ObjectiveTo study the CT values of certain phantoms scanned by various CT scanners with dissimilar parameters. Methods The CT values of tissue equivalent inserts was measured in the TM164 and CIRS-062 phantom scanned by TOSHIBA AQUILIONTM,SIEMENS SOMATOMTMSENSATIONTM 64 and SIEMENS SOMATOMTM SENSATIONTM OPEN with different voltages, currents and slice thicknesses and then the corresponding CT-to-density curves was compared. Results There are no significant differences of CT values with various currents and slice thicknesses and also for low atom number materials scanned by different scanners with various tube voltages. The CT values of high atom number materials have obvious differences scanned with tube voltage, the maximum is about 400 HU.There are also significant differences between CT-density curves of two phantoms in the range from soft tissues to dense bone, the maximum is up to 500 HU.ConclusionsCT-density curves were highly affected by materials of phantoms, scanners and tube voltages. It is necessary to measure the curve with a comfortable phantom and certain scanner to assure the accuracy for dose calculation for treatment planning system.

Objective:
To investigate the relationship between hope, mental suffering and quality of life in radiotherapy patients with cervical cancer, to provide the basis for the cancer patient′s psychological intervention.
Methods:
A cross-sectional study of 120 cases of radiotherapy cervical cancer patients was conducted, using the psychological distress thermometer, Herth Hope Scale, Life Quality Measurement Scale for patients with cervical cancer to evaluate patients′ hope, quality of life and psychological distress.
Results:
Radiotherapy cervical cancer patients′ psychological distress and hope were negatively correlated (

AIM:To explore the effects of CD38 on lysosome reformation and cholesterol efflux in macro-phages.METHODS:Bone marrow-derived macrophages from low-density lipoprotein(LDL)receptor knockout(LDLr-/-)mice were cultured as cell model.Live cell imaging system was applied to evaluate the effect of nicotinic acid adenine di-nucleotide phosphate(NAADP)on lysosome number.ELISA was conducted to measure NAADP level in macrophages. After the cells were treated with nicotinic acid(NA),RT-qPCR was conducted to detect CD38 mRNA expression, and Western blot was conducted to observe CD38 protein expression and phosphorylated transcription factor EB(TFEB)level.Laser scanning confocal microscopy was applied to evaluate the influence of CD38/NAADP signaling on lysosome number and cholesterol egression.RESULTS:NAADP remarkably increased lysosome number(P<0.05),and this effect was significantly inhibited by NAADP antagonist NED-19,Ca2+ chelator BAPTA,and calcineurin inhibitor CsA(P<0.05).CD38 markedly enhanced NAADP synthesis in macrophages(P<0.05).NAADP synthetic substrate NA prominently ele-vated the expression of CD38 mRNA and protein(P<0.05).NA significantly decreased the phosphorylated TFEB level;this effect was also attenuated by NED-19,BAPTA and CsA(P<0.05).Disrupting CD38/NAADP signaling pathway markedly inhibited NA-induced enhancement of lysosome number, lysosomal free cholesterol and cytosol cholesterol ester efflux in macrophages(P<0.05).NA-induced enhancement of lysosome number, lysosomal free cholesterol and cytosol cholesterol ester efflux abolished in LDLr/CD38 DKO macrophages(P<0.05),whereas these effects induced by NA were recovered after CD38 gene rescue.CONCLUSION:CD38 triggers lysosome reformation via TFEB and consequently pro-motes the efflux of lysosomal free cholesterol and cytosol cholesterol ester.

OBJECTIVE: To analyze chemical components in active fraction of Xiaozhong zhitong lotion, to clarify the material basis of its efficacy, and to provide reference for the second development of ointment preparation. METHODS: UPLC-Q-TOF-MS was adopted to analyze the chemical components of active fraction (40% ethanol elution site separated by D101 macroporous resin) of Xiaozhong zhitong lotion. The determination was performed on Hypersil GOLD aQ C18 column with mobile phase consisted of 0.1% formic acid acetonitrile (A)-0.1% formic acid water (B) (gradient elution) at the flow rate of 0.4 mL/min. The sample size was 4 μL, and the column temperature was 30 ℃. The condition of mass spectrometry was ESI detection in positive and negative scanning ion mode (ESI+/ESI-). The scanning range was 100-2 000 Da. The collision energy was 45/-45 eV, and the energy of the extended collider was 10/15 eV. The accurate molecular weight, retention time and multi-stage fragment ion information of the compounds were collected after obtaining the chromatogram, and the chemical components were identified by comparing with the mass spectrum information of reference materials and references. RESULTS: A total of 48 compounds were identified, and 9 and 39 compounds were identified under ESI+/ESI- ion mode, mainly including 10 phenolic acids, 8 phenylpropanoids, 9 anthraquinones, 3 flavones, 7 alkaloids, 5 tannins and 6 other categories. CONCLUSIONS: UPLC-Q-TOF- MS method is rapid, efficient and accurate for identify chemical components from active fraction of Xiaozhong zhitong lotion. Main chemical components of the active fraction are phenolic acids, phenylpropanoids, anthraquinones, alkaloids and tannins.
