1.Hospital Internal Comprehensive Financial Evaluation Method

Objective: To estimate the status of the hospital’s financial ability, build evaluation system of hospitals internal comprehensive financial index, provide hospital managers the evidences and references for making decisions. Methods: Factor analysis was performed to provide method of dynamically designing the standard of each evaluation index, divide the financial comprehensive evaluation standard into 9 levels, design relevant standard coefficient, provide weight coefficient of each index objectively. Results: The result of 18 months’ comprehensive financial evaluation for a hospital showed that the hospital’s financial ability was in good shape, while there was still large potential for development. The result is quite consistent with the actual status. Conclusion: The study showed that the hospital internal comprehensive financial evaluation needs a scientific index system. Not only did the evaluation system consider the index of hospital economic profits, but also considered the index of social profits, so as to evaluate the financial ability status of hospital more correctly.
2.Clinical application of exposal of recurrent laryngeal nerve in thyroid surgery

Objective To discuss the exposing methods of recurrent laryngeal nerve(RLN)in thyroid surgery for reducing the nerve injury.Methods We analyzed 267 cases with thyroid tumors retrospectively.In all the cases,RLN were anatomically exposed.Results Of all the cases the injury rate of RLN was,0.38%.Conclusion The anatomic relation of RLN is relatively complicated along its journey;the injury of RLN can be reduced with designed exposal during the thyroid surgery.
3.Research progress of the abnormal expression of Sox genes in breast cancer

Sox gene family is composed of a class of SRY gene,encoding a series of transcription factors.In the ontogeny,sox genes involved in a variety of development,such as sex determination and differentiation,neural development,cartilage formation.In recent years,researchers found that the abnormal expression of sox gene was related with the development of breast cancer,such as,the overexpression of Sox2 and Sox4 was related with breast cancer; Sox7 and Sox17 in breast cancer could act as tumor suppressor gene,the downregulation of which could activate Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway.
4.Specialty and approach for the pregnant with thyroid nodule

5.Advances in diagnosis and treatment of plasma cell mastitis

Plasma cell mastitis,also known as periductal mastitis or mammary duct ectasia,always occurs in young women.Because of It's Complicated and varied clinical manifestations,it is easily misdiagnosed as breast cancer.Early diagnosis and staging helps to avoid unnecessary surgery.At present,There is no unified understanding to this kind of disease.Modern medicine mainly treated it by surgery while Traditional Chinese medicine believes it shoull be treated internally and externally.Complete resection of the lesion and the cosmetic effect is the focus of current research.This article reviews the progress of research in plasma cell mastitis etiology,pathology,diagnosis and treatment.
6.3D finite-element study on displacement of craniofacial complex with retractive forces parallel to the occlusion plane on the maxilla of rhesus monkeys.

OBJECTIVETo construct a 3D finite-element model of the craniofacial complex with the original DICOM data of CT and to investigate the preliminary biomechanical characteristics with different directions and magnitudes of retractive forces to the maxilla of rhesus monkeys.
METHODSA male rhesus monkey with mixed dentition was used. Spiral CT was performed to establish a 3D finite-element model of the craniofacial complex. The ANSYS 12.1 software was used to analyze craniofacial complex displacement.
RESULTSEach landmark showed larger displacement with increasing force value. The displacement values and force size exhibited a linear relationship. In the x-axis direction, all displacements were small. In the y-axis direction, all displacements showed significantly higher changes with increasing force value displacement. In the z-axis direction, the A-point and ANS point moved downward, but PNS moved upward.
CONCLUSIONLoading retractive force resultes in an apparent backward and clockwise rotation on the maxilla with no obvious effects on the width of the upper jaw.

