With high incident of cancer and chronic disease, it is more and more important to develop palliative care; as developing later, there is neither unified palliative care mode and related policy, nor mature assessment collaboration in China. It pointed out that Australia as an advanced country with stable development of palliative care and assessment collaboration, called palliative care outcomes collaboration (PCOC). It expatiated the PCOC on structure, function and operation. China should learn from the mode of Australia palliative care assessment and management collaboration, find references to improve and further develop Chinese palliative care assessment collaboration.

Objective To study the mechanism of the protective effect of lycium barbarum polysaccharide on light aging resistance rats by using the metabolic profile and metabolic target analysis technique. Methods Ultraviolet irradiation induced Wistar rats were induced to produce skin photo aging model and 24 rats were randomly divided into three groups, including control goup, model group, Lycium barbarum polysaccharide group (LBP). After modeling for 24 hours, LBP group was conducted with Lycium barbarum polysaccharide solution of 10 mg/kg. Control group and model group were given same volume of stroke-physiological saline solution for 14 days. The biochemical indexes such as rat serum antioxidant activity of related substances and MDA were measured in model group and drug group; the urine metabolomics study was also investigated for the mechanism of lycium barbarum polysaccharide against light aging band. Results Compared with the model group, the LBP group rats total superoxide dismutase activity (301.51 ± 42.56 U/mgvs.93.41 ± 56.31 U/mg), hydroxyproline (8.91 ± 5.78μg/mgvs.4.74 ± 1.54μg/mg) content significantly increased (P<0.05), but the malondialdehyde (8.54 ± 6.41 nmol/mgvs.21.31 ± 6.58 nmol/mg) decreased without any statistics difference (P<0.05). The urine metabonomics results showed that LBP could regulate the skin photoaging of multiple metabolic pathways and key metabolic enzymes in the process, such as peanut four acid, tyrosine, taurine, citric acid and hippuric acid, L-cysteine, inositol, threonine etc. Conclusions In the process of skin photoaging in rats, multiple metabolic pathways in vivo were disordered, and Lycium barbarum polysaccharide could play a protective role by regulating the key metabolic enzymes in the network.

Journal of Xi'an Jiaotong University(Medical Sciences) 2016;37(4):493-499
ABSTRACT:Objective For preparation of vascularized islets , to isolate and culture human adipose derived stem cells , investigate the role of adipose derived stem cells (ADSCs ) in promoting the proliferation and vascularization of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs ) co‐cultured in vitro , and explore its mechanism .Methods ADSCs and HUVECs were isolated by collagenase digestion method ,then cultured ,and identified by morphology ,immunofluorescence or multi‐directional differentiation .The co‐culture system of ADSCs and HUVECs was established , HUVECs cultured alone were set up for control group . The proliferation , vascularization and concentration of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (b‐FGF)in the supernatant were compared between the two groups .Results The third generational ADSCs had uniform long spindle fiberous morphology and multi‐directional differentiational function . Immunofluorescence test of surface antigens on ADSCs revealed CD44/CD49d (+ ) ,CD31/CD34 (-) ,on HUVECs CD31/vWF (+ ) . High vascular density was found when co‐cultured in Matrigel of ADSCs and HUVECs than alone of HUVECs .Growth curve shown at days 3 , 4 and 5 of the logarithmic phase , HUVECs count in co‐culture group of ADSCs and HUVECs was (4 .52 ± 0 .31) × 104 ,(7 .18 ± 0 .45) × 104 ,and (8 .23 ± 0 .36) × 104 under indirect co‐culture condition , while that in individual HUVECs group was (2 .71 ± 0 .25) × 104 ,(4 .87 ± 0 .26) × 104 ,and (6 .86 ± 0 .33) × 104 ( P<0 .01) .Population doubling time of HUVECs was shorter in co‐culture group than in individual group .Also ,the OD value of HUVECs was higher in co‐culture group than in individual group when cultured at days 1 ,3 ,5 and 7 ( P<0 .01) .When cultured at days 3 ,7 and 13 ,the concentration of VEGF and b‐FGF in the supernatant was higher in co‐culture group than in individual group ( P< 0 .01 ) . Conclusion ADSCs can promote the proliferation and vascularization of HUVECs in vitro co‐culture conditions by secreting or increasing the HUVECs secretion of VEGF and b‐FGF .
