The pricking wound which may lead to serious hurt and undesired consequences always happensduring the blood sampling course,but unfortunately it hasn't drawn enough attention from the public.China is aprevalent area for hepatitis,and what is more,AIDS also shows an increasing tendency in recent years.Bloodpollution by the pricking wound accounts for a major occupational pollution and infection reason for thehematogenously infectious diseases.Based on his practical work experience and real data,the author expounds thecauses and precautions of the pricking wounds and puts forward some relevant policies and suggestions as well.
2.Application of ultrasonography in the uterine arterial embolization of uterine leiomyomas

The selection of appropriate candidates for uterine artery embolization with ultrasound is the key for obtaining accurate assessment and planning of the proper course for the proceduce. The patients should be followed-up after uterine artery embolization by ultrasound examination at different periods for the assessments of volume, echogenicity and vascularization of the fibroids as well as the uterine blood supply. After all, ultrasound gives important information especially concerning the vascularity of uterine leiomyomas before and after uterine artery embolization. Also it is a non-invasive and economic method in the determination of the efficacy in the early and late periods after the procedure. (J Intervent Radiol, 2006, 15: 568-570)

4.Study on the Effects of Qilianmaogentang on the Experimental IgA Nephropathy Rat

Objective To study the effects of Qilianmaogentang on the experimental IgA nephropathy (IgAN) rat. Methods The IgAN rat model was induced through oral administration of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and staphylococcus enterotoxin infection. To study the effects of Qilianmaogentan on albuminuria, kidney function, blood plasma albumin and kidney pathology of the IgAN rats, while the control group were treated with Shengyanshuchongji. Results The therapy group's kidney function were better than the control group's, with less urine albumen and the deposit of immunity complex in the glomerular mesangial area. Conclusion Qilianmaogentang can improve the kidney function of IgAN rat, and reduce the deposit of immunity complex in the glomerular mesangial area.

Objectives: To study the e ect of human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus combining with Chinese herb Pien Tze Huang on human osteosarcoma mice model. Methods: 40 standardized human osteosarcoma mice model were divided into 5 groups, treated with PBS, Paav-MCS, human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus, Chinese herb Pien Tze Huang or human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus combining with Chinese herb Pien Tze Huang in each di erent group. Results: ① Mice model of transplant human osteosarcoma were established successfully. ②Osteosarcoma were inhibited successfully by human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus, Chinese herb Pien Tze Huang or human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus combining with Chinese herb Pien Tze Huang. ③Mice model of transplant human osteosarcoma were active during observation. Conclusions: ①These results suggested that human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus, herb Pien Tze Huang and human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus combined with herb Pien Tze Huang were e ective on human osteosarcoma. ②Among them, the most e ective treatment was human P27KIP1 gene AVV virus combining with herb Pien Tze Huang. ③Chinese herb Pien Tze Huang was possible useful for life improvement of osteosarcoma patient.
6.Cellular delivery of modified peptide nucleic acids: a review.

Peptide nucleic acid (PNA) is a DNA surrogate in which the phosphate deoxyribose backbone of DNA is replaced by repeating N-(2-aminoethyl)glycine units. PNA can hybridize to the complementary DNA and RNA with higher affinity than their oligonucleotide counterparts. This character of PNA not only makes it a new tool for the studies of molecular biology but also the potential candidate for gene-targeting drugs. The non-ionic backbone of PNA leads to stable hybrids with the nucleic acids, but at the same time, the neutral backbone results in poor cellular uptake. To address this problem, studies on modified PNA progress rapidly in recent years. We reviewed literature reports combined with our study about the delivery methods, including backbone modified PNA and PNA-ligand conjugates, and the cellular uptake of modified PNA. In addition, we summarized the problems and future prospect of the cellular delivery of modified PNA.

7.Effect of Dexamethasone on tumor volume and apoptosis of transplanted HeLa cells in mice

Objective To investigate the effects of dexamethasone on the growth of cervical cancer induced by HeLa cells transplanted into BALB/c mice. Methods HeLa cells were inoculated subcutaneously into BALB/c mice. Dexamethasone (15 mg?kg-1?d-1) was injected intraperitoneally from the 6th or the 16th day after tumor inoculation for 10 days continuously. Diameter of tumors was measured every two or three days. Apoptotic bodies were observed by transmission electron microscopy and counted by TUNEL. 8.Dexamethasone inhibits cervical carcinoma cell xenografted tumors in nude mice

Objective To investigate the effects of over physiological dose of dexamethasone on cervical carcinoma cell xenografted tumors in nude mouse.Methods HeLa cells were inoculated subcutaneously in BALB/c female mice aged 5-6 weeks.Over physiological dose of dexamethasone(62.5 mg?kg-1?d-1) was injected into the peritoneum from the 16th day after inoculation for 10 d.Diameters of tumor were measured every two or three days.The volumes and the inhibition rates of tumor were calculated.Apoptotic bodies were observed by transmission electron microscopy and counted by TUNEL.VEGF and TNF-? were detected by immunohistochemistry.Results In vivo,over physiological dose of dexamethasone can repress the growth of tumor and induce cell apoptosis.Compared with the control group,the tumor sizes were significantly smaller(P0.05).Conclusion Over physiological dose of dexamethasone can repress cervical tumor growth in vivo.This action may be related to apoptosis and VEGF,but have no relationship with TNF-?.

10.Effect of 131Ⅰ therapy On differentiated thyroid carcinoma metastases

Objective To investigate the effect of iodine-131(131Ⅰ) therapy on patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma concurrent metastases.Methods 50 cases with differentiated thyroid carcinoma after operation ac-cording to metastaticsites were given one of fractionated treatment,a total removal of dose(370~740)×107Bq,inter-val of 4 months.Results 35 of 50 patients(70.O%) had successful ablation of residual thyroid tissue after the first administration of radioiodine.Metastatic carcinoma in 18 cases,6 cases(33.3%) were cured,effective treatment was shown in 8 cases(44.4%)and treatment failure in 4 cases(22.2%);Thyroid metastasis before treatment were signifi-cantly higher than non-HTG thyroid metastasis(t=2.715,P<0.01),decreased significantly after treatment(t=2.844,all P<0.01);The contents of CD4+、CD8+、CD4+/CD8++ in treatment group after treatment[(26.5±4.7)%、(39.4±5.7)%、(0.6±0.4)%] were lower than before treatment[(38.3±5.6)%、(29.8±6.9)%、(1.4±0.5)%](t=2.345,t=2.244,t=2.451,all P<0.05).Conclusion Treatment with multiple hlsh doses of 131Ⅰ was safe and effective with little adverse side-effect.
