Objective To investigate the status of work-family balance,and explore the relationship between work-family balance and well-being of female prison police.Methods 185 female prison police from one of prison of Sichuan province were assessed using the questionnaires of work-family balance ques tionnaire and well-being scale,and the data were analyzed using t test,one-way ANOVA,pearson correlation analysis and logical multiple linear regression analysis.Results The total score of work-family balance was (10.22± 1.32).The dimension score of work-family balance from high to low were:resource sharing(3.44± 0.60),family balance (3.38±0.53) and work balance (3.12±0.60).There was no remarkable difference on work-family balance between stage of age and family monthly income;but work-family balance declined with the increases of marriageable age and working age (F=13.01,8.25,both P＜ 0.01).Work balance,family balance resource sharing,work-family balance had significant positive correlation with well-being and it's dimensions(r=0.15 ～ 0.60,P＜0.05).Regression analysis showed that age,marriageable age had a negative predic tive effect on job satisfaction and emotion satisfaction(β=-0.20,-0.24,both P＜0.01),and work family balance and it's dimensions had a positive predictive effect on well-being(3=0.282～0.679,P＜0.01).Conclusion Work-family balance has a significant predictive effect on well-being of female prison police.

Objective:To study influence study of near and long term survival rate on different resection regions for patients with gastric cancer in M region.Methods:110 patients with M region gastric cancer received treatment in our hospital were divided into observation group(with total gastrectomy) 57 cases and control group (with subtotal gastrectomy) 53 cases,compared with clinical pathology data and radical degree,two groups of patients' operation index,and local recurrence rate and near and long term survival rate in the two groups.Results:Two groups of patients were compared with clinical pathology data and radical degree,the difference was not statistically significant (P＞0.05).The observation group's nearly cutting edge outside distance and lymph nodes were significantly higher than the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).The recurrence rate(3.51％) and recurrence rate (15.79％) of the observation group were significantly less than the control group of 16.98％ and 33.96％,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The 1 and 3 year survival rates of the observation group were compared with the control group,the difference was not statistically significant (P＞0.05).But the 5 year survival rate of the observation group was 57.89％,which was significantly higher than that in the control group of 35.85％,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusions There is no significant difference in the survival rate of total gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer in M region and total gastrectomy,but the long-term survival rate is higher,it is worthy of clinical attention.

Objective To investigate the protective effects of ulinastatin (UTI) on ischemiareperfusion injury of donor lungs,and the possible mechanism.Method Forty male SD rats were randomly divided into two groups:group C as control group and group U as UTI group.In group C donor lungs were antegradely flushed with 20 ml of cold (4 C) low potassium dextron (LPD) solution and 5 ml retrogradely.Meanwhile,in group U,UTI (500 000 U/L) was added in LPD solution and the same doses were used.According to the time after initiation of reperfusion,each group was divided into two subgroups:30 min (subgroup A) and 1 h (subgroup B).Arterial blood samples were collected for blood gas analysis.Lung samples were obtained at the end of reperfusion (30 min or 1 h).Microscopic examination of the donor lungs was conducted.Besides,the pulmonary water index (W/D),tissue malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) content,and mRNA expression of tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a),intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) and interleukin 10 (IL-10) were also measured.Results (1) One h after reperfusion,oxygenation index in group U was higher than that in group C (P =0.025) ; (2) The levels of W/D in subgroup A and subgroup B of group U were decreased as compared with group C (P =0.005 and P =0.006) ; (3)The microscopic changes of donor lung tissues in group U were lessen than in group C; (4) In subgroup A of group U,MDA content was decreased (P=0.039),and SOD content was increased (P=0.035),and similar results could be observed in subgroup B of group U (P =0.006 and P =0.030 respectively); (5) As compared with group C,the mRNA expression of TNF-α in group U was decreased at the time of 30 min after reperfusion (P =0.000),but no significant change was found at the time of 1 h (P =0.139).The mRNA expression of ICAM-1 was not decreased evidently at the time of 30 min (P=0.062),but significantly decreased at the time of 1 h (P=0.001).The mRNA expression of IL-10 was increased in subgroups A and B (P =0.004 and P =0.000 respectively).Conclusion This study demonstrated that UTI had protective effects of reducing ischemia-reperfusion injury on the donor lungs after lung transplantation in rat non-heart beating donor models.

