Chinese Journal of Interventional Imaging and Therapy 2017;14(9):543-547
Objective To investigate the value of CEUS quantitative analysis in diagnosis of different pathological stages of small hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Methods Data of 112 patients with HCC confirmed by surgical or biopsy were analyzed retrospectively. All the diameter of single tumor or the sum of the largest two lesions in multiple tumors were within 3 cm.Three groups were classified based on the Edmonson stage:High differentiation group (n=50,stage Ⅰ or Ⅱ),median differentiation group (n=30,stage Ⅲ),low differentiation group (n=32,stage Ⅳ).Qontraxt ultrasound imaging analysis software was utilized to measure CEUS parameters, including the maximum intensity of tumor (TMAX),nontumor's intensity (NT),maximum intensity of nontumor (NTMAX),appear time, time to peak, washout time, and the ratio of TMAX/NT and TMAX/NTMAX were calculated. The differences among the three groups was compared by statistics test. Results The values of TMAX,TMAX/NTMAX and washout time were statistically different among the three groups (all P<0.05).The maximum values of TMAX,TMAX/NTMAX and the shortest washout time were found in the low differentiation group. And the minimum values of TMAX,TMAX/NTMAX and the longest washout time were found in the high differentiation group. There were no statistical differences of NT,NTMAX,TMAX/NT,appear time and time to peak among the three groups (all P>0.05).Conclusion The quantitative parameters of CEUS is helpful in distinguishing different Edmonson stage of small HCC.

Objective To investigate the clinical significance of fetal tricuspid regurgitation (TR) in the screening of chromosomal abnormalities at the first-trimester. Methods Screening for chromosomal abnormalities was carried out in 1 262 fetuses at 11+0 to 13+6 weeks. Ultrosound was performed to measure crown rump length and nuchal translucency (NT) thickness, and to acquire tricuspid waveform. All the neonates were followed up for 6 months after birth. Results Among the 1 262 fetuses, 68 were found to have TR. TR was present in 54 (4.4%) of the 1 239 chromosomally normal fetuses, and in 14 (61%) of the 23 with chromosomal abnormalities. Cardiac malformations were detectable in 28 fetuses. The prevalence of TR was 64%in those with cardiac malformations and 1.5%in those without cardiac malformations. Conclusions Tricuspid regurgitation is an effective predictor for the detection of fetal chromosomal abnormalities at the first trimester.

China Pharmacy 2015;26(33):4672-4674
OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the efficacy of Qijiao shengbai capsule in the adjuvant treatment of leukope-nia,and provide evidence-based reference for the clinical treatment. METHODS:Retrieved from CJFD,VIP,Wanfang Database and Medline and EMBase, randomized controlled trials(RCT) about the efficacy of Qijiao shengbai capsule (test group) versus blank control(control group) in the adjuvant treatment of leucopenia were collected. Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.2 software after the quality assessment and data extraction. RESULTS:A total of 15 RCTs were included, involving 1 383 patients. Results of Meta-analysis showed the total effective rate [OR=0.31,95%CI(0.23,0.43),P<0.001],obvious effective rate [OR=0.31,95%CI(0.24,0.41),P<0.001],leukocyte count [MD=-1.04,95%CI(-1.10,-0.98),P<0.001] and myelosuppres-sion reduction [OR=0.27,95%CI(0.14,0.52),P<0.001] in test group were significantly higher than control group, there were sig-nificant differences. Only 9 patients had adverse reactions of mild diarrhea, nausea and other symptoms, and it relieved after symp-tomatic treatment. CONCLUSIONS:Qijiao shengbai capsule has achieve good efficacy in the adjuvant treatment of leukopenia. Due to the limits of quality and sample size, more strict designed,long-term follow-up of large scale RCTs are needed for the fur-ther verification of the conclusion.

OBJECTIVE:To systematically review the effectiveness and safety of Yinzhihuang oral liquid in the adjuvant treat-ment of neonatal jaundice, and provide evidence-based reference for clinical treatment. METHODS:Retrieved from CJFD,VIP Da-tabase,Wanfang Database,Medline and EMBase, randomized controlled trials(RCT)about the effectiveness of Yinzhihuang oral liquid(test group)based on the canventional treatment(control group)in the adjuvant treatment of neonatal jaundice were collect-ed,and Meta-analysis was performed by using Rev Man 5.2 software after data extracting and quality evaluating by modified Jadad. RESULTS:Totally 12 RCTs were enrolled, involving 1585 patients. Results of Meta-analysis showed total effective rate [OR=0.19,95%CI(0.12,0.30),P<0.001],serum total bilirubin levels [MD=-40.78,95%CI(-42.68,-38.89),P<0.001] and time of bilirubin decreased to normal [MD=-2.56,95%CI(-2.72,-2.40),P<0.001] in test group were significantly better than control group, the differences were statistically significant between 2 groups;3 reports of adverse reactions showed scme children had vomiting and mild diarrhea, they were improved after symptomatic treatment, and it did not affect the treatment. CONCLU-SIONS:The effectiveness of Yinzhihuang oral liquid is good in the adjuvant treatment of neonatal jaundice, with mild adverse reac-tions.

Aim To pick out the siRNA which could most effectively inhibit the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor( BDNF) in microglial cells,to detect the cytotoxicity of the transfection complex, and to ob-serve the change of OX-42 expression, the microglial marker, after BDNF siRNA treatment. Methods Four siRNAs were chemically synthesized: three of them were used to inhibit BDNF expression in microglial cells, the rest was fluorescence-labeled mismatch siRNA as a negative control. They were all transfected into microglial cells, respectively. BDNF mRNA was detected 24 h after transfection by Real-Time PCR and itsprotein expression was observed done by Western blot 48 h later. The Sulforhodamine B( SRB) assay was used to investigate the drug-induced cytotoxicity. Co-expres-sion pattern of BDNF and OX-42 was determined by double-labeling immunofluorescence. Results ① The BDNF siRNA1588 was the most effective siRNA,compared with the vehicle or mismatch siRNA-treated group( P

The incidence of breast cancer is increasing year by year, and its pathogenesis is highly complex. The dysregulation of gut microbiota function is closely related to the occurrence and development of breast cancer. The estrogen levels through enterohepatic circulation is regulated by β-glucuronidase produced by the gut microbiota, thereby influencing the occurrence and development of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer and leading to tamoxifen resistance. The metabolites from the gut microbiota, such as short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)and lithocholic acid(LCA),can participate in regulating the tumor cell cycles and cell proliferation. The colonization of gut microbiota maintains the integrity of the intestinal barrier and regulates the anti-tumor immunity mediated by T lymphocytes.Maintaining gut microbiota homeostasis can enhance the efficacy of tumor chemotherapy and immunotherapy and reduce the adverse reactions in anti-tumor treatments. The targeted action of engineered probiotics in immunotherapy can improve the precision of drug treatment. The effect of gut microbiota on radiotherapy is not yet clear, but regulating gut microbiota can aid in the treatment of radiation enteritis. This review discusses the correlation and effect of gut microbiota on breast cancer and analyzes its role in the treatment of breast cancer.
