This study is aimed to evaluate the clinical application of the millimeter wave and magnetism light compound therapy. The EHF-98B MMW. RL compound therapy apparatus made in the University of Electronic Technology(Chengdu) was used in 171 patients. The superficial, skin lesions or the visceral reflected skin regions (acupoints) were directly exposed to the light from the apparatus. All the cases were divided into five groups, namely skin mucosa superficial lesions, trauma of the bone and joint soft tissue, surgical incision, ENT infections, and rare intricate diseases. The therapeutic effects observed in the groups were analyzed and evaluated by means of 4 levels. As for the 171 patients, the cure rate was 42.7% (73 patients), the effective rate 25.1%(43 patients), the improvement rate 31%(53 patients), and no effect constituted 1.2%(2 patients). The total effective rate was 98.8%. This therapy was especially effective for treating chronic cervicitis, cervical erosion, soft tissue trauma, surgical incision. Also it was effective for treating some rare intricate diseases, e.g. sterility, vitiligo, Behcet disease. So the millimeter wave and magnetism light compound therapy may find wide clinical applications.

OBJECTIVE: To compare the influence of traditional Chinese compound recipes (TCCRs) with different efficacy on body weight, tumor weight and immune function in H22 cancer-bearing mice. METHODS: H(22) cancer-bearing mice were chosen to observe the effects of TCCRs with different efficacy on tumor growth inhibition and detect the proliferation function of T lymphocytes, the activity of natural killer (NK) cells, the changes of T lymphocytes and the content of interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma)and interleukin-4 (IL-4). RESULTS: Tumor weight of H(22) cancer-bearing mice in Yidu Gongdu Recipe (YDGDR, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine using poison as an antidote for poison)-treated group was obviously lighter than that in the other TCCR-treated groups and the tumor inhibition rate in YDGDR-treated group was 65.76% (P<0.01). The tumor inhibition rates in other TCCR-treated groups were ranged from 10.1% to 17.1% . Body weight of mice in YDGDR-treated group was obviously decreased and depilation was observed at the same time. Pelage of mice in Fuzheng Peiben Recipe (FZPBR, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine for supporting the healthy energy)-treated group grew well, and behavior of the mice was active. Stimulation index (SI) of T lymphocyte transformation in YDGDR-treated group was obviously increased (SI=4.34, P<0.01), which showed the proliferation function of T lymphocyte was very strong. The SI of T lymphocyte transformation in the other groups was less than three, which showed the proliferation function of T lymphocytes was not significant. Compared with normal saline (NS)-treated group, percentages of NK cells in Qinre Jiedu Recipe (QRJDR, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine for clearing away heat and toxic substances)-treated, Huxue Huayu Recipe (HXHYR, a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine for activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis)-treated and YDGDR-treated groups were obviously increased and 5.05, 4.07 and 5.17 times more than the NS-treated group, respectively (P<0.01). The activity of NK cells wasn't increased in the FZPBR-treated and HXHYR-treated groups. The production of IFN-gamma induced by T cells in YDGDR-treated group was obviously raised (P<0.05), and the production of IL-4 induced by T cells in QRJDR-treated, HXHYR-treated, Huatan Sanjie Recipe (a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine for eliminating phlegm and resolving masses)-treated and YDGDR-treated groups was also raised obviously (P<0.01). CONCLUSION: YDGDR has a good effect of inhibiting tumor growth and can reinforce cellular and humoral immune function in tumor-bearing mice. FZPBR can strengthen the body.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanisms of tumor inhibiting and immunoloregulation of Mylabris Mixture on H22 cancer-bearing mice. METHODS: H22 cancer-bearing mice were chosen to observe the effects of tumor inhibiting and detect the proliferation function of T lymphocytes, the toxicity function of NK cells, the changes of T lymphocytes and the contents of interferon-gamma and interleukin-4. RESULTS: Mylabris Mixture could obviously inhibit the growth of H22 cancer in mice, and the tumor inhibition rat was 65.76%. The stimulation index of T lymphocyte transformation and percentage of NK cells in Mylabris Mixture-treated group were obviously higher than those in the normal control group. The subpopulation proportion of T lymphocytes in Mylabris Mixture-treated group was changed more than the normal control group. The production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-4 by T lymphocytes obviously increased in Mylabris Mixture-treated group (P<0.05, P<0.001). CONCLUSION: Mylabris Mixture has the effect of inhibiting the growth of tumor constitution, and regulating immunological function on mice with tumor. Its mechanisms include the reinforcement of T lymphocyte immune function, NK cell killing function and humoral immune function.

