Objective:To observe the expression of Clusterin in colorectal cancer tissues and study its relationship with the development and progression of colorectal cancer.Methods:Fifty-eight colorectal cancer tissues samples(32 rectal cancer tissues,26 colon carcinoma tissues) of patients with completed clinic data were obtained after surgery from the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical College.Immunohistochemical staining(SP method) was used to detect the expression of Clusterin in colorectal cancer tissue,adjacent normal tissue of colorectal cancer and normal tissue.Flow cytometry was used to examine the apoptosis of colorectal cancer cells.Results:The expression of Clusterin in colorectal cancer tissues was significantly higher than those in the adjacent tissues of colorectal cancer and normal colorectal tissue(P

Objective To study the method for preparing the polyamine cotton fiber loaded with Cu2+ and to test the antibacterial effect of the cotton fiber. Methods The natural cotton fiber was treated through basification, epoxygenation, alkene amination and Cu2+ adsorption. 8 kinds of microorganisms were used for the bacteriostasis test. Results The modified fibers showed a good antimicrobial effect to gram-negative bacteria and the bacteriostasis value achieved 6. The minimal sterilization concentrations of the Cu2+-diethylene triamine cotton fiber, Cu2+-triethylene tetramine cotton fiber and Cu2+-tetraethylene pentamine cotton fiber were 12 mg/ml, 14 mg/ml and 10 mg/ml respectively. The antibacterial process of the cotton fiber included two parts, adsorption and sterilization. The acting site was on the cell membrane. A positive relationship was seen between the concentration of antibacterial cotton fiber and the dissolved rate of bacteria. Conclusion The metal ion fiber shows an excellent performance of broad-spectrum antibacterial effect, especially to gram-negative bacteria and may be the "contact killing" is the acting manner of the antibacterial cotton fiber.

OBJECTIVE To discuss the mycology characteristic of two strains of Rhodotorula glutinis causing infection in ICU,and conduct molecular biological identification and antifungal agent sensitivity experiment.METHODS The methods used included conventional mycology identification and sequencing the ITS region of strains,and the in vitro antifungal agent sensitivity experiment were done by glutinis liquid-based dilution method(M27-A).RESULTS The two strains of R.glutinis were confirmed after mycology identification and sequenced the ITS region of strains.They were both sensitive to amphotericin B and 5-flucytosine,and insensitive to fluconazole,itraconazole and voriconazole.CONCLUSIONS The reasons causing Rh.glutinis infection include catheter related infections,(total parenteral nutrition TPN) and immunosuppressives.Using amphotericin B and removing intravenous catheter can be the first choices in the treatment of Rh.glutinis infection.Azole shows insensitive to Rh.glutinis in the in vitro antifungal agent sensitivity experiment,therefore it should be used very carefully.

Objective To analyze morbidity,mortality and epidemiological characteristics of epidemic encephalitis B (Japanese encephalitis) from 2002 to 2013 in Zunyi.Methods The descriptive and statistical analysis of the incidence and death of epidemic encephalitis B from 2002 to 2013 in Zunyi was carried out.Results The morbidity and mortality were on a downward trend of epidemic encephalitis B in Zunyi from 2002 to 2013;most of the death and incidence cases occurred in July and August from children living scattered and students under age 15;after immunization expansion,the incidence of encephalitis B showed significant differences between ages,occupations,and time points (P<0.05);in the regional distribution of epidemic encephalitis B,incidence and mortality had significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Promising results might be generally obtained after expansion of encephalitis B immunization.However,there is a tendency of shifting back in terms of onset age and month.Therefore,comprehensive prevention measures should be implemented according to the epidemiological features of epidemic encephalitis B.

Traditional sample entropy fails to quantify inherent long-range dependencies among real data. Multiscale sample entropy (MSE) can detect intrinsic correlations in data, but it is usually used in univariate data. To generalize this method for multichannel data, we introduced multivariate multiscale entropy into multiscale signals as a reflection of the nonlinear dynamic correlation. But traditional multivariate multiscale entropy has a large quantity of computation and costs a large period of time and space for more channel system, so that it can not reflect the correlation between variables timely and accurately. In this paper, therefore, an improved multivariate multiscale entropy embeds on all variables at the same time, instead of embedding on a single variable as in the traditional methods, to solve the memory overflow while the number of channels rise, and it is more suitable for the actual multivariate signal analysis. The method was tested in simulation data and Bonn epilepsy dataset. The simulation results showed that the proposed method had a good performance to distinguish correlation data. Bonn epilepsy dataset experiment also showed that the method had a better classification accuracy among the five data set, especially with an accuracy of 100% for data collection of Z and S.

