11 plant pathogenic strains were isolated from the crown gall of Japanese cherry (Prunus xyroloensis)in Japanese cherry growing areas, such as Chixing. fenhua and Shenzhou counties of Zhejiang province. Ten ofthem were identified as Agrobacterium tumefaciens biotype 1 based on their morphological. physiological andbiochemical characterizations and bacterial protein SDS-PAGE test. The plate antagonistic assay and the potbiocontrol test indicated that the isolated strains of A tumefaciens biotype 1 were sensitive to the well-knownantagonistic bacterium , K84 strain. The K84 strain could inhabit the tumor production by the pathogenic satins.

Objective To investigate the effect of celecoxib on endometrial carcinoma cell HEC-1-B and expression of the COX-2 mRNA.Methods To investigate the inhibition of different concentration Cele- coxib on the growth of human endometrial carcinoma cell HEC-1-B by the method of cell culture and MTT experiments.Detect the changes of expression of the COX-2 mRNA by RT-PCR.Results Celecoxib could effectively inhibit the growth of the HEC-1-B cell in dose and time dependent manner.Celecoxib could inhib- it the expression of the COX-2 mRNA.The inhibition ratio of expression in COX-2 mRNA of 20?mol/L and 50?mol/L Celecoxib is 25.92 % and 50.81% respectively.Conclusion Celecoxib may inhibit the growth of endometrial carcinoma cell by degrading the expression of the COX-2 mRNA.

Accompanying with the development of technological level,optical coherence tomography plays a more and more important role in predicting the surgical outcome for idiopathic macular hole.Preoperative morphologic parameters like minimum diameter,base diameter,maximum height,macular hole index,hole form factor,tractional hole index,macular hole closure index,photoreceptor inner-outer segment junction,cone outer segment tips line,central subfield retinal thickness and macular hole inner opening diameter were proved correlated to postoperative visual acuity and anatomical results.It has important application value to know these predictors to judge the surgical outcome and deepen understanding of idiopathic macular hole.

OBJECTIVETo explore clinical efficacy and key matters for the treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture and integrity of lateral trochanteric wall by proximal frmoral nail antirotation (PFNA).

METHODSFrom June 2010 to December 2012,210 femoral intertrochanteric fracture patients treated with PFNA were retrospectively analyzed, including 76 males and 134 females aged from 46 to 96 years old with an average of 71 years old. All fracture were caused by injury and classified to type I (5 cases) type II (16 cases), type III (73 cases) and type IV (116 cases) according to Evans classification. The time of getting out of bed, postoperative complications and displacement of screw blade and fracture healing were observed, Baumgaertner criteria were used to evaluate quality of fracture reduction, Harris criteria were used to evaulate hip joint function.

RESULTSAll incisions were healed at stage I, no complications occurred except incomplete of lateral trochanteric wall patients without reconstruction, other patients could get out of bed with crutches at one week and all patients discharged from hospital at 10 days after operation. One hundred and seventy-eight patients were followed up from 3 to 17 months with an average of 10 months. One case occurred unhealed fracture displacement caused by screw blade cutting, 2 cases occurred screw blade transfomed to proximal and out femoral head, other patients obtained fracture healing at 12 to 16 weeks after operation. According to Baumgaertner criteria, 130 cases obtained good results, 45 cases acceptable, and 3 poor; while 107 cases obtained excellent results, 65 good, 3 good and 3 poor according to Harris score.

CONCLUSIONPFNA with mechanical advantage of intramedullary fixation has advantsges of stable fixation, shorter operation time, minimally invasive. Satisfied clinical effects could obtained by grasping fixation principle, dealing with negative factors in operation. Intraoperative reconstruction for integrity of lateral trochanteric wall could assure stable fixation and earlier get out of bed.

Objective To investigate the etiological factors and treatment of thoraco-gastric perforation (TGP) after esophagogastrostomy. Methods Retrospective analysis was carried out in 16 patients with thoraco-gastric perforation after esophagogastrostomy in our department from March 1974 to March 2004. The etiological factor, clinical feature, experiment test and the method of treatment were compared between TGP and patients of thoracic esophageal anastomosis leak (TEAL). Results Thoraco-gastric perforation occurs within 2～5 days postoperatively. Among these 16 cases, in 8, local necrosis of gastric wall was found which was caused by severe contusion and massive ligature. In 5, were penetrative injury of gastric wall caused by suture needle. In 3,unsuitable purse-string suturing of corner of greater or lisser gastric curvature. Hydropneumothorax occurred after thoraco-gastric perforation. Chest fluid was brown and turbid with putrefactive odor. With medium examination, anastomosis was normal, but medium and air bubbles were found outside of the stomach. Perforation were repaired and covered by pedicle tissue-flap in all cases. 15 cases were cured with no sequence. Conclusion TGP after esophagectomy were correlated with technique of surgery. TGP often occurs early after esophagogastrostomy. Transthoracic repairing of TGP should be done as soon as possible. The healing ratio of reparation was about 93.8%.

