Objective To investigate the effect of Xiexin Decoction(XXD) on the early diabetic nephropathy(DN) of diabetic rats induced by high-fat diet with injection of streptozotocin(STZ).MethodsMale Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into two groups and fed with normal pellet diet(NPD) or high-fat diet(HFD),respectively, for a period of four weeks and then HFD-fed rats were ip injected with STZ.The diabetic rats were divided into three groups: model group,XXD group, and metformin group. After 13-weeks ig administration, fasting blood glucose(FBG),glycated hemoglobin(HbAlc),blood lipids(TG and TC),serum insulin(INS),renal function, kidney index, albumin in urine, and the renal histology and ultrastructure were observed. Results Compared with the model group,XXD reduced the levels of water intake, food consumption, urine volume,HbAlc,insulin resistance index(IRI),creatinine clearance rate(CCr),albumin in urine and blood lipids(P

The gas chromatography method was developed for the determination of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol in poloxamer 188 to provide scientific basis for the quality control. The samples was separated on column VF-17ms(30 m×0. 53 mm, 1. 0 μm)with temperature programming, inlet temperature was 270 °C, detector temperature was 290 °C and the split ratio was 10 ∶1. The method showed great linearity over the range of 6-15 μg/mL(r≥0. 999). The injection precision(n=8)of the three residual impurities were 3. 3%, 3. 0%, 2. 3% and the average recoveries were 99. 05%(RSD=2. 9%, n=9), 102. 20%(RSD=4. 0%, n=9), 101. 91%(RSD=3. 1%, n=9), respectively. The analytical method is specific, accurate and sensitive, which is suitable for the determination of ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol and triethylene glycol in poloxamer 188, providing reference and guidance for the production and quality control of poloxamer 188.

To improve the current quality standards of polysorbate 80 and provide reference recommendations for the revision of the quality standards of polysorbate 80 in the fourth part of China Pharmacopoeia(2015 Edition). A total of 16 batches of polysorbate 80 samples from 6 domestic and foreign production companies were studied, optimize the detection method for some impurities. Adjust the split ratio of the ethylene oxide and dioxane check items, and appropriately increase the concentration of the reference solution solution and change the solvent. In the ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol items, the concentration of the reference solution and the internal standard solution were appropriately increased. The infrared identification and the triethylene glycol check items were added to the quality standards, and we carry out corresponding methodological investigation on the improved method. The results showed that the improved methods had good specificity, precision, linearity and recovery rate. The improved quality standard is more suitable for the detection of polysorbate 80, and can increase the quality standards of polysorbate 80 from safety and standardization.

In recent years, the increasing scale and scope of public health emergencies have brought serious challenges to China's health emergency system. It is in urgent need to develop the existing health emergency system toward the goal of multi-industry, multi-discipline, multi-professional and multi-regional, while the concept of standardization is essential to achieve this goal. This article describes the construction process of health emergency standardization system by the World Health Organization, the International Organization for Standardization, the United States, and China; analyzes the problems of China's health emergency standardization system by comparing the system between China and the United States, proposes the construction dimensions of China's health emergency standard system, and suggests development strategies targeting the shortcomings of China's health emergency standardization.

Objective:To develop and validate gas chromatographic methods for the determination of residual benzene in carbomer copolymer, carbomer homopolymer and carbomer interpolymer,to address the issues of the current method in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia in the actual detection process, such as low sensitivity and poor repeatability of benzene detection in the mixed reference solution, and to optimize and improve the current stand-ards for series of carbomer pharmaceutical excipients. Methods:Samples were separated on a column DB-624(30 m ×0.530 mm,3.00 μm)with temperature programming, the inlet temperature of 140 ℃,the detector tem-perature of 250 ℃,and the split ratio of 5∶1.The external standard method was adopted for the quantitative deter-mination of residual benzene. Results:The linearity was great across the range of 0.04-1.00 μg·mL-1(r=0.996 8),the injection precision of benzene was 6.8%(n=6),and the average recovery rate was 96.89%(RSD=8.1%,n=9).Conclusion:The gas chromatographic method established in this research is more specif-ic,with higher accuracy and precision compared to the current method in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia. This optimized method is more suitable for the determination of residual benzene content in carbomer copolymer,car-bomer homopolymer and carbomer interpolymer, providing reference and guidance for the quality management and the control of carbomer.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of Tanreqing injection combined with Ceftazide on the clinical efficacy, lung function, and laboratory inflammatory index of patients suffering from phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD). MethodFrom June 2021 to June 2023, 76 patients diagnosed with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome in AECOPD were enrolled in the respiratory and critical medical department of Jieshou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group with 38 cases each. The control group used Ceftazidime intravenous drip and other conventional oxygen inhalation and antispasmodic treatment measures of western medicine. The observation group received Tanreqing injection intravenous drip based on the treatment of the control group, with a course of 10 days. The changes of laboratory indicators such as hs-CRP, calcitonin (PCT), and interleukin-6 (IL-6) before and after treatment were analyzed, and the improvement of forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV1), forced vital capacity (FVC), one second rate (FEV1/FVC), assessment and improvement of the British Medical Research Society’s dyspnea index (mMRC), self-evaluation test of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients (CAT), and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score was compared. In addition, the total effective rate between the two groups after treatment was compared. ResultAfter treatment, the hs-CRP, PCT, IL-6, FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC, mMRC, CAT scores, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome evaluation of both groups improved (P<0.01). After treatment, compared with the control group, the observation group showed more significant improvements in hs-CRP, PCT, IL-6, FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC, mMRC, CAT scores, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome evaluation, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05,P<0.01). The total clinical effective rate of the control group was 86.84% (33/38), while that of the observation group was 94.74% (36/38). The therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group (χ2=8.471, P<0.05). ConclusionTanreqing injection combined with Ceftazidime has obvious efficacy in the treatment of phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome in AECOPD, which is better than the treatment of Ceftazidime antibiotics alone. It can reduce the risk of acute exacerbation, alleviate clinical symptoms, and delay the decline of lung function.
