Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2014;31(6):1250-1254
It is very difficult for stroke patients to complete the action of squatting-standing because their equilibrium function ability has been seriously declined. It was necessary, therefore, to do a deep research on the action of human squatting-standing and to set up an accurate model and simulation. In our modeling research, the movements of upper limbs and head was neglected, and a seven-segment model was developed to establish the coordinate system of human squatting-standing action. It calculated the knee joint moment and hip joint moment during squatting and standing by utilizing Lagrange method, and then simulated this mathematical model by utilizing Matlab. Geometric model of human squatting-standing was developed and simulated in ADAMS which proved that the established Lagrange model was reasonable. It would also provide significant theoretical references for further study and development of squatting-standing rehabilitation training equipment.

China Pharmacy 2015;26(35):5010-5011
OBJECTIVE:To observe therapeutic efficacy and safety of carboprost tromethamine in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage with two routes of administration. METHODS:285 patients with postpartum hemorrhage were randomly divided into control group(143 cases)and trial group(142 cases). Control group was given Carboprost tromethamine injection 250 μg on del-toid of arm;trial group was given same dose of Carboprost tromethamine injection via cervix uteri. Both groups received medicine after third stage of labor. The therapuetic efficacy, the amount of endometrorrhagia and colporrhagia within 2 h,the incidence of ADR after labor were observed in 2 groups. RESULTS:After treatment, the amount of postpartum hemorrhage was smaller than 400 ml in 2 groups and didn't exceed the standard, without statistical significance(P>0.05). The amount of endometrorrhagia in trial group was significantly higher than in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05);the amount of colporrhagia in tri-al group was significantly lower than in control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the incidence of ADR between trial group(4.90%)and control group(6.31%)(P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS:The intramuscular injection is selected for the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine inertia;the cervical injection is selected for the prevention of postpartum hemorrhage caused for the other patients.

[ ABSTRACT] AIM: To discuss the relevance between the pathogenesis of diabetic gastroparesis and the large-conductance calcium-activated potassium channels ( BKCa ) in gastric smooth muscle cells.METHODS:The SD rats were randomly divided into control group and model group. The gastric smooth muscle cells of the SD rats were enzymatically iso-lated in a low calcium solution containing papain. The current was recorded by patch clamp single channel recording tech-nique.The expression of KCNMA and KCNMB1 were observed by the method of immunohistochemistry.RESULTS:The value of BKCa single channel conductance was (220.10 ±10.90) pS;the channels had distinct voltage dependent and cal-cium dependent characteristics. In outside-out patch (Vm =+30 mV), the activation of BKCa was blocked by 200 nmol/L IbTX completely.Compared with control group, the open probability and amplitude of current in model group significant-ly increased, while the mean open time and mean close time significantly decreased.Compared with control group, the ex-pression of KCNMB1 in model group was significantly increased.CONCLUSION: Up-regulation of β1-subunit and in-crease in BKCa functional activities may be associated with diabetes gastroparesis in rats.

Objective To evaluate the usefulness of the transect imaging and 3D-reconstruction with spiral CT in acetabulum fracture. Methods 23 cases of acetabulum fracture proved by clinical plain radiograph, transect imaging and 3D-reconsection were reviewed retrospectively.3D-reconsection were obtained on the basis of spiral transect imaging with use of 2~3 mm collimation.3 pitch and 1.2~2 mm reconstruction interval. Results Fractures were demonstrated definitely with transect imaging.3D-reconstruction in all patients the transect imaging displayed the fractures and the displacement of the burden opex of acetablulum, the disruption within joint, the direction of fracture.Displacement of detached bone fragments and capitis femoris were display stereoscopically by 3D-reconstruction.Conclusion The transect imaging and the 3D-reconstruction of spiral CT technique with spiral CT could afford the more valuable messages.Surgeon will benefit greathy from their usefulness in the choice of the surgical intervention and operative planning.

Objective To determine the mechanism underlying the mandibular angle enlargement and to provide a morphological basis for correcting the enlarged mandibular angle. Methods By axial computed tomography, it is possible to measure the width and length of the masseter and the medial pterygoid, the gonial angle, and the vertical height of the posterior mandible. The date were initially analysed by using a simple correctionials and indpendent sample T test. Results The distance between two Go points and gonial angle were significantly related with the thickness of masseter muscle, but the thickness of the medial pterygoid was on the contrary. There was significant differences between the group of prominence and the normal control in the gonial angle, the distance between two Go points and thickness of masseter . But there was no difference between the the two groups in the thickness of medial pterygoid. Conclusion The thickness of the masseter muscle is an important factor that affects the lower facial morphology. The hypertrophy of masserter muscle may cause the mandibular angle enlargement.

Objective To screen the down-regulated genes in HepG2 cells transfected by pcDNA3.1(-)-IFN-? to further investigate the biological mechanism of IFN-?. Methods pcDNA3.1(-)-IFN-? was transfected into HepG2 cells as treatment group and the pcDNA3.1(-) transfected cells as the control to perform suppression subtractive hybridization (SSH). The subtractive library for down-regulated genes was obtained when pcDNA3.1(-) transfected HepG2 as tester and pcDNA3.1(-)-IFN-? transfected cells as driver. A housekeeping gene, G3PDH, was used to estimate the subtractive efficiency. Genes with lower expressions in IFN-? transfected HepG2 cells were obtained from the library after being randomly sequenced and analyzed. Among the obtained genes, regulation of IFN-? on heat shock 90kD (Hsp90) mRNA was further investigated by RT-PCR. Results G3PDH was subtracted efficiently indicating that the subtractive library was constructed successfully. 50 positive clones were randomly isolated for PCR identification. Results showed that most of the plasmids in the clones contained 200-1 000bp inserts. The down-regulated genes obtained were as follows: eukaryotic translation elongation factor 1 beta, ferritin, RAD23 homolog B, signal sequence receptor 2 (SSR2), tissue factor pathway inhibitor, heat shock 90kD protein 1, and adenosylmethionine decarboxylase 1. RT-PCR showed that hsp90 mRNA had a reduced expression in pcDNA3.1 (-)-IFN-? transfected HepG2 cells. Conclusion The down-regulated cDNA subtractive library in HepG2 cells after pcDNA3.1 (-)-IFN-? transfection was constructed successfully. IFN-? could down-regulate the hsp90 mRNA expression.

Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2004;0(01):-
Objective: To investigate the role of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in the pathogenesis of asthma.Methods:IL-10 internal standards was constructed by restriction digest. The expression levels of IL-10 mRNA were determined in peripheral blood and induced sputum of 23 asthmatic patients by(RT-PCR) with this competitive internal standards. Results:There was no IL-10 mRNA expression in most of the asthmatics.IL-10 mRNA was detected in some catabatic patients. But IL-10 mRNA was readily detected in 29 normal subjects. Conclusion:Airway inflammation of asthma was related to the expression of IL-10 gene.Asthmatic patients may have difficulty in IL-10 synthesis with transcript.
