[Objective]To explore the biomechanical effects of preserving the remnants in anterior cruciate ligament(ACL) reconstruction under sealing the bone tunnel.[Method]Twelve skeletally matured New Zealand white rabbits underwent ACL reconstruction with preserving the remnants and sealing the bone tunnels on one knee randomly, the opposite knee was served as the paired control―ACL reconstruction with removing the remnants and sealing the bone tunnels.Rabbits were sacrificed at 12 weeks. The maximum loading of the femur-graft-tibia complexes were determined in 858 Mini BionixⅡtestor, and the rupture site was observed.[Result]The mean maximum load at 12 weeks was (23.46?7.4)N in the preserving remnants group,(18.63?4.26)N in the removing remnants group, the maximum load in the expermental group was 126% of the control. There was significant difference between two groups (t=3.058,P

Objective To discuss the clinical effect and appropriate nursing for wound healing after anorectal operation with ultrasonic atomization in traditional Chinese medicine. Methods A clinical research method for random distribution was conducted. Totals of 120 anorectal surgery cases matched with the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the observation group ( TCM group ) of 60 cases, and the control group ( potassium permanganate group ) of 60 cases. The average disappear time of post-operative symptoms were respectively observed and the number of days of wound healing were respectively recorded between the two groups. Results In the observation group, the average disappear time of post-operative symptoms of pain, edema, cataclysm, hematochezia and the healing time were (8. 20 ± 1. 56), (4. 33 ± 0. 46), (7. 56 ± 1. 38), (3.67 ±1.49) and (14.17 ±1.58)days, which were significantly shorter than those of the control group (t=4. 313, 3. 765, 4. 983, 3. 038, 7. 560, respectively;P<0. 05). The post-operative healing rate of the 7th and 14th day were (53. 66 ± 1. 88)% and (89. 46 ± 2. 13)%, which were significantly higher than those of the control group (t=6. 89, 15. 08, respectively;P<0. 01). In the observation group, 38 cases were significantly effective, 20 cases were effective, and 2 cases had no therapeutic effect, which were significantly better than those of the control group (Z =21. 76, P <0. 01). Conclusions Fumigation with ultrasonic atomization of traditional Chinese medicine can improve post-operative symptoms and promote wound healing after anorectal operation.

The complex pathological mechanism of dry eye involves multiple pathways, such as immunity and inflammation, and requires an integral research program to control the whole picture. Various histological techniques can elucidate the complex physio-pathological state of organisms from a holistic and global perspective, thus providing more comprehensive biological information. Mass spectrometry can sensitively detect the changes of protein content in tear samples, providing convenience for proteomics research of dry eye. At present, proteomics has demonstrated its application in the identification of dry eye types, severity grading, and therapeutic effect evaluation. In addition, proteomics combined with metabolomics and microbiomics can more comprehensively explain the pathogenesis of dry eye. In the future, proteomics is expected to provide more powerful support for the precise diagnosis and treatment of dry eye, taking an advantage in targeted therapy.

Objective:To investigate the necessity of internal fixation of the fibular fracture in the treatment of degree Ⅱ ankle supination-external rotation injury by the Dias-Tachdjian classification in children. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the data of 69 children with ankle fracture (degree Ⅱ ankle supination-external rotation injury by the Dias-Tachdjian classification) who had been treated at Department of Orthopedic Trauma, The People's Hospital of Weifang and Department of Pediatric Orthopedics, Tianjin Hospital from January 2015 to October 2021. There were 41 males and 28 females with an age of (10.1±1.4) years, and 37 left and 32 right sides affected. The patients were divided into 2 groups according to whether internal fixation of the fibular fracture was performed. Group A consisted of 21 cases with fibular internal fixation and group B of 48 cases without fibular internal fixation. The preoperative data, operation time and operation expenses were recorded and compared between the 2 groups. At the last follow-up, the anteroposterior and lateral radiographs of bilateral full length lower limbs and ankle joints were taken; the lateral distal tibial angle (LDTA) and the anterior distal tibial angle (ADTA) on the affected side, and the disparity between bilateral ankle tibiotalar angles were measured; ankle function was assessed according to the ankle-hindfoot score of American Association of Foot and Ankle Surgery (AOFAS); the occurrence of premature physeal closure (PPC) was recorded. Results:There was no significant difference in the preoperative general data between the 2 groups, indicating comparability ( P>0.05). All patients were followed up for (19.5±4.1) months. At the last follow-up, the LDTA on the affected side was 89.6° (87.9°, 90.5°) in group A and 88.6°±1.9° in group B; the ADTA on the affected side was 80.9° (79.0°, 81.4°) in group A and 80.0° (78.6°, 81.2°) in group B; the disparity between bilateral ankle tibiotalar angles was 1.1°±0.5° in group A and 1.2°±0.5° in group B; the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot score was (89.5±5.2) points in group A and 89.0 (87.0, 92.0) points in group B. There was no statistically significant difference between the 2 groups in the above items ( P>0.05). The incidence of PPC was, respectively, 14.3% (3/21) and 14.6% (7/48) in groups A and B, showing no statistically significant difference ( P>0.05). Conclusions:In the treatment of degree Ⅱ ankle supination-external rotation injury in children, internal fixation of the fibular fracture has no significant effect on the imaging angles or the function of the ankle joint. After anatomic reduction of the distal tibia, the fibular fracture can be treated without internal fixation to reduce operational trauma, shorten operation time and reduce operation expenses.

AIM:To investigate the mechanism of reduced tear secretion in depression-related dry eye rats based on 5-HT/TRPV4/AQP5.METHODS:Healthy SD male rats were established with chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)method to establish a depression-induced dry eye model(n=8), and the control group was blank rats(n=8). The ELISA method was used to compare the 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in serum and hippocampal tissue of the two groups, and the HE sections of lacrimal gland and AQP5 immunohistochemistry were observed. Western blot and RT-PCR were used to detect the expression of 5-HT3R, TRPV4 and AQP5 in the lacrimal gland tissue of the two groups of rats.RESULTS:The tear secretion in the depression-induced group was significantly reduced(P=0.001), the serum and hippocampal 5-HT levels were significantly reduced(all P<0.05), the expression of AQP5 antibody in the lacrimal gland immunohistochemistry was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.001), the expression of 5-HT3R, TRPV4 and AQP5 in the lacrimal gland was significantly reduced(all P<0.05), and no obvious inflammatory cells were found in the lacrimal gland tissue sections.CONCLUSION:Depression-related dry eye may occur through a non-inflammatory 5-HT/TRPV4/AQP5 mechanism.
