Objective To observe the efficacy of telmisartan in treatment of congestive heart failure. Methods 87 patients with chronic congestive heart failure(CHF),who had unsatisfactory results under conventional digitals, diuretics and vasodilators therapy, were given telmisartan 40~80mg orally once a day for 4 week. The changes of clinical effects and cardiac function were observed. Results 4 weeks after treatment, the clinical total effective rate were 99%.Left ventricular end-systolic dimension(LVDs),left ventricular end diastolic dimension(LVDd) improved, stroke volume(SV),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),cardiac output(CO) and cardiac index(CI) increased significantly.Aldosterone decreased obviously(P

Objective:To explore the external factors of the development of cancer hospitals under normalized epidemic prevention and control, and to propose targeted strategies in accordance with existing practice. Methods:PEST model was used to analyze the political, economic, social and technological environment of specialized cancer hospitals, with an overall strategy proposed based on the specific analysis of a cancer hospital. Results:In the era of normalized epidemic prevention and control, cancer hospitals were facing a new environment that was common or unique to other types of medical institutions. In response, the case hospital had adopted such strategies as integrating prevention and control with medical services, integrating offline with online services, and integrating internal and external resources to promote its recovery and development. Conclusions:Cancer hospitals and government should fully leverage the environmental changes incurred by the normalization of prevention and control, and formulate a more integrated development strategy covering short, medium up to long term conditions, based on the two major objectives of epidemic prevention and control and cancer prevention and medical services.

OBJECTIVETo study the effects of sowing date on morphologic characteristics, yield and quality of Radix Isatidis, in order to provide a basis for selection of the suitable sowing date.
METHODThe experiment was carried out in a randomized complete block design arranged in split plot, the phonological period of Isatis indigotica was investigated and the morphological indexes, yield and quality at harvest were measured and determined by correlation and variance analysis.
RESULTThe different sowing dates showed a great effect on phonological period of I. indigotica. The biological characteristics, yield and active components of Radix Isatidis were negatively correlated with the sowing date, and the difference of morphological characteristics, yield and active compositions with sowing date was significant.
CONCLUSIONThe suitable sowing date of I. indigotica was during the period of time from late March to beginning of the April in Fuyang area, and considering the factors of rational rotation, the time cloud delayed until late May to the beginning of June.

OBJECTIVETo study the growth characteristics of different germplasm and analyze the correlation between morphologic and individual yield of Isatis indigotica.
METHODThe planting samples were collected during the growth period, morphological characteristics and root yield per plant in 13 germplasm of I. indigotica from all over the country were determined by correlation and path analysis.
RESULTThe growth characteristics of various I. indigotica germplasm were consistent. The difference of morphological characteristics and root yield with various germplasm were significant. The root yield per plant was positively correlated to the main root length and the number of individual plant leaves.
CONCLUSIONThe number of leaves per plant and root length are selected for high-yield lines, meanwhile, leaf length and leaf diameter are important factors for breeding high-yield lines as well.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate improvement effect of external administration of water extract from Eriocarpous Glochidion on chronic dermatitis-eczema model mice, and to provide reference for developing new dermatological drug. METHODS:A total of 60 mice were randomly divided into blank group (distilled water), model group (distilled water), compound triamcinolone acetonide acetate group (positive control group, original liquid) , high-concentration, medium-concentration and low-concentration groups of water extract from Eriocarpous Glochidion(2.0,1.0,0.5 g/mL,calculated by crude drug),10 mice in each group. Except for blank group, other groups were given 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene to induce chronic dermatitis-eczema model. Since the third day of the experiment, two sides of right ears of the mice were given relevant medicine twice at 7:00 and 15:00,15 μL each time, for consecutive 12 d. In the tenth, thirteenth, sixteenth day of the experiment, the difference of thickness of right ears of the mice was calculated(the difference value before experiment),the times of scratching in ear of mice were recorded within 30 min. In sixteenth day of the experiment, ear swelling degree of mice was determined, and thymus index and spleen index in mice were calculated. Optical microscope was used to observe the pathological changes of ear tissues of mice. RESULTS:Compared with blank group, the difference of thickness of right ears, ear swelling degree, spleen index and scratching times were increased significantly in model group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). The epidermis of the ear tissue was thickened, the cell proliferation was obvious, and cavernous edema was found in the epidermis. Compared with model group, other indexes in were decreased significantly, except that the difference value of thickness of right ears in sixteenth day of the experiment, scratching times in ninth and fifteenth day of the experiment were decreased slightly in low-concentration group of water extract from Eriocarpous Glochidion and the thymus index and spleen index in medium-concentration, low-concentration groups of water extract from Eriocarpous Glochidion (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The pathological changes of ear tissue were improved in administration groups to certain extent. CONCLUSIONS:External administration of water extract of Eriocarpous Glochidion has good improvement effect against chronic dermatitis-eczema in mice, which is worthy of further development and investigation.

Objective:To analyze the correlation between body mass index (BMI) and the graded expression, subcutaneous depth, and diameter of elbow veins (cephalic vein, median vein, basilic vein) in patients with metabolic syndrome, to provide a method and theoretical basis for precise puncture of peripheral veins in obese patients. Methods:From January to October 2021, a total of 767 patients with metabolic syndrome with gastric volume reduction were selected as the study subjects by retrospective cohort study from the first Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. According to the quartile Q1, M and Q3 of BMI level, they were divided into four groups: group A, group B, group C and group D. The subcutaneous depth and diameter of the cephalic vein, median vein and basilic vein were measured by B-ultrasound, and the three veins were evaluated and graded according to the grading criteria of superficial veins. The correlation between BMI and the subcutaneous depth and diameter of the three elbow veins was analyzed, and collected data such as puncture method and puncture times. Results:There was no significant correlation between BMI and subcutaneous depth and vessel diameter of the basilic vein ( r = 0.041 and 0.046, both P>0.05), the level of BMI was positively correlated with the subcutaneous depth and diameter of cephalic vein ( r = 0.275 and 0.117, both P<0.05) and median vein ( r = 0.236 and 0.148, both P<0.05), and a linear regression relationship was found ( OR values were 1.013-1.031, all P<0.05). 187 cases had direct puncture conditions under direct vision, and the success rate of one puncture was 86.63%(162/187).Venipuncture was completed under the guidance of B-mode ultrasound for 25 cases with failure under direct vision and 580 cases without direct puncture conditions under direct vision, the success rate of one puncture was 98.51% (596/605). Conclusions:With the increase of BMI level in patients with metabolic syndrome, the depth and diameter of both cephalic vein and median vein increase, venous exposure is difficult to express. The visual vein puncture guided by B-ultrasound is more accurate and catheterization is more reliable.