OBJECTIVE:To study the improvement effects of baicalein against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)injury in rats. METHODS:I/R injury model was induced by Langendorff method. Isolated heart of 40 rats were randomly divided into nor-mal group(continuous perfusion),model group(perfusion withdrawal 20 min)and baicalein high,medium and low concentration groups (K-H solution of baicalein 40,10 and 2.5 μmol/ml 10 min before perfusion withdrawal). The myocardial infarction rate, the activity of creatine kinase(CK)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)in coronary effluent liquid,SOD activity and MDA content, GSH/GSSG and apoptosis rate of cardiac muscle cell in myocardial tissue were detected. RESULTS:Compared with normal group, the myocardial infarction rate,apoptosis rate of cardiac muscle cell,the activities of CK and LDH and the content of MDA in myo-cardial tissue were increased in model group,while SOD activity and GSH/GSSG of myocardial tissue decreased(P<0.01). Com-pared with model group,the isolated myocardial infarction rate and the activities of CK and LDH in baicalein low and medium con-centration groups decreased,while SOD activity increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01);apoptosis rate of cardiac muscle cell and the con-tent MDA of myocardial tissue decreased significantly in medium concentration group,while GSH/GSSG increased (P<0.05 or P<0.01);those indicators had no significant change in high concentration group(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Baicalein has cer-tain improvement effect on myocardial I/R injury in rats,and its mechanism may be associated with antioxidant and anti-apoptosis effect of baicalein.

Objective To review retrospectively our experience of the diagnosis and surgical treatment in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm(AAA).Methods The diagnosis and surgical treatment in 72 patients 〔62 men, 10 women; mean age (67.5?9.3) years)〕 with AAA from January 1995 to February 2004 were analyzed. Fifty eight patients with infrarenal AAA and 2 patients with suprarenal AAA underwent elective graft replacement operation; 12 patients with ruptured AAA underwent urgent graft replacement operation. Results Fifty eight patients with infrarenal AAA and 2 patients with suprarenal AAA were cured and 2 patients with infrarenal AAA died of multiple organ failure after elective graft replacement operation, the 30 day mortality rate in patients with infrarenal AAA after elective operation was 3.45%. Seven patients were cured and 5 patients died of multiple organ failure after urgent graft replacement operation, the 30 day mortality rate was 41.67%. Conclusion The elective graft replacement operation in patients with AAA is a safe and effective surgical approach under the improvement of surgical technique and management of perioperative period.

Objective To present and summarize the data concerning the diagnosis and treatment of popliteal aneurysm in our hospital. Methods The data of popliteal aneurysm in our hospital from 1975 to 2004 were reviewed and analyzed. Eleven patients with 11 diseased limbs were treated, including 8 males and 3 females, age from 21 years to 64 years 〔(48.54?13.66) years〕. The combined diseases include syphilis, rheumatic heart disease and chronic obstructire pulmonary disease etc. Ten patients received operations, including endoaneurysmorrhaphy (n=4) and graft bypass after aneurysmal resection (n=6), through posterior approach (n=7) or medial approach (n=3). One patient, combined with advanced syphilis and heart failure, received conservative treatment because of his poor general condition. Results The common clinical manifestations included popliteal pulsating mass, claudication, difficulty in extension of the knee, pain etc. Acute ischemia occurred in 3 limbs. The diameter of popliteal aneurysms varied from 4-13 cm 〔(6.73?2.69) cm〕. There were 3 (27.3) cases of ruptured aneurysms whose diameters were 7 cm, 7 cm and 11 cm respectively. Special examinations included arteriography and Doppler sonography. Pathological results of these patients were pseudoaneurysm (n=3), syphilitic aneurysm (n=3) and atherosclerotic aneurysm (n=4). Two patients were not followed up, and postoperative follow up of the other 8 patients ranged from 18 months to 30 years. In the group of endoaneurysmorrhaphy, postoperative gangrene of the affected limb occurred in one patient, and above-knee amputation was performed. One patient suffered from intermittent claudication in the group of endoaneurysmorrhaphy and of graft bypass respectively. No manifestations of limb ischemia were found in the other 5 patients during the time of follow up. Conclusion General utilization of Doppler sonography in screening high risk patients might be helpful to detect popliteal aneurysm. For symptomatic popliteal aneurysm or asymptomatic popliteal aneurysm with diameter larger than 3 cm, operation is indicated. Asymptomatic popliteal aneurysms no more than 3 cm in diameter could be monitored with care.

