BACKGROUND: The polarity and the layer-by-layer coating method which are utilized to improve the membrane surface of optical glasses is a new focus for researching in the world. OBJECTIVE: To prepare a stable hydrophilic anti-fogging coating by surface modification. METHODS: Hydrophilic anti-fogging coatings of complexes of polyacrylic acid (PAA), cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) and sodium silicate were fabricated by layer-by-layer coating method. Subsequently, the stable multilayer films were obtained by thermal torrefaction. Then the transmittance, hydrophlicity, and hardness were tested. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: In the wavelength coverage of 200 nm, the transmittance of the anti-fogging coatings was above 92.9%. In the wavelength coverage of 700-800 nm, the transmittance reached 98.1%, suggesting that the membrane had the good transmittance. Water drop dispersed completely after 230 ms when it contacted with the surface of the multilayer films, suggesting that it had the good hydrophilicity. The hardness of stable films structure was 4 H. The layer-by-layer coating method was simple and favorable for preparing the anti-fogging coatings with good product properties including good stability, anti-fogging function and the improved transmittance.

Objective To investigate the regularity of chronopharmacology of bruceolic oil emulsion ( BOE) in treating H22 tumor-bearing mice. Methods The KM mice model bearing H22 hepatocellular carcinoma was established. And then the model mice were divided into groups according to the condition of illumination and medicine intervention. After treatment for 10 days, the tumor-growth inhibitory rate, viscera indexes, and hepatic and renal function indexes were observed. Results Tumor mass and ratio of tumor mass to body mass were decreased in medication groups under the normal and disordered illumination. The tumor mass and ratio in mice treated with BOE before dark phase of normal illumination and disordered illumination, and during the dark phase of disordered illumination differed from those of the model group at the corresponding illumination phase (P<0.05) . Under normal illumination, BOE-treated mice at 10 pm of dark phase had lower liver index but higher thymus index than the model group (P < 0.05) . Under disordered illumination, BOE-treated mice at 7 am of dark phase had higher spleen index than the model group ( P < 0.05) . Conclusion BOE exerts certain inhibition of H22 hepatocellular carcinoma under both normal illumination and disordered illumination, and the effect will be better when medication is given in dark phase period.

AIM and METHODS:To investigate the effect of L-arginine -nitric oxide pathway on patients with essential hypertension via hemodynamics and neuroendocrinology. 24 essential hypertension patients were randomly divided into two groups, group I was given L-Arg, and groups Ⅱ was given normal saline as control. Blood pressure, heart rate, heart funtion, nitric oxide, angiotensinⅡ, endothelin, thromboxane A 2 and prostacyline were measure in all patients. RESULTS: In group Ⅰ arterial pressure decreased, heart rate increased, cardial output, systolic volume and eject fraction increased, total peripheral resistance decreased. NO and PGI 2 levels were inceased. But at 80 min , with NO concentration decreased, SBP,DBP were increased, TPR, FT and AngⅡ were also increased. While HR, CO, SV and EF were decreased. However TXA 2 and PGI 2 showed not much change. CONCLUSION: Exogenous L-arginine produced a vasodilatory effect by increasing NO production ,caused the change of other hemodynamic function . It also indirectly changed plasma ET, AngⅡlevels by negative feed-back and suppressed the accumulation of platelet.
