Antiarrhythmic effect of isoliensinine (IL) was studied on experimental arrhythmic mo-dels induced by coronary artery ligation and 4 different arrhythmogenic drugs in comparison with quinidine(Qu). Results of the study showed that the antiarrhythmic potency of IL was stronger than that of Qu atthe same dosage. The effects of IL on fast and slow response action potentials of myocardium were ob-served in guinea pig papillary muscles by standard microelectrode technique, which showed that IL couldreduce APA and Vmax and shorten the APD50. The results suggested that the antiarrhythmic mechanismof IL is related to its non-specific inhibition of the currents of Na+ and Ca2+.

This study examined the postoperative plasma endotoxin level, plasma endotoxin inactivation capacity and clinical outcome after administration of an enteral diet supplemented with glutamine, arginine and ω-3-fatty acid in patients undergoing gastrointestinal operations on an prospective, randomized and double-blind design. 40 patients undergoing gastrointestinal operations were randomized into two groups, with each having 20 patients. One group received standard enteral nutrition and the other was fed the formulation supplemented with glutamine, arginine and ω-3-fatty acid. The two groups were isonitrogenous. The infusion was started from day 1 after surgery and continued for 7 days. Blood samples were collected on the morning of day 1 before operation and on the morning of 1, 4 and 7 day(s) after operation and analyzed for plasma endotoxin level and endotoxin inactivation capacity (EIC). Our study found no differences between the two groups on plasma endotoxin level. After surgery a rapid reduction in plasma endotoxin inactivation capacity was observed in both groups, a significant recovery of the plasma endotoxin inactivation capacity was observed on morning of day 4 after surgery in the study group (0.12±0.02 EU/mL and 0. 078±0.022 EU/mL respectively, P＜0.01). Shortened hospital stay was observed in the experimental group (11.7±2.0 days in the control group and 10.6±1.2 days in the experimental group respectively, P=0.03). It is concluded that perioperative parenteral nutrition supplemented with glutamine, arginine and ω-3-fatty acid ameliorated postoperative immunodepression but without direct effect on endotoxemia.

Objective To investigate the expression and the relationship with angiogenesis of miR-195 and NLR family member X1 (NLRX1) in granulation tissue after negative-pressure wound treatment (NPWT).Methods Six patients were collected who received negative pressure treatment with refractory wound granulation.The levels of miR-195, NLRX1 mRNA and NLRX1 proteins were measured.The expression of NLRX1 and the micro-vascular density (MVD) of CD31 were detected by immunohistochemistry (IHC).Results MiR-195 and MVD were significantly higher in granulation tissue after 7 days negative pressure treatment (P＜0.05), and NLRX1 was significantly lower (P ＜0.05).In granulation tissue,the expression of miR-195 was negatively correlated with NLRX1 (r =-0.856, P ＜0.001), the expression of NLRX1 was negatively correlated with MVD (r =-0.618, P ＜0.05), and the expression of miR-195 was positively correlated with MVD (r =0.630, P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Negative pressure wound therapy can promote the formation of granulation vessels and the wound healing.The therapeutic mechanism may inhibit the expression of NLRX1 and upregulate the expression of miR-195 to promote angiogenesis.

Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) is a childhood-onset condition that primarily affects physical co-ordination.In China, DCD is not well recognized and is under-treated.Knowledge of the evaluation and intervention of DCD among physiotherapists (PT) is limited.In 2020, the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association published the Physical Therapy Management of Children with Developmental Coordination Disorder: An Evidence-Based Clinical Practice Guideline.From the perspective of PT, this review aims to make a comprehensive interpretation of the recommendations in the guideline regarding the physical examination and evaluation, physiotherapy planning and implementation, and family education of children at risk or diagnosed with DCD.This article aims to make DCD get more attention from domestic PT through the interpretation of the latest guidelines, and strengthen the knowledge of physiotherapy assessment and management in children with DCD to guide the clinical practice.
