1.Influence of nursing intervention on insulin resistance and pancreatic β- cell function of patients with diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2012;28(4):7-9
Objective To investigate the influence of nursing intervention on insulin resistance and pancreatic β-cell function of patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods 90 patients with type 2 diabetes treated in our hospital from March to December 2010 were chosen as the research object. All patients were randomly divided into the control group (40 cases)and the intervention group (50 cases). The hospitalized patients in the control group were taken conventional treatment methods for treatment. The patients in the intervention group were given nursing intervention on the basis of conventional therapy. The situation of the change of FBG,2hBG,HbAlc,INS,HOMA-IR,HOMA-β before treatment, before discharge and 6 months after follow-up were compared. The influence of nursing intervention on insulin resistance and pancreatic β-cell function were evaluated comprehensively. Results After treatment for the patients of the two groups, the indicators all improved before discharge.FBG,2hBG,HbAlc and HOMA-IR all decreased significantly, while INS,HOMA- β increased significantly. The improved level of the observation group was more significant. The improved values of the two groups showed significant difference. Conclusions Taking appropriate nursing interventions based on routine treatment for diabetic patients aiming at problems arising in their course of treatment can effectively reduce the patients' insulin resistance and improve β-cell secretory function, and enhance the overall effect.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(21):-
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of multidirectional diffusion weighted image (DWI) and apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC) image in acute brainstem infarction. Methods 24 cases of brainstem infarction included 2 cases in super acute stage,22 cases in acute stage. All cases were performed multidirectional DWI,ADC and T1 WI、T2 WI examination including of 2 cases of midbrain,21 cases of pons and 1 case of medulla. All of them were accompanied with infarction of other location. Results Among 24 cases there were 13 cases that their lesions displayed clearly and established by transverse T2WI,transverse、coronary or sagittal DWI、ADC and the diagnostic accuracy was 54.2%.In other 9 cases(37.5%) could not display the signal and extent of the lesions, but they could be confirmed by transverse、coronary or sagittal DWI 、ADC.Moreover there were 2 cases(8.3%) who were indicated accurately the diagnosis by coronary、sagittal DWI 、ADC.Conclusion Multidirectional DWI and ADC could show the location of lesions in the lower brainstem so the multidirectional DWI and ADC scan could be an excellent method for the diagnosis of the brainstem infarction.

Purpose:To investigate the expression of oncogene survivin,c-erbB-2 in breast cancer and its prognostic significance. Methods:Detect the expression of survivin,c-erbB-2 in 80 case breast cancer tissues by immunohistochemistry S-P method, analyze its correlation with axillary lymph node metastasis and 5-year disease free survival(DFS).Results:Survivin gene positive expression rate was 68.75%(55/80),c-erbB-2 gene positive expression rate was 36.25%(29/80) in breast cancer tissues, all have positive correlation with the axillary lymph nodes metastasis but negative to 5 years DFS(P0.05);survivin and c-erbB-2 genes expression have positive correlation(P

Aim To investigate the effect on antagonism of benthiactzine and atropine against the function of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors by desensitization of nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. Methods The whole cell recording configuration of patch-clamp technique was used and the cell model was rat SCG neurons. To identify antagonists' antimuscarinic effect, mAchRs mediated IM-inhibition was measured and nicotine and oxotremorine were used. Results After de sensitization of nAChRs,the antimuscarinic effect ofboth benthiactzine and atropine decreased compared to the normal condition. The decreased antimuscarinic effect of benthiactzine was weaker than that of atro-pine. The antimuscarinic effect of both benthiactzine and atropine recovered gradually with the recovery of nAChRs from desensitization. Conclusion Desensiti-zation of nAChRs weakens the antagonists' antimuscarinic effect.
8.The Progress on The Ubiquitin 26S Proteasome Pathway in Plants

China Biotechnology 2006;0(07):-
Selective protein degradation by the ubiquitin 26S proteasome pathway has emerged as a key regulatory mechanism in a wide variety of cellular processes. The ubiquitin/26S proteosome pathway mainly consists of ubiquitin activating enzyme(E1),ubiquitin conjugating enzyme(E2),ubiquitin protein ligase(E3),and 26S proteasome. In an ATP-dependent reaction, uibquitin(Ub) is conjugated to E1,the activated Ub is then transferred to an E2.Finally,the Ub-E2 intermediate delivers the Ub to the target protein by E3 recognition.Polyubiquinated proteins are eventually degraded by the 26S proteasome. In plants, regulated protein degradation by /26S proteasome pathway contributes significantly to development by affecting a wide range of progress, including hormone signaling,photomorphogenesis,self-incompatibility and cell cycle. The recent progress towards understanding the role of the Ub/26S proteasome pathway during plant development was reviewed.

· AIM: To explore the effects of C3F8 tamponade on hypotony on or after primary operation and the prognosis of severe ocular trauma.· METHODS: Twenty-six cases (26 eyes) of severe ocular trauma were treated with pure C3F8 tamponade on or after primary operation. IOP was observed, and the curative effect of C3F8 tamponade was observed on secondary operation with prognosis evaluated.· RESULTS: Hypotony improved in 23 eyes postoperatively,in which 18 eyes with edematous and cloudy cornea, 15 eyes had clear cornea after gas tamponade. Retina was reattached under the gas action in 21 eyes during the secondary operation. Visual acuity improved in 22 eyes, remained unchanged in 3 eyes and decreased in 1 eye during the follow-up of 3-12months.· CONCLUSION: Application of pure C3F8 tamponade on or after primary operation can effectively improve hypotony after severe ocular trauma and benefit a better prognosis.
