Brachytherapy has become an important treatment for soft tissue sarcoma by its unique radio-biology and radiation physics characteristics, the treatment time is divided in accordance with preoperative brachytherapy, intraoperative brachytherapy, postoperative brachytherapy, brachytherapy alone, which in im-proving the rate of limb preservation and local control rate sarcoma has played an important role. However, the timing of treatment, treatment modalities, the choice of implantation dose is still in dispute.
2.The influence of triamcinolone acetonide on the expression of pigment epithelium-derived factor

ObjectiveTo observe the influence of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) on the expression of pigment epithelium-derived factor (PEDF) of human retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells. Methods Cultured human RPE cells (4th - 6th generations) were treated with four different concentrations of TA (40, 400, 4× 103 and 4× 104 μg/L) for three different periods (12 or 24 or 48 hours), the levels of PEDF protein in the cell culture supernatant and cell lysates were determined by Western blot. After the initial experiment, RPE cells were treated with or without tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α, 20 ng/ml) for 24 hours, followed by TA (400 μg/L) treatment. The levels of PEDF and phospho-p38 mitogen activated protein kinase (p-p38MAPK) protein expression in cell culture supernatant and cell lysates were measured by Western blot. Results TA-treated RPE cells had higher PEDF expression, and 400 μg/L TA group had the highest effect (F= 16.98, P<0. 05). 400μg/L TA treatment for one, six or 24 hours, with or without TNF-α pretreatment, could all promote the PEDF expression and inhibit the p-p38MAPK protein expression (F= 16.87, 10.28; P<0. 01). TNF-α pretreatment alone could inhibit PEDF protein expression and promote p-p38MAPK protein expression (F= 16.87, 10. 28; P<0. 01). Conclusions TA can up-regulate the expression of PEDF, and down-regulate the expression of p-p38MAPK in the cultured human RPE cells.

9.Determination of Cinnamaldehyde Content in Qianzheng Plaster by Thin Layer Chromatography Scanning Method

Objective To establish a thin layer chromatography scanning method for the determination of cinnamaldehyde content in Qianzheng Plaster.Method Cinnamaldehyde was extracted from Qianzheng Plaster by distillation method.Silica G was used as the thin-layer plate;petroleum ether (60~90℃) and acetic ethyl acetate (17 ∶3)served as the mobile phase and the scanning wavelength was 269 nm.Results A good linearity was obtained in the range of 0.81?g~4.05 ?g (r=0.9993).The mean recovery rate was 95.23 %and RSD=1.39 %.Conclusion This method is accurate and sensitive with good reproducibility.
10.Investigation of integrin ?_5 and integrin ?_3 in endometriosis

Objective:To study the expression of integrin ?_5,?_3 in eutopic endometrium and ectopic endometrium of endometriosis. Methods:Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) method was utilized to detect and quantitate integrin ?_5,?_3 mRNA expression levels in eutopic and ectopic endometrial tissues from 18 patients with endometriosis and the endometrial tissues from 18 non-endometriosis women.Serum concentration of estradiol(E_2),progesterone(P) and CA125 were measured by radioimmunoassay.AFS-r marking was used to describe the state of pelvic cavity during operation. Results:Various levels of positive expression of integrin subunits ?_5,?_3 were shown in both eutopic and ectopic endometrial tissues of endometriosis and the endometrium of non-endometriosis.The expressions of integrin ?_5 mRNA in eutopic endometrium,ectopic endometrium of endometriosis group and endometrium of control group were as 0.773?0.113,1.077?0.032,0.924?0.120,respectively.(Among) the groups,the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Both CA125 level and AFS-r were positively correlated with integrin ?_5,?_3(P
