1.Progression of the FLT3 Inhibitor in acute myeloid leukemia
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2009;18(2):120-123
FLT3, a tyrosine kinase receptor, is the most common mutation in AML and has two classes of mutations: internal tandem duplications in the juxtamembrane domain (FLT3-ITDs) and point mutations in the tyrosine kinase domain (FLT3-TKDs). AML patients with FLT3 mutations tend to have a poor prognosis. As an independent factor, the presences of FLT3 mutations play an important role in the origin and development of AML and have prognostic value. Molecular targeted therapy represents a novel and popular therapeutic approach in the world. In this review, we explain clinical value of the FLT3 mutations, mechanism and research progression of the FLT3 inhibitor;and discuss difficulties and perspectives in the research of the FLT3 inhibitor.
2.PIG7 gene and human diseases
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2006;0(06):-
Apoptosis induced byP53 gene is one of the most important mechanisms of signal integration in cells, which identify the cell injury and start downstream apoptotic signals.PIG7 gene is induced byP53 and correlates with metabolism, inflammation and tumor occurence. Here we reviewed the recent findings in the molecular biology ofPIG7 gene and the correlation with human diseases.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)infection may lead to multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children(MIS-C). MIS-C mostly occurs in older children and adolescents who have laboratory or epidemiological evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection. The clinical manifestations include persistent fever, hypotension, elevated inflammation markers, and symptoms of multiple organ involvement, which is similar to Kawasaki disease.Once the disease occurs, it can progress rapidly and worsen in a short time, and most children require intensive care admission.Although the overall prognosis is good, some patients have adverse results such as death. We should strengthen the monitoring and management of suspected children and improve the level of diagnosis and treatment of the disease.

Objective:To investigate the application effect of the blended teaching model of "intelligent teaching" and "wisdom learning" in the practice teaching of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in internal medicine. Methods:According to the principle of randomization, 54 interns in Class 1 of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the grade of 2019 were selected as control group and received traditional teaching, and 56 interns in Class 2 were selected as observation group and received blended teaching with "intelligent teaching" and "wisdom learning". After 6 months of internship, the two groups were compared in terms of the scores of theoretical assessment (basic theoretical knowledge and professional theoretical knowledge), clinical practice ability [Leicester Assessment Package (LAP)], and degree of satisfaction with teaching. SPSS 17.0 was used to perform the t-test and the chi-square test. Results:At the end of internship, compared with the control group, the observation group had significantly higher score of basic theoretical knowledge (41.53±3.42 vs. 38.71±3.38, P<0.05), score of professional theoretical knowledge (39.49±3.14 vs. 37.85±3.07, P<0.05), LAP score (84.32±6.65 vs. 78.46±6.17, P<0.05), and degree of satisfaction with teaching ( P<0.05). Conclusion:For interns majoring in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the blended teaching model of "intelligent teaching" and "wisdom learning" can strengthen their mastery of theoretical knowledge, enhance their clinical practice ability, and improve their degree of satisfaction with teaching.
