1.Latest progress on diagnosis and treatment of glenohumeral instability.
China Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology 2014;27(2):172-176
As a common and frequently-occurring disease, glenohumeral instability is become one of disease which restrict upper limb activity. The diagnosis of this disease is easy, but it is very difficult to assess the degree of periarticular soft tissue injuries. With the development of magnetic resonance imaging and arthroscopy, MRA become the gold standard for evaluation of glenoid labrum, joint capsule and ligaments injury. The traditional manual reduction is a fast, simple method, but often can cause adverse consequences, such as rotator cuff tear, ligament relaxation, and habitual dislocation. Open operation can rebuild stability of joint, but with many new treatment methods, especially the arthroscopic reconstruction has gradually replaced the open operation, and become the mainstream trend, but for the long-term effect of capsular tightening surgery, rotator cuff gap closure is not clear,it is need further follow-up observation.

Result Among the 9 factors of SCL - 90, scores of somatization, obsessive - compulsive, interpersonal relationship, depression, anxiety and phobic anxiety factors were significanly higher than that of normal controls. After treatment, the scores of somatization, depression, anxiety and phobic anxiety were statistically reduced. Patient- reported improvement efficacy was 84. 38%.Conclusion Adequate drug therapy together with supportive psychotherapy has reliable efficacy on patients with cardiac neurosis.
5.MedDRA and its applications in statistical analysis of adverse events.
Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica 2015;50(11):1396-1401
Safety assessment in clinical trials is dependent on an in-depth analysis of the adverse events to a great extent. However, there are difficulties in summary classification, data management and statistical analysis of the adverse events because of the different expressions on the same adverse events caused by regional, linguistic, ethnic, cultural and other differences. In order to ensure the normative expressions, it's necessary to standardize the terms in recording the adverse events. MedDRA (medical dictionary for regulatory activities) has been widely recommended and applied in the world as a powerful support for the adverse events reporting in clinical trials. In this paper, the development history, applicable scope, hierarchy structure, encoding term selection and standardized query strategies of the MedDRA is introduced. Furthermore, the practical process of adverse events encoding with MedDRA is proposed. Finally, the framework of statistical analysis about adverse events is discussed.

ObjectiveTo observe the effects of catalpol, the effective component of Rehmanniae Radix, on atrionector cell apoptosis andβ-tubulin in vitro rabbit injured by simulated ischemia reperfusion; To explore the mechanism of treating sick sinus syndrome.MethodsAtrionector cells were collected from newborn rabbits. Cells were divided into 5 groups:normal group, model group, catalpol high, medium and low dose groups. Anoxia and aglycaemia were established to simulate ischemia. Atrionector cellular damage models were established by recovering the supply of oxygen and sugar. Normal control group and model group were given the same volume of culture medium, while catalpol high, medium and low dose groups were given medicine with relevant concentrations (100, 20, 10μg/mL, respectively). ELISA, FCM, laser scanning confocal microscopy were used to observe apoptosis rate andβ-tubulin of atrionector in each group. Results Apoptosis rate of the model group was obviously higher than the normal group (P<0.01), andβ-tubulin cleavage was obvious. Apoptosis rate in catalpol high, medium and low dose groups were significantly lower than that of the model group (P<0.01);β-tubulin structure were significantly more complete compared with the model group;the fluorescence intensity was significantly higher than that of model group (P<0.01).Conclusion Catalpol can inhibit atrionector cellular apoptosis caused by simulated ischemia reperfusion. Its protective effects on atrionectorβ-tubulin may be the mechanism of the treatment of Rehmanniae Radix for sick sinus syndrome.
