2.Cause analysis of medical personnels moral degradation and moral reconstruction
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(03):-
The paper briefly summarizes the chief manifestations of moral degradation on the part of medical personnel and then makes a preliminary analysis of the causes. On the basis of this, it discusses at some length some major measures to be adopted in reconstructing medical personnels morality. These include: ① carrying forward traditional Chinese medical ethics and using medical codes of ethics from Western countries for reference; ②strengthening the education and training of medical personnel in ethics; ③perfecting the codes of ethics for medical personnel; ④speeding up reform in the personnel and distribution systems; ⑤reinforcing supervision and setting up corresponding evaluation mechanisms; ⑥selecting personnel combining ability with political integrity to engage in the medical profession; ⑦strengthening the construction of social morals.

CD133 has been confirmed as a stem cell surface marker in a variety of tumors.Specific markers of cancer stem cells in the thyroid cancer are not yet clear. Results of some studies showed that expression of CD133 was found in undifferentiated thyroid cancer cells which had the characteristics of stem cells. Those cells had the ability to self-renewal,multi-directional differentiation, potential development to cancer, and radio-and chemotherapy resistance. This article mainly views the progresses of CD133 in thyroid cancer research.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To investigate the pharmacological actions related with therapeutic effect and indications of crude and processed semen cassiae, and to compare the differences between them. Methods Serum contents of ALT and AST were determined in acute liver injury mice induced by CCl4,the intestinal propulsion of Evans blue was measured in normal mice and in constipation mice, and stool properties, defecation latency and defecate amounts in constipation mice were also investigated. Results Both crude and processed semen cassiae showed obvious liver-protective effects, and decreased the contents of ALT and AST in serum, but processed semen cassiae was better than crude in protecting liver. Both of them increased the intestinal propulsion in normal and constipation mice, improved the stool properties, shortened the defecate latency and increased the defecate amounts in constipation mice. Conclusion Both crude and processed semen cassiae have the effects of protecting liver, lubricating bowel and promoting defecation. The processed is superior to the crude in liver protection and enzyme decrease, and they have similar effect in lubricating bowel and promoting defecation.

Orthopedic Journal of China 2006;0(18):-
[Objective]To discuss the technique and outcome in the treatment of old nonunion of long bone fracture by using autologous fibula plate alone or combination with internal fixator plates.[Method]Fifty-seven patients(41 males and 16 females;average age of 41.6 years)with nonunion of long bone fracture were recruited.Of them 18 had short deformity(average 2.6 cm)and 12 had angled deformity(average 15?).Average time was 12 months(6-36 months). The sclerosed cortex was removed at both ends of the nonunion long bone.A suitable length of fibula plate were transplanted by screw with or without internal fixator plates.[Result]The follow-up average time was 3 years(ranged,1 to 6 years). At 1,3,6,12,24 months after operation, the outcome was analyzed by radiography.Bone healing was found in all 57 patients, with an average of 15 weeks(8-24 weeks). All the patients exhibited a good function in walking and burdening. No nonunion occurred.[Conclusion]Autologous fibula plate with or without internal fixator plates for nonunion of long bone fracture can facilitate healing and early functional recovery. This therapeutic method is an ideal technique in treating patients with nonunion of long bone fracture.

Chinese Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging 2015;35(1):41-43
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of 90Sr-90Y applicator treatment for hemangioma by superficial ultrasound. Methods A total of 94 infants with hemangioma were retrospectively analyzed, including 37 males and 57 females (age range:1-12 months, mean =4.5 months).Thickness of hemangioma was measured by superficial ultrasound on the day before 90Sr-90Y applicator treatment,10 d and 3 months after treatment.Paired t test and x2 test were used to analyze data.ROC curve was analyzed to determine the tumor thickness which could be cured by one-cycle of treatment. Results Sixty-two cases were cured,29 cases had partial response and 3 cases had treatment failure.Thickness of hemangioma was (0.38 ±0.28)cm before treatment and (0.16±0.35) cm 3 months post-treatment and the difference was statistically significant (t=7.377,P<0.05).The treatment effect of 90Sr-90Y applicator was not influenced by gender.According to the site of hemangioma, the curative rates were 20/38 in head & neck,22/33 in chest,20/23 in limbs.Only the difference between the curative rates in head & neck and limbs was statistically significant (x2 =7.478,P<0.05).The treatment effect of 90Sr-90Y applicator was evaluated by the thickness of hemangioma under the skin at 3 months post-treatment and the area under the ROC was 0.93.The threshold of the thickness of hemangioma which could be cured by one-cycle of treatment was 0.32 cm with the sensitivity of 93.8% and specificity of 85.5%.Conclusions The 90Sr-90Y applicator had a good treatment effect on pure hemangioma in infants, especially for those located in limbs and torso. The lesion with thickness less than 0.32 cm had a higher chance to be cured by one-cycle of treatment.

Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2003;9(3):151-152
ObjectiveTo study the efficacy of fluoxetine on improving depressive symptoms and activities of daily living(ADL) in early poststroke depressive patients.Methods42 early poststroke depressive patients (within 14 days after first stroke) were randomly divited into fluoxetine treatment group and control group (without antidepressive drugs).Evaluation was conducted before the treatment and at 4 and 6 weeks after treatment, using the Hamilton Depression scale(HAMD)and Barthel Index(BI).ResultsThere was no significant difference in HAMD and BI scores between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05).At 4 and 6 weeks after the treatment, compared with the control group, the fluoxetine treated group demonstrated significant reduced in HAMD scores (P<0.001) and significant improvement in BI scores (P<0.01).ConclusionsFluoxetine is an effictive drug in improving depressive symptoms and ADL in early postsroke depressive patients.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2014;(10):1465-1470
An on-site method for the determination of sulfur mustard ( SM) was developed based on pinhole shell-isolated nanoparticle-enhanced Raman spectroscopy. By using 0. 1 mol/L MgSO4 as effective agglomeration reagent, more Raman “hot spots” were induced, and thus a limit of detection for SM at 10 μg/L was achieved with a linearity of 10-1000 μg/L and an analytical enhanced factor of 1. 1×106. This method can be directly applied in the measurement of SM in environmental water samples with good sensitivity and reproducibility, and the standard addition recovery was between 88%-114%. Good differentiation of four SM related compounds, 2-chloroethyl ethylsulfide, thiodiglycol, bis-β-chloroethyl sulphoxide and bis-β-chloroethyl sulphone, was also obtained.

Objective To discuss the quality of life in the postoperative patients with aortic valve replacement (AVR) and related influencing factors .Methods The changes of preoperative and postoperative survival quality in 102 cases of AVR surgery were assessed by using the SF‐36 scale ,and the Logistic regression was used to analyze the impact of age ,effective valve orifice area and prosthetic valve on the quality of life .Results Five patients died during follow‐up .The relative baseline survey after postopera‐tive 1 year showed that the quality of life of patients was significantly improved ,the Logistic regression analysis revealed that a lar‐ger effective orifice area(EOA) and biological valve replacement could have higher health scale scores ,and showed a positive corre‐lation .Conclusion The quality of life in the postoperative patients with AVR is affected by the valve type and EOA of prosthetic valve .
