In this paper,the authors reviewed 141 cases of senile gastric carcinoma,with 23 cases followed up.The clinical features,and the relationship between the longth of the course and the resection rate of the tumor have been analysed retrospectively.The results show that gas- tric carcinoma in the aged pepole has a characteristic of a longer history and higher resectable possibility,it is mainly from the canceration of gastric ulcer,well differentiated and low metastatic,and has a favourable prognosis and longer survival.Important suggestions to im- prove its resection rate and survival rate include making a follow-up gastroscopy for the aged pepole with a longer history of gastric diseases or peptic ulcers.For the aged patients who are over 50 with a long history of gastric ulcer or chronic intractable atrophic gastritis,it is rec- ommended to employ the surgery of gastrectomy and the R_Ⅱ mode of operation is of choice, and chemotherapy should be followed.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the effect of mixing herbal injections with transfusion fluid on production of insoluble particles.METHODS:To detect the amount of insoluble particles before and after mixing herbal injections with transfusion fluid with ZWF-4 particule counter.RESULTS:The insoluble particles increased obviously.CONCLUSION:It should be paid great attention to the increase of insoluble particles after mixing,as well as the relationship between the insoluble particles and adverse reactions.

To explore and identify the therapeutic components of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) as a complex intervention through grounded theory, and the correlation and interaction within this model and the possible effects that they may have on the therapeutic effects of TCM.

Clinical trials play a critical role in medical research. However, only a few clinical trials conducted at present have been registered at various clinical trial registries. Clinical trial registration can prevent bias in these registered trials effectively and avoid unnecessary waste of resources due to meaningless repeats. Moreover, it will benefit the development of evidence-based medicine, and promote human welfare. Great attention has been paid to the importance and necessity of clinical trial registration. This review briefly introduced the definition, justification, contents, history, current status of clinical trial registration, and introduced the information regarding important international clinical trial registries in detail. Clinical trial registration should be developed toward a transparent, compulsory and comprehensive stage.

ObjectiveTo explore the effects of personality characteristics and mental health of students on the career orientation.MethodsThe method of stratified random sampling was used in three universities of Jiangxi province.501 subjects of Arts,Science and Medical Science were tested with Holland career orientation test,symptom check list(SCL-90) and 16 personality factors(16PF).Structure validity analysis,analysis of variance and t -value test were employed with LISREL8.70 and SPSS13.0.Results ( 1 ) The proportion of students choosed the type of occupation were:social type 36％,management type 18％,conventional type 17％,reality type 14％,investigation type 9％,artistic type 6％ ; (2) Career orientation,personality characteristics and mental health had moderate effect on the career orientation.The correlation coefficients of personality characteristics and mental health to the vocational orientation were 0.63 and 0.44.The interaction correlation coefficient was 0.56.ConclusionPersonality characteristics and mental health of college students are important factors to the career orientation and decision-making of job seeking.The personality has stronger explanatory power than mental health.Great emphasis should be paid on both short-term psychological health of college students and long-term cultivation of healthy personality in the employment psychological guidance.

The controlling system of triple pulse vacuum sterilizer for dental use adopts PIC single-chip computer as the controller. The information related to stream temperature and pressure of the stream and liquid mixture in the hermetic vessel is acquired and controlled. Linearization measurements of the temperature and pressure and fuzzy control technology are all involved in. The experiment result shows that the controlling system makes the sterilizer free from overshoot, steady-state error and non-robustness.

Objective To investigate the changes of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty on the auditory function in adult patients with severe obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS).The possible mechanism of hypoxemia was analyzed,and hypercapnia might affect auditory function and the effect of operation to hearing was improved.Methods A total of 82 adult patients who were made a diagnosis by polysomnography (PSG) with severe OSAHS had been diagnosed by pure tone audiometry,tympa-nometry,auditory brainstem responses (ABR),and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) before and 6 months after surgical treatments.The control group included 43 non-snoring healthy people through the same line of the above test.Results (1)Among 82 patients who underwent uvulopalatopharyngoplasty,symptoms were resolved in 51 patients,significantly improved in 24 patients,and somewhat improved in7 patients at 6 months followed-up,yielding a total effective rate of 100％.(2)There were no significant differences in hearing threshold across 250 to 4 000 Hz on pure tone audiometry between OSAHS and control groups (P ＞ 0.05),although hearing thresholds at high frequencies showed significant differences (P ＜ 0.05).(3)The latencies of ABR waves Ⅰ and Ⅴ in the OSAHS group were significantly longer than control group (P ＜ 0.05).The interpeak lantency intervals of wave Ⅲ ～ Ⅴ in patients with OSAHS were longer than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).No significant difference was showed before and after surgery (P ＞ 0.05).(4)Distortion product otoacoustic emission (DPOAE) detection rate and amplitudes at all frequencies were poorer in OSAHS group before surgery compared with the control group (P ＜ 0.05),and significant changes were found after surgical treatments (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions OSAHS can impair auditory function,probably from chronic hypoxia,which can be improved by surgical treatment in adult patients with severe OSAHS.

[Objective]To evaluate the value of ECT in diagnosing and treatment the spinal tuberculosis.[Method]ECT by injecting 99Tcm-MDP to human body was used to know the developing of focus in spinal tuberculosis and whether other bone and joints tuberculosis were complicating simultaneously.[Result]The developing of 175 patients were positive,including multi-vertebral bodies tuberculosis 146 cases,which were composed of 2 vertebral bodies 78 case,3 vertebral bodies 26 cases,4 vertebral bodies and more 42 cases.Complicating tuberculosis of bones and joints 22 cases,articulatio sacroiliaca 29 cases.[Conclusion]ECT plays an important role in diaognosing the spinal tuberculosis and the tuberculose focus of body can be found and has the guidance for doctors to formulate the therapeutic regimem of spinal tuberculosis.

5 mm had surgery in 100%. Conclusion Most severe CHD could be detected prenatally by fetal echocardiography, and the pregnancy should be terminated. The critical NCHD should be diagnosed by echocardiography for corrective or palliative surgery as early as possible in the first days of life. In mild cases of left to right shunts may close spontaneously, they should be followed up regularly.

Objective To analyze the related factors,and discuss the causes and prevention measures of pharyngocutaneous fistula caused by total laryngectomy.Methods The complete chnical data of 118 patients underwent laryngeal ancer surgery were analyzed retrospectively.Analyzed the relationship between pharyngocutaneous fistula and the factors of sex,age,pre-operative nutrition states,preoperative radiotherapy,prior tracheotomy,neck dissection,tumor position,clinical stage of tumor,patho-staging,post-operative infection comobidity with analysis of single factor.Results Among the 118 cases of laryngeal carcinoma,17 cases were pharyngocutaneous fistula after operation,the incidence was 14.4％ (17/118).According to the statistical analysis results,the predominant influencing factors in the causation of pharyngocutaneous fistula were:pre-operative nutrition states,pre-operative radiotherapy,clinical stage of tumor and post-operative infection.Concusion Pharyngocutaneous fistula after total laryngectomy is related to many factors,avoiding the above mentioned factors can reduce the rate of fistula and improve the life quality.
