To compare the effects of immune enhancement, anti-fatigue and anoxia tolerance on mice of four kinds of dodder seeds in Shandong Province.

Objective: To study the contents of hyperoside in Semen Cuscutae,which grew in different host and different environment.Methods: Hyperoside was determined by HPLC.Results: The content of hyperoside is 0.28%-0.65% in the semen Cuscutae growing in different conditions in Shandong.The content is higher in semen of C.chinensis in Linyi,whose host is Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi.The content of hyperoside is lower in semen of C.australia which grew in Humulus scandens(lour.) Merr.The content has no obvious difference between C.chinensis and C.australis.Conclusions: The content of hyperoside in semen Cuscutae has relation with the hosts.The content increased with the seed mature degree.

Objective: To compare the effects of invigorating the kidney and strengthening yang on four kinds of Semen Custutae. Methods: Sexual organs of juvenile rat and shen yang deficiency rat were weighed to analyze its contents of SOD and MDA. Results: Alcohol extracts of four kinds of Semen Custutae have conspicuous effects on increasing weight of sexual organs. Water extracts of Semen Custutae have better effects on raising the contents of SOD and MDA and increasing weight of immune organs of shen yang deficiency rat. Conclusion: The effects of Cuscuta chinensis Lam. and C.australis R. Br. have better than that of C. japonica Choisy and C.lupuliformis Krockr in invigorating the kidney and strengthening yang.

Objective To explore the Diagnostic value of real-time three-dimensional ultrasound for urethral vaginal fistulas.Methods 5 patients with urethral vaginal fistulas were checked using real-time three-dimensional ul-trasound ,respectively by the abdomen and the sonographic appearance of pudendal observation of female urethral vagi -nal interval sagittal and transverse ,sagittal and transverse section by measuring the size of the fistula ,and voiding trial or colored liquid test injection from urethral to confirm .Results 5 cases of urethra,vagina ultrasonography can dis-play and urethral vaginal interval throughout the sagittal plane and different levels of cross section ,urethral vaginal in-terval by low echo-band-low echo constitute the sandwichsign in the fistula showed partial loss ,local band echo in-terruption,urethral and vaginal local fusion ,voiding trial or from the urethra into the colored liquid test further con-firmed the fistula,fistula and verify the existence of fistula after the operation the size .Conclusion Real time three-dimensional echocardiography by urethral vaginal interval in the axial and sagittal plane ultrasound at different levels , combining with the history and voiding trial or injected with colored liquid test from the urethra ,can provide a new i-dea for diagnosis of urethral vaginal fistula .

Objective: To explore the differences among contents of quercetin and kaempferol in four kinds of Semen Cuscutae in Shandong province. Methods : Quercetin and kaempferol are determined by HPLC. Results : The contents of both quercetin and kaempferol are lower in four kinds of Semen Cuscutae. The former is within 0.0002% to 0.0502% and the latter varies from 0.0002% to 0.0205%, respectively. In seeds of Cuscuta chinensis Lam., C. japonica Choisy and C.lupuliformis Krocker, quercetin contents are much higher than kaempferol contents. while in seed of C. australis R.Br., by contrast, its quercetin content is lower than kaempferol. The contents of quercetin and kaempferol have close relation with both the variety and the hostplant. Conclusion : HPLC can be used for the quality evaluation of Semen Cuscutae.

Objective To review the outcome of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) using left internal thoracic artery (LITA) grafts in these patients aged more than 70 years old.Methods 1471 patients aged more than 70 years old[mean (73.3 ± 3.9) years] from July 2010 through August 2012,who underwent CABG in Anzhen hospital,form the cohort of this study.Among them,1395 cases underwent off-pump CABG,while 76 cases underwent on-pump CABG which includes onpump beating heart CABG in 12 cases.The average number of the grafts is 3.12 ±0.68.All of the patients were divided into two groups on base of the graft:Group A:only saphenous vein graft was used in 564 cases; Group B:The left internal thoracic artery to the left anterior descending artery was used in 907 cases,which also include total arterial grafting,facilitated by the use of the radial artery,right gastroepiploic artery was operated in 42 cases,beside these artery grafts,saphenous vein graft was used to anastomosis with other vessels.Results Operative mortality was 2.12％ in group A and 2.09％ in group B.There was no significance between the 2 groups.The volume of blood drainage was larger in group B than that in group A.At the same time,there was no significance in the incidence rate of second thoractomy,malignant arrhythmia,stroke,poor wound healing,and usage of IABP between the 2 groups.Conclusion It did not increase the mortality and morbidity of serious complications using the left internal thoracic artery to the left anterior descending artery in those elderly patients aged more than 70 years old during the CABG operation.With consideration of the obvious advantages in the long term patency,LITA was proposed to be used in CABG even in those age ＞ 70 patients.

BACKGROUNDThe roles of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kappa B) and activating protein 1 (AP-1) become well-known in cell apoptosis and proliferation and oncogenesis. This study aims to explore expression of NF-kappa B and AP-1 in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), the relationship between them and their function on expression of cyclin D1 and caspase 3 in NSCLC.

METHODSProtein expression of NF-kappa B, AP-1 , cyclin D1 and caspase 3 was detected by Western blot and mRNA expression of cyclin D1 and caspase 3 by RT-PCR. Correlation between NF-kappa B and AP-1 was analyzed using bivariate correlate analysis.

