Objective To improve the effectiveness of internship nursing students in infectious diseases by implementing peer teaching method. Methods The nursing students were divided into two groups according to the order of student number. The control group was given the teaching method of the general outline. On the basis of the outline teaching, the experimental group gave counseling and counseling to the students in their professional and psychological aspects. Results There were significant differences between the two groups in terms of the results of the three tests and the theoretical evaluation, and the results of the test group were better than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Peer- to- peer learning method can improve the practical effect of surgical nursing students in infectious diseases, and can be popularized in a certain extent.

A method based on ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry ( UPLC-MS/MS) has been proposed for the determination of coccidiostat residues in chicken skin and fat. The sample was extracted with the combination of methanol, acetonitrile, and acetic acid, and cleaned-up by Sep-Pak tC18 solid phase extraction cartridge. Data acquisition under positive electrospray mode was performed by applying multiple reaction monitoring for both identification and quantification. The limits of detection and quantification for halofuginone and robenidine were 7 μg/kg and 20 μg/kg, respectively. The limit of detection of salinomycin, monensin, narasin, maduramicin, and lasalocid was 5 μg/kg, and limit of quantification was 15 μg/kg. The recovery was 75% to 110% in the spiked concentration range from 15 μg/kg to 200 μg/kg, with intra-day precision lower than 12. 8%, and inter-day precision lower than 13 . 4%.

Nipple discharge is one of main symptoms about breast disease.Furthermore, the haematodes nipple discharge is earlier clinical manifestation of breast duct cancer. How to make diagnosis about the dis-ease of nipple discharge better, especially the early diagnosis of breast duct cancer,is the responsibility of breast specialists. There are several usual examinations about breast, but they are below the mark about some breast disease which have no lump or have minimal changes.Whole breast ultrasonic scanning and breast ultrasound computer-assisted diagnose system make the diagnosis of the disease of nipple discharge better than before in recent years.3D-reestablishment of this diagnose system can make doctor conveniently observe the disease in spatial position and know the relationgshep between disease and peripheric tissue. In this way, doctor can definit the property of disease more exactly and make early diagnosis of breast tumor more easier.

Objective To study whether specific IL-1B+3954/Taq Ⅰ genotype alleles are associated with chronic periodontitis (CP) in Chinese of the Han nationality. Methods CP group consisted of 66 patients while healthy controls group consisted of 50 subjects. Anti-coagulated peripheral blood sample was obtained from each subject and genomic DNA was extracted from each sample. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) at IL-1B+3954/Taq Ⅰ were analyzed by standard polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphisms (PCR-RFLP) assay. Results In the control group, higher numerical values of the A1/A1 genotype were observed for the IL-1B+3954/Taq Ⅰ SNPs (84.0%),and the A2+ genotype was present in 16% of this sample. Statistical analysis revealed no significant difference between the two groups. Conlusion There is no evidence in our study supporting the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the IL-1B+3954/Taq Ⅰ gene and prevalence and/or severity of chronic periodontitis.

Purpose To investigate the pathological characteristics of loco-regional recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma ( rNPC ) . Methods Nasopharyngeal biopsy specimens of 46 rNPCs and 63 primary NPCs were collected. HE staining, immunohistochemistry and EBV small RNAs ( EBERs) in-situ hybridization were performed. Results The over-expression rates of both p63 and CK5/6 in rNPC were significantly higher than those of primary NPCs (P=0. 005, P=0. 026), while no statistical significance of Ki-67 over-ex-pression existed between the two groups ( P=0. 387 ) . More necrotic tissues, inflammatory exudates, giant bizarre carcinoma cells, desmoplastic stroma, giant bizarre tumor cells and higher degree of squamous differentiation were found in rNPCs. The carcinoma cells of 5 rNPCs were negative for both EBERs in-situ hybridization and LMP-1 immunohistochemical staining. Conclusion The loco-re-gional rNPC has two peaks of latency interval:2~5 and 9~11 years. The loco-regional rNPC cells have higher degree of squamous differentiation with higher expression of p63 and CK5/6, as well as more invasive ability. In addition, both EBERs in-situ hybridization and LMP-1 immunostaining are negative in 10. 87% (5/46) of loco-regional rNPC.

Objective:To explore the cause of death of 2 suspected Yunnan sudden unexplained death (YNSUD) cases in Dayao County, Yunnan Province. Methods:The field epidemiological investigation and autopsy of 2 cases of YNSUD in Dayao County from June 15 to 20, 2020 were conducted; and blood and tissue samples were collected for qualitative analysis of common poisons and drugs. Results:The areas where the two cases were located were all seriously ill villages with a history of YNSUD, and the time of death occurred in the onset season of YNSUD. There was no blood relationship between the 2 cases, no obvious abnormal symptoms before death, no special diet, no history of exposure to pesticides and other toxic chemicals, and the test results of common poisons were all negative. Autopsy pathological examination results showed that case 1 died of acute cardiac dysfunction caused by sudden acute myocardial infarction of coronary heart disease, and case 2 died of central respiratory and circulatory failure caused by spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage. Conclusions:The two cases are excluded from YNSUD through autopsy, and the cause of death is determined. It is suggested that emergency response should be taken as soon as possible for YNSUD cases, and autopsy should be actively carried out to clarify the cause of death from a pathological point of view.

Objective To analyze the role of lienal polypeptide injection in acute lung injury induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in rats. Methods Eighty male SD rats were randomly allocated into 4 groups: a LPS group, a control group, a lienal polypeptide group and a LPS+ lienal polypeptide group (20 rats in each group). Lienal polypeptide or normal saline was given with an intramuscular injection 30 min after an intraperitoneal injection of LPS (5 mg/kg). The severity of pulmonary injury was evaluated 4 h after LPS challenge by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), wet-to-dry weight ratio, hematoxylin and eosin (HE) staining, TUNEL and Western blotting. Results Lienal polypeptide injection treatment significantly attenuated LPS-induced pulmonary histopathologic changes, alveolar hemorrhage, and neutrophil infiltration. Moreover lienal polypeptide injection significantly suppressed LPS-induced activation of metastasis-associated protein-1 (MTA1). Conclusion Lienal polypeptide injection is demonstrated to protect rats from LPS-induced acute lung injury by the expression of MTA1.