The effects of ketotifen, cimetidine & erythromycin on thebphy-lline pharmacokinetics in rabbits were studied. The results suggested that the elimination half-life of theophylline decresed from 2.74 ? 0.75 to 2.33 ? 0.56 h & the clearance of theophylline increased from 0.15?0.036 to 0.13 ? 0.047 1/kg?h-1 by ketotifen.The elimination half-life of theophylline increased from 2 .08 ? 0.33 to 2.6l?0.45 h & the clearance decreased from 0.2l?0.03 to 0.16?0.03 1/kg?h-1 by cimetidine.The elimination half-life of theophylline increased from 2.39 ? 0.43 to 3.54?0.89 h & the clearance decreased from 0.15?0.03 to 0.12?0.03 1/kg?h-1 by erythromycin.

Objective To investigate the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) in the diagnosis of small renal cell carcinoma (SRCC) and renal angiomyolipoma (AML) with minimal fat.Methods The images and data of conventional ultrasound (US) and CEUS were retrospectively reviewed in 47 cases of small renal cell carcinoma and 8 cases of AML with minimal fat (d ＜ 30mm),which were confirmed by operation and pathologicall study,including 39 males and 16 females.The mean age of the patients was (54.8 ± 9.8) years old,ranged from 31 to 73 years old.The size,echo,boundary and color flow signals of renal lesions were observed by conventional US.Then the modality and phases of enhancement were observed,including the arrival time,the peak time,the washout time and the appearance of internal structures.Results On contrast-enhanced sonography,fast wash-in and wash-off were observed in most of SRCC,while slow wash-off were observed in most of RAML with minimal fat.The statistically significant differences were found between SRCC and RAML with minimal fat in the values of TFP (time a to peak) and PI (peak-intensity).The occurrence of round pseudo-capsule and contrast-enhancement characteristics in SRCC was far more often than RAML with minimal fat.Conclusions Contrast-enhanced sonography combined with time-intensity analysis provides more useful information for the diagnosis of SRCC and AML with minimal fat.

ObjectiveTo compare the mRNA and protein expression levels ofγ-aminobutyric acid receptor B2 ( GABABR2 ) in brain regions of male rats with high level aggressive behaviors and low level aggressive behaviors respectively,and provide clues for exploring mechanism of GABA in aggressive behaviors.MethodsWistar male rats were randomly divided into two groups:the normal group and the aggressive behavior group.Then social isolation and resident intruder stresses were used to establish high level and low level aggressive behavior in the aggressive behavior group.The mRNA and protein level of GABABR2 in parietal cortex,prefrontal cortex,hypothalamus and hippocampus of the three groups rats ( n=10 in each group) were detected using RT-PCR and Western blot respectively.ResultsThe GABABRB22 RT-PCR/Western blot relative integrated optical density of parietal cortex,prefrontal cortex,hypothalamus and hippocampus in the normal group rats respectively were.Those of the above four brain regions in high aggressive behavior group rats respectively were ( 0.507 ± 0.049/0.626 ±0.038 ),(0.609 ± 0.049/0.652 ± 0.010 ),( 0.359 ± 0.030/0.731 ± 0.044 ) and ( 0.296 ± 0.054/0.452 ±0.079) were significantly lower (P＜0.05) compared with the normal group rats.In the low aggressive behavior group rats,the GABABRB2 RT-PCR/Western blot relative integrated optical density of parietal cortex and hippocampus increased statistically(P＜ 0.05 ),while those of prefrontal cortex and hypothalamus decreased obviously (P ＜ 0.05 ).all in comparison with the normal group rats.Conclusion Different expression levels of GABABR2 in parietal cortex,prefrontal cortex,hypothalamus and hippocampus are relative to aggressive behaviors,which might be one of the mechanism for GABA in aggressive behaviors.

With the implementation of GMP in pharmaceutical industry and enhanced drug administration, lots of problems were exposed. The scale of hospital preparation was decreasing year by year, though it still stayed at a predominate position in hospital works currently.

With the increasing frequency of international exchanges and cooperations,students from foreign countries,such as India and Pakistan,have come to our country for their higher degree education.We studied retrospectively and explored the teaching methods of Histology in English,and further provide our thoughts and viewpoints on improving the teaching qualities of foreign students.