RESULTSOf all 45 NSCLC patients, the expression of NF-kappa B and AP-1 in NSCLC was higher than that in normal lung tissues (0.6047 versus 0.2798, P < 0.01). Protein and mRNA expression of cyclin D1 in lung cancer tissues with higher NF-kappa B and AP-1 protein expression was higher than in those with lower NF-kappa B and AP-1 protein expression (P < 0.01), while protein and mRNA expression of caspase 3 in lung cancer tissues with higher NF-kappa B and AP-1 protein expression was lower than in those with lower NF-kappa B and AP-1 protein expression (P < 0.01). There was significant correlation between NF-kappa B and AP-1 (r=0.800, P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONSTranscription factors, NF-kappa B and AP-1 may play important roles in oncogenesis and development of NSCLC.

Objective To investigate the aerodynamic characteristics of vocal polyps and vocal nodules.Methods Aerodynamic parameters of 58 patients with vocal polyps or vocal nodules and 30 normal adults were measured by Aerophone Ⅱ Voice Function Analyzer.The mean airflow rate,intraoral pressure,glottal resistance,glottal efficiency were compared among different group.Results The mean airflow rate,glottal resistance and glottal efficiency of vocal polyps,vocal nodules and normal adult were 254.50±36.02 ml/s,33.55±4.63 cmH_2O/(L·S),2.46±1.49,177.45±25.93 ml/s,38.83±8.88 cmH_2O/(L·S),7.75±3.71,118.44±29.98 ml/s,53.04±8.64 cmH_2O/(L·S),9.17±3.87,respectively.The difference between them was significant(P＜0.01).The difference of intraoral pressure between vocal polyps (8.97±1.36 cmH_2O) and normal adult (6.24±0.99 cmH_2O) was significant (P＜0.01).The mean airflow rate,glottal resistance,glottal efficiency were significantly different between vocal polyps and vocal nodules(P＜0.01).Conclusion The degree of vocal fold adduct and the effciency of voice production in vocal polyps is worse than that of vocal nodules.The aerodynamic parameters can make quantifiable,objective assessment in voice function of vocal polyps and vocal nodules.

Objective To explore the clinic value of the vocal acoustics on voice evaluation in larynx leukoplakia pa?tients. Methods Dr. Speech software was used to perform voice acoustic analysis and deduce EGG parameters in 48 sub?jects with larynx leukoplakia and 50 normal subjects. Voice acoustic analysis parameters (Jitter, Shimmer, NNE, HNR, SNR, MPT), EGG parameters ( EGG-Jitter、EGG-Shimmer、EGG-NNE、EGG-HNR、EGG-SNR, CQP,CIP) and EGG wave?form were compared between two groups. Results For voice acoustic analysis, Jitter, Shimmer, NNE in larynx leukoplakia group were higher than those in normal group while HNR, SNR in larynx leukoplakia group were lower than those of normal group. What’s more,MPT in larynx leukoplakia group was obviously shorter than that in normal group with, statistically sig?nificant difference (P<0.05). For EGG analysis, EGG-Jitter, EGG-Shimmer, EGG-NNE were higher in larynx leukoplakia group than those in normal group with significant difference (P<0.05). EGG-HNR and EGG-SNR in larynx leukoplakia group were lower than those in normal group. Furthermore, CQP and CIP in larynx leukoplakia group were higher than those normal group with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Most patients’(72.9%) EGG waveform showed gradually ac?celerate phase velocity and fast close phase, which represent a spike-like shape. Conclusion Voice acoustic analysis com?bined with EGG provide objective indicators to assess degree of hoarseness, and to provide sonic evidences for prevention, recurrence, assessment and pronunciation correction of the larynx leukoplakia.

Objective This study reviews the 198 consecutive mitral valve operations for elderly patients(＞ 65 y) with ischemic mitral insufficiency performed at Anzhen Hospital between January 2000 and june 2016.The results for mitral valve reconstruction are compared with those for biological mitral valve replacement.Methods From January 2000 to June 2016,198 elderly patients with ischemic mitral insufficiency underwent mitral valve reconstruction (n =150) or biological mitral valve replacement(n =48).All of them coronary artery bypass gafting was performed at the same time.Preoperative clinical characteristics,procedural characteristics,major and minor complications after surgery,preoperative and postoperative left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) by echocardiography,and outcome (survivor or death,mitral regurgitation,NYHA degree) were assessed.Results There was no significant difference between the two groups in the rate of mortality during hospitalization and early postoperative cardiac function.The proportion of severe MR in 1,3,and 5 years after MVP were 5.1％ 、6.3％、7.7％ respectively.There was no MVR due to the recurrent moderate-to-severe reflux.There were 2 SBE but no reflux appeared after MVR.There was no significant difference in cardiac function and mortality between the two groups within 5 years.Conclusion There is no significant difference between CABG + MVP and CABG + MVR(BV) in cardiac function and mortality in the treatment of elderly patients with IMR.,There was a possibility of MR recurrence after CABG + MVP.There was no MR after CABG + MVR(BV),but the risk of SBE is higher than MVP.We can select operation mode personalized according to the type of mitral valve disease and cardiac function.
