Acta Anatomica Sinica 1989;0(S1):-
This report presents microscopic observation on morphological and immuno- cytochemical characteristics of the trophoblast cells of the human decidua at the implantation site in the first trimester pregnancy .The infiltration of a unique type of large cells different from cytotrophoblast (CT) and syncytotrophoblast (ST) was found in the decidua at the implantation site. These unique cells are termed inter- mediate trophoblast (IT). They are typically mononucleate, but may be binucleate or multinucleate. The mononucleate cells vary in shape from round, polyhedral spindle shaped. Their cytoplasm is typically abundant and eosinophilic or amphophilic. The nuclei may vary in size and shape. These cells usually distribute around the spiral arterioles, differse blood vessel wall, penetrate into the lumen, and even replace the blood vessel wall totally. Immunocytochemically, both these cells and ST are stained positive for HCG and HPL. However, the HCG-stained Cell population of IT.is much lower than that of ST,while the of HPL stained cell population of IT is significantly higher than that of ST.On the other hand, neither HCG nor HPL are positive in CT. The results of SP-1 ?-HCG usually go with those of HCG.in CT, ST and IT.The PAPP-A gives non specific staining result. It is believed that IT,with its distinct morphological and immunocytochemical feats,is regarded as a transitional form in the shift from CT to ST.

Objective To compare the advantages and disadvantages of cerebral angiography through the radial artery and the femoral artery approaches. Methods According to the approach way, 82 patients were divided into two groups: femoral artery group and radial artery group. After cerebral angiography the puncture time, the successful rate of puncture, the X-ray exposure time, the time of procedure and the complication of puncture site were compared between the two groups. Results In femoral artery group, the successful rate was higher and the time of puncture was shorter, but the complication was higher than that of radial artery group. Conclusions For cerebral angiography, through radial artey approach is feasible and safe better to be adopted for the elderly or the prescheduled case, but the femoral artery approach is suitable for the emergency.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(41):6719-6724
BACKGROUND:As mesenchymal stem cells are commonly used as seed cells in studies of regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, the regulatory mechanism of their biological characteristics is a current research focus. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the regulations of Wnt signaling pathway on proliferation, senescence and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. METHODS:PubMed database and CNKI database were retrieved by computer using the key words of“mesenchymal stem cells, Wnt signaling pathway, proliferation, senescence, differentiation”in Chinese and English, respectively, between 2002 and 2014. Final y, 44 articles were included in result analysis. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Wnt signaling pathway is widely involved in the regulations of the biological characteristics of mesenchymal stem cells. Canonical Wnt signaling pathway reveals a bi-directional regulation effect on cellproliferation and osteogenic differentiation, and enhances senescence and neural differentiation, but inhibits adipogenic differentiation;non-canonical Wnt signaling pathway enhances senescence and osteogenic differentiation, and inhibits proliferation and adipogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells, but it takes no part in neural differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. So the regulations of Wnt signaling pathway on the biological characteristics of mesenchymal stem cells can be used as the new therapeutic targets of bone tissue engineering, nerve injury repair, and so on.

Aim To examine the effect of ? opioid receptor agonist U50488H on the levels of interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-8(IL-8) from angiotensinⅡ(AngⅡ) stimulated endothelial cells. Methods In the in vivo study, the modulation of U50488H(1.5 mg?kg~-1) intravenously on the level of AngⅡ was evaluated. In the in vitro study, endothelial cells from human umbilical vein(HUVEC) were cultured and divided into four groups:Control group,AngⅡ group, and AngⅡ plus U50488H and/or nor-BNI(a selective ? opioid receptor antagonist) group. These groups were treated respectively with phosphate buffered solution(PBS),AngⅡ(10~-9~10~-5 mol?L~-1),and AngⅡ in the presence of U50488H and/or nor-BNI for 0~24 hours.Culture supernatant and endothelial cells were collected at 0,3,6,12 and 24 h.IL-6 and IL8 levels in culture supernatant were measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Results The level of AngⅡ in the blood was significantly decreased following U50488H intravenously, which was blocked by nor-BNI administration(2 mg?kg~-1).AngⅡ stimulated the productions of IL-6 and IL-8 from HUVEC in the dose-dependent and time-dependent manners.U50488H at 10~-5 mol?L~-1 significantly inhibited this process, and the inhibitory effect of U50488H was blocked by nor-BNI,which itself had no effect. Conclusion ? opioid receptor may play a role in the process of anti-inflammation via down regulation of AngⅡ level and inhibition of the AngⅡ-stimulated IL-6 and IL-8 productions from endothelium cells.