Objective To study the effect of Shenfukang Ⅱ on kidney function and TGF-β1/Smads signal pathway with 5/6 nephrectomy model in rats. Methods Thirty SD rats were randomly divided into the sham operation group, model group and Shenfukang group according to a random number table. We used 5/6 nephrectomy to prepare animal models. The rats were given Shenfukang Ⅱ particles 450 mg/(kg?d) gavage, the others group were given equal volume of saline gavage, once a day, continuous 21 days. The rats were given gavage at the 9 th week after operation. The changes of renal function index BUN, SCR and UA of rats in each group were detected 21 days after administration. The expression of TGF-β1, TGFβR1, Smad7, pSmad2, pSmad3 in renal tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. The Smad7, pSmad2 and pSmad3 detected the expression of in renal tissues by Western Blot. Results Compared with the model group, the content of BUN (15.03 ± 2.19 mmol/L vs. 24.30 ± 2.82 mmol/L), SCR (74.22 ± 7.36 μmol/L vs. 93.61 ± 14.73 μmol/L) in Shenfukang group significantly decreased (P<0.05). The expression of TGF-β1, TGFβR1, pSmad2 and pSmad3 significantly decreased in kidney tissue, while the expression of Smad7 significantly increased in kidney tissue. The expression of p-smad2 (0.47 ± 0.03 vs. 0.64 ± 0.04) and p-smad3 (0.43 ± 0.04 vs. 0.55 ± 0.02) significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the expression of Smad7 (0.54 ± 0.03 vs. 0.39 ± 0.02) significantly increased (P<0.05). Conclusions Shenfukang Ⅱ have improved on kidney function with 5/6 nephrectomy model rats. The study revealed that Shenfukang II may play an anti-fibrotic effect on regulating TGF-β1/Smads signaling pathway with 5/6 nephrectomies model.

Objective:To understand the clinical characteristics of pregnant women infected with dengue virus (DENV) in Ruili City, Yunnan Province, so as to provide basis for formulating effective diagnosis and treatment protocol of dengue fever in pregnant women. Methods:A total of 18 pregnant women infected with DENV hospitalized in Ruili People's Hospital in 2017 and 2018 were selected as observation group, and 18 non-pregnant women infected with DENV were selected as control group according to the age range of the observation group, and epidemiological and clinical data of patients in the two groups were retrospectively collected. Epidemiological characteristics, clinical symptoms and laboratory biochemical indexes of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results:There were no significant differences ( t = - 0.032, 0.495, P > 0.05) in age [(27.9 ± 5.3) vs (27.9 ± 5.1) years old] and hospitalization stay [(6.8 ± 1.6) vs (6.6 ± 2.0) d] between the observation group and control group. One pregnant woman in observation group had early pregnancy abortion. Patients of both groups had fever in 18 cases (100.0%), headache, muscle aches, and chills in 14 cases (77.8%), anorexia in 15 cases (83.3%), and nausea and vomiting in 5 cases (27.8%); fatigue in 14 cases (77.8%) and 16 cases (88.9%), respectively; there was 1 case of rash in observation group (5.6%), and no rash in control group. There were no significant differences in the above mentioned clinical symptoms distribution between the two groups ( P > 0.05). On the first day of admission, the reduction proportions in red blood cells [61.1% (11/18) vs 5.6% (1/18)], hemoglobin [50.0% (9/18) vs 16.7% (3/18)], and hematocrit [61.1% (11/18) vs 16.7% (3/18)] in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group ( P < 0.05); on the fifth day of admission, the reduction proportions in hemoglobin [33.3% (6/18) vs 5.6% (1/18)] and hematocrit [33.3% (6/18) vs 5.6% (1/18)] in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group ( P < 0.05). Conclusions:The red blood cells, hemoglobin and hematocrit of pregnant women infected with DENV are significantly reduced, and there is a risk of miscarriage in early pregnancy. It is suggested that relevant departments should strengthen the training of medical staff to diagnose and treat pregnant women infected with DENV early.