7.Study on the blood CD4~+CD25~+T cells of rats with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis

Objective To study the number changes of blood CD4+CD25+T cells and its significance in rats with experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Methods Wistar rats were induced by guinea pig spinal cord homogenate (GPSCH) to establish EAE models.The number of peripheral blood CD4+CD25+T cells in EAE was detected by flow cytometry and compared with normal rats.The behavior and the pathological changes of brain and spine cord of rats were observed to ascertain EAE model successful.Results The achievement ratio of EAE model was 48.9%.The number of peripheral blood CD4+CD25+T cells of EAE rats( 5.29?4.00) was significantly lower than that in the control group( 12.61?2.24, P
8.Association study of DISC1 gene polymorphism with schizophrenia in southern region of Fujian

Objective To explore the difference of DISC1 gene polymorphism between schizophrenia patients and normal subjects,as well as the association of gene polymorphism with mRNA expression.methods 40 schizophrenia patients and 40 normal subjects were recruited randomly from southern region of Fujian,China.DISC1 mRNA level was assessed by RT-PCR and the genotype was evaluated by sequencing with the amplified PCR products from peripheral blood DNA.Result srs6675281 locus only found CC type,other types were not found.According to the genotyping Result ,the rs821616 locus has AA,AT and TT three types,but the genotype and allele frequency between the two groups were not significantly different (Genotype:x2=0.923,P=0.63;Allele:A>T,x2=0.656,P=0.418).As far as rs11122319 locus,AA,AG and GG three types were found in this study,there was no significant difference between patients and normal controls (Genotype:x2=3.922,P=0.141;Allele:A>G,x2=0.184,P=0.668).Subjects were divided into AA,AG,GG three types based on rs1417584 locus genotyping,however the genotypes and alleles of this locus between the two groups were significant difference (Genotype:x2=6.631,P=0.042;Allele:A>G,x2=4.592,P=0.032),and the DISC1 mRNA expression that corresponding to the genotype AG in patients and normal subjects was significantly different (t=3.916,P=0.004).Conclusion Based on these findings,rs1417584 locus may be implicated the expression and regulation of DISC1 gene,may be a pathogenic factor of schizophrenia and the genotype AG may be corresponding to a higher risk.
9.Sentinel lymph node biopsy in papillary thyroid cancer

Objective To investigate the reliability and feasibility of sentinel lymph node biopsy (SLNB) in papillary thyroid carcinoma ( PTC ) using methylene blue staining techniques.Methods Nineteen patients,older than 45,with PTC were included in the study.No case had clinical evidence of cervical lymph node involvement(cNO).Methylene blue was injected around the tumor during surgery.The stained lymph nodes were dissected.Subtotal thyroidectomy and modified radical neck dissection were performed.Both the bulk specimen and SLN were submitted for routine histology.Results The sentinel lymph nodes( SLN )were identified in 18 cases,with SLN positive in 13 cases.The sensitivity and specificity of SLNB were 86.6% and 94.4% respectively.There was 1 case with SLN metastasis in the lateral neck,and 1 case with positive lymph node and negative SLN.Conclusion SLNB is sensitive in detecting cervical lymph node metastasis and has clinical significance in making operative plans for cN0 PTC.
10.Clinical analysis and significance of residual tumor rate after local resection of thyroid carcinoma

Objective To evaluate the rate of residual tumor after local resection of thyroid carcinoma,and provide theoretical basis to determine the indications for re-operation.Methods The clinical data of 56 patients,who had re-operation in our hospital after local resection of thyroid carcinoma,were summarized.Results As confirmed by pathology,the rate of residual tumor of patients was 42.8% at re-operation.When the tumor was larger than 4 cm,or smaller than 2 cm before the first operation,the residual tumor rate was 80% and 11.1% respectively.The residual tumor rate was 86.3% in patients with tumor invading thyroid capsule,14.7% in patients without capsule invasion,47.6% in patients who had only nodule resection,50% after ipsi-lateral partial lobectomy,and 12.5% after subtotal thyroidectomy.The sensitivity of finding residual tumor by CT and doppler ultrasound examiination before re-operation was 64.0% and 60.0% respectively,and the positive predictive value was 80.0% and 30.0% respectively.Conclusions The rate of residual tumor is high in patients with thyroid cancer operated by local resection.And it′s necessary to re-operation.The condition of tumor before the first operation and CT examination are significant for selection of patients to have re-operation.
