OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for the establishment of clinical skills evaluation system in students majored in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy of China. METHODS:Retrieved from pharmacy OSCE literatures and the related websites,phar-macy OSCE contents and evaluation in the United States, the United Kingdom,Canada,Japan,Malaysia and other countries were introduced to provide suggestions for clinical skills evaluation system in students majored in clinical pharmacy and pharmacy of Chi-na. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:OSCE had widely applied in medicine, nursing and other professional clinical skills, the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries had applied OSCE into pharmacy, and confirmed its important role in assessment of clinical competence in pharmacy students. There was no uniform standard in OSCE,and OSCE examinations were slightly different in different countries and different schools. Pharmacy OSCE usually based on school courses such as pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacokinetics, medicine information, pharmaceutical care,doctor-patient communication, identification and solving ability of clinical drug-related issues. Numerous college of pharmacy in domestic colleges and universities has added the practice-based cours-es,but evaluation system and assessment methods are poor. Almost no OSCE is applied for the assessment of pharmacy students. OSCE has short application time in pharmacy education and relatively less study, therefore, pharmacy OSCE in foreign countries should be learnt to assess clinical skills of pharmacy students, establish and improve the pharmacy OSCE that is suitable for China by combining with the pharmacy education status.

OBJECTIVETo study the clinicopathologic features and significance of aberrant CD56 expression in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).
METHODSThe clinical and pathologic profiles of 10 cases of DLBCL with aberrant expression of CD56 were investigated. Immunohistochemical staining, in-situ hybridization for Epstein-Barr virus encoded RNA and gene rearrangement for IgH and Igκ were carried out.
RESULTSThere were 6 male and 4 female patients. The medium age of patients was 46 years. All of them presented with extranodal lymphoma involvement, with gastrointestinal tract being the commonest site (5/10). Histologic examination showed that most of the atypical lymphoid cells were centroblast-like and demonstrated a diffuse growth pattern. Apoptosis and necrosis were identified in some cases. Immunohistochemical study showed that the tumor cells were positive for CD20 or CD79α and aberrantly expressed CD56. Five cases had the GCB phenotype while the remaining cases had the non-GCB phenotype, according to Hans classification. Bcl-6 was positive in most cases (9/10). All cases showed a high proliferation index by Ki-67. The tumor cells were negative for CD3ε, CD138 and granzyme B. In-situ hybridization for Epstein-Barr virus encoded RNA was performed in 7 cases and none of them showed positive signals. IgH gene rearranged bands were detected in 4 cases (4/6) and Igκ was detected in 3 cases (3/6). Follow-up data were available in 8 patients. Two patients died of disease progression within 5 to 13 months after diagnosis and the other 6 patients were alive 8 to 60 months after therapy.
CONCLUSIONSDLBCL with aberrant expression of CD56 is rare. Most of them present with extranodal involvement, show high frequency of bcl-6 expression and high proliferation index. The patients often have good response to chemotherapy.

[Summary] To explore the therapeutic effect of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) for severe psoriasis. A patient, male, 36 years old, diagnosed as severe plaque psoriasis for 10 years and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) for 15 years, was administrated twice FMT via both upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with a 5‐week interval. The following items were used to evaluate responses: body surface area (BSA), psoriasis area and severity index (PASI), dermatology life quality index (DLQI), histological examination, intestinal symptoms, adverse reactions and serum level of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)‐α. After second FMT treatment for 5 weeks, aforementioned items were improved greatly compared with those before treatment. Moreover, IBS was completely relieved and no adverse reactions were observed during the treatment and follow‐up. In conclusion, FMT could be a novel therapy for psoriasis. Further clinical trials are needed to provide solid evidences.

Objective:To explore the selection criteria of the donor for islet transplantation of Chinese people by analyzing the correlation between pancreas characteristics and success rate of islets isolation. Methods:Data from 113 cases of human islet isolation were collected. According to the result of islet isolation, the donors were divided into two groups, the success group(IEQ≥250 000, purification≥30%, and viability≥80%), and the failure group(IEQ<250 000, or purification<30%, or viability<80%). The modified Ricordi method was used to digest pancreas tissue, and the continuous density gradient method was performed to purify islets. The islets were identified by staining with the Dithizone(DTZ), the islets were analyzed for cell viability and purity. Results:The donor age in success group was significantly younger than failure group in the range of age eligible for this study( t=2.479, P=0.015). Pearson correlation showed that donor age was positively corelated with islet yield( r=-0.214, P=0.047). There was more fat on the pancreas surface in the successful islet isolation group( z=-2.007, P=0.045). The digestibility( t=2.133, P=0.035) and recovery rate( t=5.912, P=0.001) were elevated in success group. Conclusion:The pancreases from younger donors could obtain the higher-yielding islet, the pancreas with more surface fat or with higher weight was associated with islet isolation success in the scope covered by the inclusion criteria of this study.
