Chinese Journal of Experimental Ophthalmology 2015;33(12):1060-1063
IgG4 related disease (IgG4-RD) is a systemic disease which was named and accepted in recent years.IgG4-RD is a multiorgan-involved disease, mainly including pancrease, parotid gland, bile duct, liver, etc.The study on the relationship between IgG4 and orbital disease is relatively few.In recent years, our study group aimed directly to the relationship between IgG4 and common orbital disease, including benign lymphoepithelial lesion of lacrimal gland, idiopathic orbital inflammatory pseudotumor, orbital lymphoma, etc.We found that IgG4 was associated with the pathogenesis and progression of these diseases. This article addressed systematically the pathogenesis of IgG4 related orbital disease and evaluated the values of IgG4 in diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment and montoring of these orbital diseases based on related literature and reseaching results from our study group,in order to deepen the recognition of IgG4 related orbital diseases in ophthalmologists.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(36):6388-6395
BACKGROUND:Mechanical signal has close correlation with the growth, development, repair and reconstruction of the skeletal system and the development of disease, the effect and the mechanism on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s is worthy to concern.
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect and mechanism of hydrostatic pressures on the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s.
METHODS:Short-term experiment:the human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s were incubated into the normal Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium, osteogenic medium or the Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium containing extracel ular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 inhibitor U0126, respectively. Homemade pressure loading system was used to impose 0, 40 and 80 kPa hydrostatic pressure for 1 and 4 hours. Long-term experiment:human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s were incubated into the normal Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium or osteogenic medium respectively, and then 40 kPa hydrostatic pressures was loaded for 4 hours per day, and lasted for 14 days. The cel s without hydrostatic pressure were regarded as the control group.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR results showed that after osteogenic induction and simulated with 40 kPa hydrostatic pressure for 4 hours, the mRNA expressions of core binding factorα1 and osteocalcin in the bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s were increased, while the mRNA expressions of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ2 and adipsin were decreased, and the 80 kPa hydrostatic pressure did not cause such reactivity. The osteogenic induction effect of 40 kPa hydrostatic pressure could be partial antagonized with U0126. Histochemical staining showed that after simulated with 40 kPa hydrostatic pressure for 7 days, the expression and activity of alkaline phosphatase of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s were increased;after lasted for 14 days, the mRNA expressions of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγ2 and adipsin were increased. Certain intensity and duration of hydrostatic pressure stimulation can regulate the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cel s, and the mechanism is only partly mediated by the extracel ular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 signaling pathway.

Objective A retrospective cohort study was carried out to observe the long-term effect of ESD in treating early gastrointestinal cancer or precancerous lesions. Methods The clinical and follow-up data of 73 patients were collected. Kaplan-Meier, Log-rank and Breslow test and Cox's proportional hazards regression model were used to analyze the data. Results The median survival time in the gastric and colo-rectal early cancer or precancerous lesions is longer than 65 months in our study, respectively. For esophagus, the median survival time was 44.5 months; the disease free survival time (DFS) after ESD was significantly reduced in the esophagus, compared to the stomach and colo-rectum (χ2 = 12.61, P = 0.000; χ2 = 7.09, P = 0.008); the degree of atypia (or infiltration), and lesion size were considered to be two factors to influence the DFS after ESD (P = 0.027, OR^ =2.38, 95%CI:1.10 ~ 5.12, P = 0.074, 95%CI; OR^ =0.90, 95%CI: 0.80 ~ 1.01). Conclusion ESD is an effective curative treatment in the resection of early upper gastrointestinal cancer and precancerous lesions. The degree of atypia (or infiltration) was concluded as an independent risk factor for the DFS post-ESD, and the size of lesion was a valuable parameter with regard to the recurrence after ESD procedure.

Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology 2010;30(5):608-611
Objective To investigate the effects of edaranvone on lung injury induced by myocardial ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) in rats. Methods Twenty-four male Wistar rats weighing 250-300 g were randomly assigned to one of 4 groups ( n = 6 each): group Ⅰ sham operation (group S); group Ⅱ myocardial I/R and group Ⅲ and Ⅳ different doses of edaravone ( group E1, E2 ). The animals were anesthetized, intubated and mechanically ventilated. In group Ⅱ-Ⅳ myocardial I/R was induced by occlusion of left anterior descending coronary artery for 45 min followed by 3 h reperfusion. In group Ⅲ and Ⅳ edavarone 3 and 10 mg/kg was administered via right femoral vein at 1 min before reperfusion respectively. The animals were sacrificed by exsanguination at the end of 3 h reperfusion. Blood was collected for determination of serum CK-MB activity and total protein content. The left lung was lavaged and the broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) was colleted for determination of protein content. Pulmonary permeability index (PPI) was calculated. The lung tissue was obtained for determination of BD-2 mRNA and protein and TNF-α expression. Results The serum CK-MB activity, PPI,BD-2 mRNA and protein and TNF-α expression were significantly higher in group I/R, E1 and E2 than in group S,but significantly lower in group E1 and E2 than in group I/R and in group E2 than in group E1. Conclusion Edaravone can reduce myocardial I/R-induced lung injury by scavenging oxygen free radicals and inhibiting inflammatory response of lung tissues in rats.

OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of Thymalfasin for injection on the apoptosis of human lung cancer A549 cells. METHODS:After treated with 0(blank control),25,50,100,200 and 400 mg/L Thymalfasin for injection for 24,48 and 72 h, the cell proliferation inhibitory rate was analyzed with MTT and calculated. After treated with 0(blank control),50 and 100 mg/L Thymalfasin for injection for 48 h,cell apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry, and the expression of Caspase-3,Bcl-2 and Bax and the phosphorylation level of Akt were deteced by Western blot. RESULTS:Compared with blank control group, proliferation in-hibitory rate of A549 cells increased after treated with Thymalfasin for injection,in concentration and time-dependent manner(P<0.05). The apoptotic rate of A549 cells increased after treated with Thymalfasin for injection 50,100 mg/L for 48 h (P<0.05). The expression of Caspase-3 increased while the Bcl-2/Bax and phosphorylation level of Akt decreased in A549 cells after treated with Thymalfasin for injection 100 mg/L (P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS:Thymalfasin for injection can inhibit the proliferation of A549 cells by activating Caspase-3,decreasing Bcl-2/Bax ratio, inhibiting Akt signal pathway and induce the apoptosis of A549 cells.