Objective To determine the relationship between subclinical hypothyroidism and asymptomatic myocardial ischemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods All of 399 asymptomatic subjects who underwent coronary CT angiography with type 2 diabetes mellitus but without thyroid disease were enrolled retrospectively.Totally patients were divided into subclinical hypothyroidism group (17 patients,type 2 diabetes mellitus with subclinical hypothyroidism) and euthyroid group(382 patients,type 2 diabetes mellitus with normal thyroid function).Results The incidence of subclinical hypothyroidism in type 2 diabetes mellitus was 4.3％(17/399).The ratio of male and smoking in subclinical hypothyroidism group was significantly lower than that in euthyroid group (3/17 vs.194/382,P =0.007;2/17 vs.136/382,P =0.043).The incidence of asymptomatic myocardial ischemia in subclinical hypothyroidism group was 5 cases and in euthyroid group was 130 cases,and there was no significant difference(P=0.694).The age,course of type 2 diabetes mellitus,level of glycosylated hemoglobin and low density lipoprotein cholesterol between two groups had no significant difference(P＞ 0.05).Conclusion Subclinical hypothyroidism is not an independent risk factor for asymptomatic myocardial ischemia in type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Objective To investigate the interventional effect of multidimensional strategy to reduce the incidence of neonatal ventilator-associated pneumonia.Methods The patients who were admitted to the NICU department and received mechanical ventilation (MV) for more than 48 hours from October 2012 to September 2014 were recruited. The control group received the experienced interventions from October 2012 to September 2013, neonates from October 2013 to September 2014 were recruited as the intervention group receiving multidimensional controlling strategy, including bundle care, education, pro-cess and outcome surveillance and feedback on the practices. The compliance of before-after implementation of interventions were quantitatively evaluated,and the rate of VAP was compared between the two groups.Results The compliance rate of hand hygiene and the qualiifed rate of sputum suction, oral care, drain condensation from ventilator circuit, semi-recumbent posi-tion, and preventing of stress-ulcers were increased 17.0%, 11.4%, 14.7%, 18.2%, 37.5% and 56.3% respectively after implemen-tation of multidimensional strategy, and had statistical difference (χ2=36.47-294.36,P<0.01). But the qualiifed rate of antibiotic use only was 66.1% in the post-VAP bundle phases, and showed no statistical difference before and after(P>0.05). The VAP rate was 41.7 cases per 1000 MV-days during control group and 19.7 cases per 1000 MV-days during intervention group, had statis-tical signiifcance (P<0.05). But the rate of ventilator application showed no statistical difference between two group (P>0.05). ConclusionThe multidimensional strategy can effectively prevent the incidence of VAP.

Objective To study the influence of early intensive blood pressure (BP) lowering treatment on peri-he?matomal secondary neuronal injury and prognosis after acute intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods A randomised con?trolled trial consisting of 36 consecutive patients within 6 h of intracerebral hemorrhage onset were randomly assigned to intensive BP lowering group and guideline BP lowering group. All patients underwent MR spectroscopy at 72 h and were followed up 90 days. N Acetyl Aspartate/Creatine (NAA/Cr) and lactic acid wave around peri-hematomal at 72 h, neuro?logic function at early stage, and death and/or disability at 90d were compared between these two group. Results Spec?trum lines were obtained from thirty-one patients:14 from intensive BP lowing group and 17 from guideline BP lowering group. There was no significant difference in the percentage declines of NAA/Cr at 72 h between the two groups (13.3%± 4.2% vs. 11.9%± 2.8%, P = 0.308). There was no statistical differences either in neurologic function at 7 d or in death and/or disability at 90 d (P>0.05). Conclusions Early intensive BP-lowering treatment had no role on peri-hematomal secondary neuronal injury and prognosis after acute intracerebral hemorrhage. Further high-quality and large-scale ran?domised controlled trial are necessary to verify this result.