BACKGROUND:Menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cels are proved to be a new type of adult stem cels. To date, little is reported on the methods of establishing this kind of cel lines systematicaly.
OBJECTIVE:To isolate, culture, identify and finaly establish menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cel lines.
METHODS:Menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cels were isolated from the menstrual blood of healthy female donors and cultured accordingly using density gradient centrifugation method. Cel morphology and proliferation characteristics were observed, and proliferative ability was detected by cel counting kit-8 assay. Cels were colected periodicaly for karyotype analysis. Expressions of cel surface antigens such as CD34, CD38, CD44, CD45, CD73, CD90, CD105 and Oct-4 were analyzed using flow cytometry. Cel pluripotency were identified by inducing adipogenesis and osteogenesis in vitro.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:We successfuly established four menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cel lines from the menstrual blood of six healthy volunteers. The cultured cel lines had a typical spindle shape and kept normal 46, XX karyotype. The cels grew rapidly and entered into the logarithmic growth phase at 48 hours after passaging. The results of flow cytometry showed that menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cels were positive for CD44, CD73, CD90, CD105 and Oct-4, while negative for CD38, CD34 and CD45. Menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cels were positive for oil red O staining at 22 days after adipogenic induction and also positive for alizarin red staining at 2 weeks after osteogenetic induction. In conclusion, our study suggests that menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cels with stable karyotype and pluripotency can proliferate quickly, and we can provide a new resource for stem cel therapy and regenerative medicine through establishing the menstrual blood-derived mesenchymal stem cel lines.

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of duloxetine in the treatment of malignant neuropathic pain with depression.Methods 60 patients were randomly divided into two groups as study group(30 cases) and contrdl group(30 cases) and treated for 4 weeks.The patients of study group were treated with duloxetine and oxycontin,and the patients of control group were treated with oxycontin only.Numberical rating scale (NRS) on pain,criteria of pain relief and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD,17 items) score were used to assess the therapeutic effect before and after treatment.Results By the end of the fourth week of treatment,the average usage of oxycontin of the study group was significantly less than control group((45.6±8.5) mg vs (88.2±5.2)mg,P＜0.05).The effective rate of pain relief in the study group was significantly higher than that in control group (93.3％ vs 73.3％,P＜0.05).Comparing pre-treatment,the score of HAMD of the study group had a remarkable decrease ((11.45±4.56) vs (23.07±5.47),P＜0.01).In comparison to the score of control group,study group had a significant effect ((11.45±4.56) vs (18.75±4.21),P＜0.01).Conclusion Duloxetine is one of effective agents in the treatment of malignant neuropathic pain with depression,which can alleviate depression and relieve pain.Duloxetine have mild adverse effects and good tolerance.

Objective This paper aimes to analyze the scientific research development trend,research emphasis and cooperation situation of Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention since its establishment,to provide the suggestions for policy making of scientific management and related decisions.Methods Based on GoPubMed,Literature quantitative analysis was used to analyze the publication time and journal distribution,research topics and core authors of the scientific papers from 2002 to 2015.Results A total number of 4 501 research papers had been published in 576 different kinds of periodicals.Research topics were based on population health with special focus on the epidemiological,microbiological and etiological studies of infectious disease.Chronic non-communicable disease and health research were paying more and more attention to.Core author group and the core research team have been formed.Conclusions The capability to conduct scientific research was increased and the international influence was increasing year by year,the ability of infectious disease control was strengthened,and the scientific research team worked together more closely.Thus,the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention should reinforce scientific management,develop advanced disciplines,as well as improve the quality of scientific research in the future.

Objective To investigate the employment status of higher vocational medical col-lege graduates in Hainan province, analyze the existing employment problems, and put forward some effective suggestions. Methods A questionnaire was applied to survey the employment problems of 1 048 medical graduate in 11 medical related field of Grade 2012. A total of 989 valid questionnaires were collected. The questionnaires covered six aspects including graduates' basic information, their employment intention, access to employment information channel, service and satisfaction about school employment agencies, and employment psychology etc. SPSS 13.0 was used to analyze the statistical numbers in each option and the percentage was calculated. Results Only 22.9%(227/989) of the graduates were willing to accept the provincial employment, 49.1%(486/989) of the graduates obtained employment information channels through the school employment sector; 10.6%(105/989) of gradu-ates expressed dissatisfaction with employment services; graduates' entrepreneurial intention reached 26.9%(267/989); only 19.8% of graduates signed employment agreement, and 25.1%(248/989) of gradu-ates face the employment with anxiety and confusion. Conclusion The higher vocational medi-cal graduates in Hainan provinces need to change their employment concept and school employment guidance needs strengthening to link up the employer position requirements and expectations of grad-uates employment. Besides, the school enrollment professional settings and employment market demand also need to be linked up, to guarantee the system interface between career guidance, internship and training base.
