points. After the first puncture for 6 months, patients were punctured for rebiopsy.Multi-focal wHGPIN was defined as a high -grade prostate intraepithelial neoplasia with 2 or more cores detection in a prostate biopsy.Isolated HGPIN was defined as a high-grade prostate intraepithelial neoplasia with only one core detection in a prostate biopsy. Results Seventy-two patients with HGPIN were isolated from primary HGPIN,102 patients with isolated HGPIN,17 patients with chronic prostatitis,70 with multifocal HGPIN and 54 with chronic prostatitis.Forth-eight of 172 patients initial diagnosis of HGPIN was diagnosed as PCa at rebiopsy. The detection rate of wHGPIN was 52.86% (37/70)and isolated HGPIN for 10.88% (11/102).They showed a statistically difference between two groups(P <0.001).The detection rate of PCa in HGPIN patients with chronic prostatitis was higher than that in patients without chronic prostatitis(P =0.011).Chronic prostatitis and multifocal wHGPIN were a risk factor for prostate cancer independent by rebiopsy, confirmed by the logistic regression model. Conclusion Rebiopsy is a high risk factor of prostate adenocarcinoma for patients with chronic prostatitis and multifocal HGPIN initially diagnosed by the first biopsy. Therefore, these patients are recommended under ultrasound induced by rectal prostate rebiopsy.

An iodine analysis instrument with sequential injection of urine samples was developed. A method for measurement of urine iodine was also developed by combining sequential injection and catalysis kinetics, and making use of catalysis facilitation of the iodine in the redox reaction of As~(3+) and Ce~(4+) . The sequential injection and stopped-flow stabilization determination were made possible by the program-controlled injector with controlled flow rate and the 16-hole program-controlled selection valves. The arsenic-cerium reaction with iodine-catalyzed at constant temperature state might proceed with the constant temperature flow cell. Using the syringes with program-controlled velocity, pushing and suction,Using the digital connected circuit and micro-iodine determination software, the reaction temperature of (32.0±0.1)℃,injection time of 45 s,stabilization time of 60 s,detection time of 20 s,injection volume of 400μL,linear range of 15 -600μg/L,detecting limitation of 5.01 μg/L(n=11) and recovery rate of 94. 1 % - 105. 1 % were obtained. With this method, the detecting result of the National Standard Reference (GBW09109 and GBW09110) materials was within a given standard range. Through this method, the detecting results had no significant differences comparing with those by standard method of National Health Service(P >0.05).

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of aerobic exercise on genome expression in human skeletal muscle. METHODS: Six healthy sedentary elderly men aged (66+9) years were selected from military cadre retirement centers and after exercise. Testing indices included height, weight, vital capacity, step index and maximal oxygen uptake. Needle biopsies were obtained from the skeletal muscle before and after the last training. Total RNA extracted from the samples was hybridized to Affymetrix U 133A platform, the gene expression datum was analyzed.RESULTS: Aerobic exercise was shown to improve cardiorespiratory function and reduce body fat of elder subjects. It could alter the genome expression in human skeletal muscle, the number of genes that passed filtering criteria was 725. The most differently expressed genes (n=20) were investigated in this study, in which there were 3 upregulated and 17 downregulated. According to gene function annotations, the differential genes were classified into 8 categories which concerned cellular component and biological process, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) searching showed 4 genes' metabolism pathway. CONCLUSION: Systematic aerobic exercise upregulates expression of enzyme genes concerning tricarboxylic acid cycle, and downregulates expression of genes conceming muscle protein synthesis and sphingolipid. It is suggested that aerobic exercise is good to protect human nerves' integrity, exerts positive action on anti-aging and accelerate the aerobic metabolism of lipid materials in vivo.

OBJECTIVETo explore the secondary correction demand rule for unilateral cleft lip patients.
METHODSThe population in parts of Henan province were investigated by census method. The unilateral cleft lip patients underwent the primary correction were selected and be photographed, and 100 patients were selected randomly into study. The subjective satisfaction for the patients' facial appearance was evaluated by three groups: Professional group(cleft lip and palate specialist), non-professional group (the hospital administrative staff), and family members of patients group. The facial symmetry rate was measured for the patients with consistent subjective evaluation.
RESULTSThe rate of facial symmetry and subjective evaluation was not convergence. The subjective evaluation disaffect rates of profes-sional and non-professional groups were higher than that in family members of patients group (P<0.05).
CONCLUSIONThe rate of facial symmetry is not the most suitable method to evaluate the demand of the secondary correction for unilateral cleft lip patients.

Paracetamol was used as a model drug in this study to investigate the synergetic effects of lipid coating and beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD) inclusion for masking the bitter taste of poorly soluble drugs. To control the concentration as low as possible of the free drug which produced a bitter taste, a kinetic model was established to calculate the drug distribution theoretically among the free drug in medium, lipid coated particles and molecular inclusion on the basis of the preparation and characterization of the lipid microspheres, so as to select the proper amount of beta-CD. Finally, the synergetic drug delivery systems were prepared and characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR), molecular simulation and the electronic tongue. As a result, the drug release rate constant (k) of the lipid microspheres coated with octadecanol was determined as 0.001 270 s(-1). Then, the synergetic drug delivery systems were prepared with the ratio of 6.74 : 1 (w/w) for beta-CD and paracetamol. The chemical shift values for the fingerprint peaks of paracetamol all increased and hydrogen bonds were formed between the oxygen on the phenolic hydroxyl group, the nitrogen on the imino in paracetamol and the hydrogens on the hydroxyl groups in beta-CD. The results tested by the electronic tongue indicated that the paracetamol, lipid microspheres, beta-CD inclusion and their mixture showed different taste characteristics, with the bitterness order of the synergetic drug delivery systems approximately lipid microspheres < beta-CD inclusion < paracetamol, which confirmed the synergetic taste masking effects of lipid coating and beta-CD molecular inclusion. In summary, the synergetic taste masking was jointly achieved through the retard of the drug release by the lipid coating and the inclusion of the free paracetamol by beta-CD through hydrogen bonds.

OBJECTIVE To explore the genetic basis for a family affected with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome (PJS). METHODS Genomic DNA was extracted from peripheral blood and oral swab samples from the patient and her relatives. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) was used to analyze 106 target genes by capturing the exons and adjacent intronic regions. Suspected pathogenic mutation was verified by NGS. RESULTS A missense STK11 mutation was detected in the proband, which was not reported previously. The mutation has caused substitution of Leucine by Proline. NGS has detected the same mutation in the mother but not among other relatives. CONCLUSION This hereditary case of PJS may be attributed to the missense mutation of the STK11 gene.
