1.Nitric oxide and endotnelin-1 concentrations of venous cord blood and its relationship with umbilical arteries blood flow velocity in pregnant women with diabetes mellitus
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the changes of venous cord blood nitric oxide(NO) and endotnelin-1(ET-1) levels and to find out its relationship with umbilical arteries blood flow velocities in the pregnant women with diabetes mellitus. Methods 66 cases of the pregnant women with diabetes mellitus(DM) were selected at random, including 30 diabetes mellitus complicated with pregnancies(DMP) and 36 gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).36 cases of the normal pregnant(NP) women were selected as the control group.Venous cord blood samples were collected from all the subjects after delivery.Cord blood NO and ET-1 levels were detected by Griess assay and radioimmuno-assay respectively, and umbilical arteries blood flow velocities(S/D) were measured just before delivery. Results Compared with the control group, cord blood NO levels decreased and ET-1 levels increased and S/D increased in the DMP group significantly(P0.05).Conclusion Umbilical blood NO and ET-1 levels are abnormal in DMP,which induces the high resistance of fetal-placental circulation, and finally might cause adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2016;34(5):388-392
Primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) is an autosomal recessive or x-linked disorder of cilia structure and (or) function, with a morbidity of 1:10 000–1:50 000 from foreign reports, while epidemic data of PCD in China is not available yet. PCD is due to cilia biallelic gene mutations leading to impaired tissue structure and organ function. Clinical phenotypes include chronic infections of the respiratory tract, fertility problems, disorders of organ laterality, etc, and the percent age of Kartagener syndrome is about 50%. The frequently used diagnostic methods are nasal NO examination, high-speed video microscopy, electron microscopy, genetic tests, chest high-resolution computed tomography and spirometry at present. Each method has its highlights and disadvantages, meanwhile, effective diagnostic algorithm and therapeutic protocols are needed for further research.

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1997;0(06):-
Objective To study the protective effect on transient focal cerebral ischemic preconditioning against neuronal cell apoptosis again, and the relationship between bcl 2, bax and cerebral ischemic tolerance. Methods Middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) was showed for 20 min by craniotomy and MCA was blocked 6 h after 3 d.Cerebral infarct volume and the change of histopathological in rats were observed, the status of neuronal cell apoptosis were observed by TUNEL mothod, the alteration of bcl 2 and bax protein expression were observed by immunohistochemical method. Results As compared with the false preconditioning group and ischemia group, the infarct volume in the ischemic group reduced significantly after preconditioning( P

Journal of Clinical Neurology 1995;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the protective role of transient focal ischemic precondition(PC) against permanent focal cerebral ischemia, to define the proper time dose for precondition, and to study the reaction of astroglia in cerebral ischemic tolerance. Methods Temporary middle cerebral artery occlusion(10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes) followed three day reperfusion before permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion(PMCAO) transcranially was used as precondition in Wistar rats. The protective role was evaluated by observing the neurological deficits, analyzing the infarct volume and studying changes of pathohistology. The reaction of astroglia was observed by using anti GFAP immunohistochemistry. Results Compared with the control group, 20 min ischemic precondition, which did not produce neuronal damage obviously, alleviated the neurological deficits and reduced the infarct volume significantly( P

Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2017;35(8):580-584
Objective To understand the etiology and clinical features of childhood bronchiectasis in China. Methods Data of 182 children diagnosed with bronchiectasis admitted in Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from 1991 to May, 2015, and more than 20 cases in the Chinese literatures since 1990 were reviewed. Results The top three causes of bronchiectasis in 182 children (114 boys, 68 girls, median age:118 months) in Chongqing were post-infection, primary immunodeficiency and foreign body, with frequency of 29.7%, 7.7%, and 7.1%, respectively. Chronic wet cough was the most frequent feature. Diagnosis of bronchiectasis usually need to combine with chest CT findings, which showed that the lesions were at left lower lobe, right middle lobe and right lower lobe. The choice of antibiotics was based on bacterial cultures of respiratory secretions, and Streptococcus pneumoniae was the most frequently isolated bacteria in Chongqing. The most common three causes of bronchiectasis in children according to data of 572 cases ( 347 boys, 225 girls) in 7 cities of China including Chongqing were the same with that of Chongqing, 45.5%, 7.3%, and 5.6%, respectively. Conclusion Early diagnosis, identification of etiology and comprehensive management of bronchiectasis in children are benefitial for prognosis.

International Journal of Surgery 2021;48(1):58-62
Transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β), a member of the TGF-β superfamily, plays a role in multiple biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, migration and tissue fibrosis, etc. Normally, TGF-βs widely express in normal tissues and most cell lines, such as macrophages and dendritic cells, But in pathological conditions, Cancer cells and cancer-associated fibroblasts also produce and secrete TGF-β. Scirrhous gastric cancer (SGC) is a special subtype of gastric cancer with rapid development, frequent peritoneal implantation, and accompanied by significant interstitial fibrosis deposition. these biological behavior characteristics all suggest that its occurrence and development are closely related to TGF-β expression, and TGF-β is considered to be associated with poor prognosis of the SGC. The use of antibodies and inhibitors of TGF-β and its signaling pathways can reduce the invasiveness of cancer cells and improve the prognosis of SGC patients. This paper reviews the expression and significance of TGF-β in SGC.

Shanghai Journal of Acupuncture and Moxibustion 2014;(10):971-972
Objective To investigate the efficacy of scalp acupuncture plus moxibustion in treating post-stroke should hand syndrome. Method Seventy-three patients were divided into two groups. the treatment group of 42 patients received scalp acupuncture plus moxibustion and the control group, conventional acupuncture. The therapeutic effects and pre-and post-treatment Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function scores were compared between the two groups. Result The total efficacy rate was 88.1%in the treatment group and 74.2%in the control group;there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01). The total efficacy rate was higher in the treatment group than in the control group. The Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function score increased in both groups after treatment (P<0.01). The posttreatment Fugl-Meyer upper limb motor function score was higher in the treatment group than in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion The results suggest that scalp acupuncture plus moxibustion has a better therapeutic effect on post-stroke should hand syndrome. The therapeutic effect is better in the patients with disease duration under six months than in those over six months.
