OBJECTIVE To know the compliance and it′s impact factors of hand hygiene of healthcare workers.METHODS The wards and healthcare workers were sampled randomly.Survey the compliance, qualified rate and impact factors of hand hygiene of healthcare workers when they didn′t know to be observed by special training staffs.RESULTS The compliance and the qualified rate of hand hygiene was 30.2% bothly, and be affected by the time before or after operation, occupations and work post. The factors causing low qualified rate were anenough time and improper technique for washing hand, and drying hand wrong.CONCLUSIONS The hand hygiene for healthcare workers in hospitals should be strengthened.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of hypothyroidism during the second trimester and its relationship with thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb). Methods Two thousand one hundred and forty one pregnant women whose gestational age between 14 to 28 weeks, accepted their prenatal care at the outpatient clinic of International Peace Maternity & Child Health Hospital from March 1,2010 to July 31,2010 were enrolled into this study. Serum TPOAb,thyroidstimulating hormone (TSH) and free thyroxine (FT4) of these women were detected. Logistic regression model was used to analyze the risk factors of subclinical hypothyroidism and positive TPOAb,while Spearman rank correlation was used to analyze the relationship between the levels of TSH,FT4 and TPOAb. Results (1) Subclinical hypothyroidism was detected in 13.36% (286/2141) patients. Isolated maternal hypothyroxinemia occurs in 0.14% (3/2141) of pregnant women. No overt hypothyroidism patient was detected and 6.26% (134/2141) of all pregnant women exhibited positive TPOAb(≥50 U/ml).(2) Positive rate of TPOAb in subclinical hypothyroidism group, isolated maternal hypothyroxinemia group and normal thyroid function group was 13.64% (39/286),0/3 and 5.06% (86/1701) respectively, and there was difference among the three groups (x2 =30.82,P<0.01).The positive rate of TPOAb did not relate to fetal gender, maternal age, gestational age, gravidity and parity.(3) TPOAb had positive relationship with TSH level (r=0.12,P<0.01),while did not relate to FT4 level (r=-0.04,P=0.09). (4) Positive TPOAb (OR 3.18,95% CI:2.10-4.83,P<0.01) and gravidity (OR=1.21,95% CI:1.02-1.43,P=0.030)were risk factors of subclinical hypothyroidism. Conclusions Hypothyroidism is common during the second trimester. It is necessary to screen TPOAb in pregnant women as TPOAb is an independent and important predictor of subclinical hypothyroidism.

OBJECTIVE To analyze the effect of the disposable over-shoes for the control of nosocomial infection of the intensive care units(ICU). METHODS The effects of the disposable over-shoes for the environment contamination and nosocomial infection control of the surgical ICU were investigated. RESULTS The mean of air bacteria colony counts when disposable over-shoes were worn was lower than that when without their use by healthcare workers (P0.05). The rates of nosocomial infection beteen them were 21.5‰ and 17.1‰,respectively. CONCLUSIONS The use of disposable over-shoes can't improve the environment quality and is not benefit for the control of nosocomial infection of surgical ICU.

Objective To construct prokaryotic expression vectors for glutamate dehydrogenase(GDH)of Clostridium difficile(CD),and express recombinant GDH in Escherichia coli, and identify its antigenicityed. Methods The entire gene of GDH was cloned from ATCC43255 genome DNA.The recombinant antigens were expressed in E.coli with IPTG induction and purified by Ni-NATBeads.The antigenicity was detected using CD Qick Chek Complete dual-antigen EIA. Results Prokaryotic expression vectors of CD GDH were constructed successfully. The antigen could be identified by specific anti-GDH antibodies. Conclusion The GDH antigen can be used to prepare corresponding antibodies, which facilitate the development of immunoassay for CD GDH.
5.Research progress on placenta-related factors and fetal growth restriction
China Modern Doctor 2015;(16):157-160
Fetal growth restriction is a serious high-risk pregnancy, which threats the fetal health in gestation and also increases the long-term likeliness of several diseases. Multiple factors result in this disease. Placenta is an important organ to maintain fetal growth, metabolism, maternal and fetal physiologic balance. The correlation between placental factors and FGR plays an important guiding role on seeking for the causes, pathogenesis and treatment of the disease. In this review, the authors summarized the findings in current studies of the relationship between placenta-related fac-tors and FGR, such as immunization, angiogenesis and apoptosis.

OBJECTIVEAssessing the reproducibility of a portable spirometer, including reproducibility of inter-observer and day-today.
METHODSLung ventilation function was performed in 22 healthy volunteers by two observers on the same day and repeated by the first observer after 24h.
RESULTSThe inter-observer and day-to-day intra-class correlation coefficients are all higher than 0.75. There are no significant difference between each other. Bland-Altman chart shows good limits of agreement between inter-observer and day-to-day, only scattered data are outside of the limits of agreement.
CONCLUSIONSThe portable spirometer shows good inter-observer and day-to-day reproducibility, and can be used for testing lung function in clinical.

Objective To explore the relationship between the polymorphisms of the primary gout predisposing gene (BCAS3) rs11653176 locus and the incidence of gout in Han Chinese men in coastal areas of Shandong Province. Methods One hundred and fifty-two cases of patients with gout remission,68 cases of acute stage,252 patients with hyperuricemia, and 280 healthy subjects, total males, were enrolled. Genotyping the rs11653176 locus of BCAS3 gene by TaqMan probe technique. The expression level of BCAS3 gene mRNA in each PBMC was measured by RT-qPCR. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), interleukin-6(IL-6), and interleukin-18(IL-18)in serum were measured by ELISA. Results The change of allele frequency of rs11653176 locus in BCAS3 gene was associated with gout(P<0.01). BCAS3 mRNA in patients with gout was significantly higher than that of healthy people and patients with hyperuricemia(P<0.01). In gout patients, the expression level of BCAS3 gene containing C allele was higher than that of T allele(mRNA,P<0.05). The inflammatory factors in the acute phase of gout were significantly higher than those in phases of remission and hyperuricemia(P<0. 01). Conclusion Changes in the allele frequency of BCAS3 alleles rs11653176(high C, low T)may contribute to the expression of this gene, and lead to gout. And the onset of gout is closely related to the production of inflammatory factors.

Objective:
To compare the short-term outcomes of a collagen matrix (CM) and free gingival graft (FGG) in augmenting keratinized mucosa around dental implants.
Methods:
Nineteen partially edentulous patients who had undergone implant surgery or implant review from June 2017 to June 2018 at Department of Periodontology, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology with lack of keratinized mucosa at buccal aspect of implants (<2 mm) were recruited in this study. According to the width of keratinized mucosa (KW) pre-operation, 9 patients including 5 males and 4 females were assigned into control group (KW<0.5 mm) which performed free gingival graft (17 implants) and 10 patients including 3 males and 7 females were assigned into experimental group (KW≥0.5 mm) which used collagen matrix as the grafts (15 implants). The KW at buccal aspect of each implant were measured pre-operation and 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months after surgery respectively. Each of the patients was required to fill out a questionnaire using a visual analogue scale to assess the postoperative morbidity.
Results:
The KWs around implants were increased significantly during the 3 months follow-up period in both groups (
