Objective To study the behavioral changes of the spinal cord injury model to provide important data for neuroal factor therapy of the impaired spinal cord. Methods In SD rat, aged 8 weeks,(T7~T8 spinous processes as control),after the spinous process and corresponding lamina of vertebra were removed, the spinal cord was cut by using scissors to prepare the complete transversal abruptly spinal model. The behavioral score of the rat was recorded at different time. The evaluation was made in imageology and pathology. Results The score of SD rat in the experiment group was higher than the control group at different control time. The pathobiology and imageology alterations were very apparent in the damaged spinal area. Conclusion GAP-43 has neuroprotective effect on the recovery of spinal cord injury.

Objective:To analyze the effects of noise exposure on the hearing at different frequencies in workers from the automobile manufacturing industry. Methods:A total of 4723 noise workers in a large automobile manufacturing company in Guangzhou were chosen as the research object by using judgment sampling method between April and July, 2018, and carried out 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and 6.0 kHz pure tone audiometry threshold to analyze the characteristics of the status of hearing loss at different frequencies and its relationship with the noise exposure time. Results:The detection rate of hearing loss in noise-exposed workers was 29.8% (1406/4723) . Among them, the binaural hearing loss was 21.2% (999/4723) , and single unilateral hearing loss accounted for 8.6% (407/4723) . The hearing loss detection rate of right ear was higher than that of the left ear ( P<0.05) , especially in the 6.0 kHz ( P<0.001) . The detection rate of increased speech frequency hearing threshold was 1.9% (90/4723) , and the detection rate of increased high-frequency hearing threshold was 28.9% (1366/4723) . The detection rate of increased threshold in both the left and the right ear increased with the increase of frequency ( P<0.001) , the increased hearing threshold was the highest at the frequency of 6.0 kHz. The auditory threshold of left ear in 0.5 kHz were higher than that of right ear at the same frequency ( P<0.05) . The detection rate of hearing loss increased with the increase of noise exposure time ( P<0.001) , and the increased threshold of 3.0, 4.0 and 6.0 kHz from workers increased with the increase of noise exposure time ( P<0.001) . Conclusion:There is a significant increased threshold in workers exposed to noise frequency of 6.0 kHz, right ear is more easily damaged than left ear, there is a dose-response relationship for the noise exposure time and high-frequency hearing loss.

Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety of azacitidine combined with venetoclax or CAG regimen in the treatment of newly treated elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML).Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted. The clinical data of 34 newly treated elderly patients with AML treated in the Fifth People's Hospital of Datong from May 2018 to August 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the treatment regimen, all patients were divided into venetoclax group (azacitidine + venetoclax, 17 cases) and CAG group (azacitidine + CAG regimen, 17 cases). The clinicopathological characteristics, efficacy, adverse reactions and survival of the both groups were compared. Results:There were no statistically significant differences in the clinical data of both groups (all P > 0.05). The complete remission (CR) rate and the objective response rate (ORR) in venetoclax group were higher than those in CAG group [CR: 70.6%(12/17) vs. 47.1% (8/17); ORR: 82.4% (14/17) vs. 64.7% (11/17)],while the differences in CR and ORR were not statistically significant (χ 2 = 2.00, P = 0.163; χ 2 = 2.00, P = 0.244). The follow-up time[ M ( Q1, Q3)] was 25.4 months (7.2 months, 60.3 months). At the end of follow-up, 19 of 34 patients survived (13 cases in venetoclax group and 6 cases in CAG group); 15 died (4 cases in venetoclax group and 11 cases in CAG group). The median overall survival (OS) time was 14.22 months (95% CI: 8.2-60.3 months) and 10.56 months (95% CI: 7.2-50.2 months), respectively in venetoclax group and CAG group;the median progression-free survival (PFS) time was 9.97 months (95% CI: 5.4-40.5 months) and 6.82 months (95% CI: 5.0-36.2 months), respectively, and there were no statistically significant differences in OS and PFS between the two groups (all P > 0.05). Grade 3-4 hematological adverse reactions occurred in 16 and 14 patients in venetoclax group and CAG group, respectively. There were no significant differences in granulocyte deficiency time, platelet deficiency time, infection and bleeding incidence between the two groups (all P > 0.05). Conclusions:Azacitidine combined with venetoclax or CAG regimen have better clinical efficacy and safety for newly treated elderly patients with AML.

Lycophytes and seed plants constitute the typical vascular plants. Lycophytes have been thought to have no paleo-polyploidization although the event is known to be critical for the fast expansion of seed plants. Here, genomic analyses including the homologous gene dot plot analysis detected multiple paleo-polyploidization events, with one occurring approximately 13-15 million years ago (MYA) and another about 125-142 MYA, during the evolution of the genome of Selaginella moellendorffii, a model lycophyte. In addition, comparative analysis of reconstructed ancestral genomes of lycophytes and angiosperms suggested that lycophytes were affected by more paleo-polyploidization events than seed plants. Results from the present genomic analyses indicate that paleo-polyploidization has contributed to the successful establishment of both lineages-lycophytes and seed plants-of vascular plants.
