Objective To analyze the adverse drug reactions(ADRs)of edaravone in treatment of patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)by reviewing Chinese medical literature and to evaluate safety of edaravone treatment in ACI.Methods Publications from Pubmed and Chinese Biomedical Literature Datababe(CBMdisc)were reviewed and the ADR of edaravone was analyzed among the published 8645 cases.Literatures about randomed-control clinical trails(RCTs)on security of edaravone for treating ACI Was analyzed by meta-analysis.Results Abnormal hepatic function, especially mild elevation of aminotransferase, renal dysfunction and skin rash induced by edaravone were tIle most common ADRs.Among 8645 patients,ADRs were reported in 283(3.27 % ).The meta-analysis in RCTs showed that between the group treated with a combination of edaravone and routine and the group treated with routine treatment only, there was no significant difference in the occurrence rate of ADRs(OR=1.18,95 % CI0.70-2.00,P=0.536),elevation of aminotransferase(OR=1.23,95 % CI 0.57-2.68,P=0.595)or renal dysfunction including albuminutia, increased level of serum ereatinine and nitrogen(OR=1.65.95 % CI0.57- 4.79.P=0.353).Conclusion Edaravone has a low ADRs OCCurrence rate and iS safely used in cerebral infarction treatment.

Objective To investigate the effect of emergency nursing pathway in emergency treatment of patients with questionable sources. Methods A clinical nursing pathway for the treatment for patients with questionable sources was formulated. From February to December 2014, 78 patients with questionable sources treated by clinical nursing pathway were selected as the observation group. From January to November 2013, 75 patients with questionable sources treated by routine nursing care methods were selected as the control group. Differences were compared in duration of staying in the emergency department, nursing complication and fees paid rate between the two groups. Results For the average duration of staying in the emergency department, the observation group was lower than that in the control group [19.35%(9.08) vs. 19.90%(25.20), P< 0.05)]. For the nursing complication rate, the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group [1.28%(1/78) vs.10.67%(8/75), P<0.05]. For the fees paid rate, the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group [64.10%(50/78) vs. 33.33%(25/75), P<0.01]. Conclusions By the emergency nursing pathway, emergent patients with questionable sources will be treated with satisfactory result in the shortest time.

AIM: To investigate the effects of insulin on aortic constriction caused by endothelin-1(ET-1) in normal and hyperglycemic rats. METHODS: Hyperglycemic rat models were prepared. Two aortic rings were immersed in the Krebs-Hensleit fluid with and without insulin (40 mIU/L) and the responses of rings to 10 -9 mol/L ET-1 were observed. RESULTS:ET-1 induced more obvious aortic ring constriction in normal rats than those in hyperglycemic rats ( P

Chinese Journal of Medical Genetics 2020;37(10):1101-1103
OBJECTIVE:
To study the distribution of α- and β -thalassemia-related mutations in Pingxiang area of Jiangxi Province, China.
METHODS:
PCR and reverse dot blotting (PCR-RDB) were carried out to detect common mutations of α and β globin genes among 2558 individuals with positive results of primary screening.
RESULTS:
The PCR-RDB assay has identified 1222 carriers of thalassemia-related mutations, which yielded a detection rate of 47.8%. Among these, 645 individuals (including homozygous patients) have carried α globin gene mutations, with the common types including -αSEA/αα, -α/αα and -α/αα. 539 individuals have carried β globin gene mutations, with the common types including IVS-Ⅱ-654, CD41-42, CD17, CD28, CD27-28, βE, and CD71-72. Thirty eight individuals (1.5%) have carried α and β globin gene mutations simultaneously.
CONCLUSION
The carrier rate for α and β globin gene mutations in Jiangxi is high. Attention should be paid to newborn screening as part of the birth defect prevention and control program in order to reduce the birth rate of thalassemia in this region.

Objective:To explore the status quo of exercise rehabilitation attitudes and compliance in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and analyze the influencing factors, so as to provide evidence for improving the compliance of rehabilitation exercise in CABG patients. Methods:From January to August 2022, convenience sampling was used to select 228 patients with CABG in three ClassⅢ Grade A hospitals in Urumqi City as the survey subject. One month after surgery, a questionnaire survey was conducted using the General Information and Disease Information Questionnaire, the Questionnaire of Rehabilitation Exercises (QRE), the Chinese version of the Tampa Scale of Kinesiophobia for the Heart (TSK Heart), and the Chinese version of the Multidimensional Fatigue Symptom Inventory-Short Form (MFSI-SF-C). This study conducted a latent category analysis of rehabilitation exercise attitudes and compliance among CABG patients, and identified the influencing factors of their latent categories through Logistic regression. A total of 220 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective recovery rate of 96.49% (220/228) .Results:The fitting results of latent category analysis showed that the rehabilitation exercise attitudes and compliance of 220 CABG patients could be divided into 4 latent categories, which were respectively named as: excellent attitude-excellent compliance group, good attitude-single exercise group, moderate attitude-poor compliance group, poor attitude-poor compliance group. Logistic regression showed that education level, nationality, pain, exercise fear and fatigue were independent influencing factors for the latent categories of exercise rehabilitation attitudes and compliance in CABG patients ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Postoperative exercise rehabilitation attitudes and compliance in CABG patients have 4 latent categories, and patient education level, nationality, pain, exercise fear and fatigue are all factors that affect compliance. Medical and nursing workers should formulate targeted interventions based on influencing factors to improve the compliance of exercise rehabilitation in patients with CABG.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the expression of cyclin D1 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and squamous cell carcinoma and its relationship with human papillomavirus 16 (HPV16) E7 gene expression.
METHODSBoth SiHa and Hcc94 cell lines were obtained from cervical epithelial cells of squamous cell carcinoma. E6/E7 gene was silent in Hcc94 cell line.Expression levels of cyclin D1 mRNA and protein in CIN and squamous cell carcinoma were detected by QT-PCR and immunohistochemistry (IHC) respectively. SiRNA was constructed for targeting the promoter of HPV16 E7 and then transfected into SiHa cells to establish cm-16 line with stable silencing of E7. Control cell line B3 was obtained by blank plasmid transfection into SiHa cells. RT-PCR and Western blot were used to detect cyclin D1 mRNA and protein expression in the SiHa, B3, and cm-16 cells, respectively.
RESULTSCyclin D1 was expressed in the basal cells of normal cervical squamous epithelia and the expression gradually decreased in the progression from CIN1 to CIN3. Squamous cell carcinoma showed negative or scattered expression of cyclin D1 (P<0.05). Both mRNA and protein of cyclin D1 in E7(+) SiHa cells were lower than those in cm-16 and Hcc94 cells.
CONCLUSIONSquamous cell carcinoma with high HPV E7 expression shows low level of cyclin D1, suggesting that HPV16 E7 gene inhibits the expression of cyclin D1.
