Journal of Kunming Medical University 1989;0(01):-
In the supporting electrolyte of 0.2mol/L LiCl, a distinct cathodic wave was produced by using first or seeondary derivative oscillopolarography to measure maleic hydrazide. The peak potential was -1.95V (Vs.SCE).The peak current was linearly proportional to the concentration of maleic hydrazide in the range of 1.0?10~(-4)mol/L to 2.0?10~(-5)mol/L and 1.5?10~(-5)mol/L to 4.0?10~(-6)mol/L.(PH5.6~9.3).The detection limit was lower than 2.0 ?10~(-6)mol/L.The error of various methods(relative deviation)was less than 0.3 per cent. Therefore,a simple, rapid and accurate analytical method for determining the purity of maleic hydrazide has been afforded in this paper.

3.A study on the relationship of helicobacter pylori and vitamin C to gastric mucosa lesions
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2008;31(10):23-25
Objective To study the relationship of Hp infection and gastric juice vitamin C concentration to gastric mucosa lesions,as well as its mechanisms of pathogenesis and carcinogenesis. Methods Vitamin C concentration in gastric juice was measured by using reduced ferric method.Hp was determined by fast urease test, pathologic Giemsa stain and bacterial culture.Hp eradication treatment was performed on part of Hp positive patients, and the vitamin C concentration in gastric juice before and after Hp eradication was compared. Results Gastric juice vitamin C concentrations in each Hp positive test groups were:(18.3±4.5)mg/L(chronic superficial gastritis group),(9.1±3.3)mg/L(atrophic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia group),(8.2±2.7)mg/L(dysplasia group),and (5.2±1.6)mg/L(gastric cancer group) respectively, which were significantly lower than that in control group [(35.2±7.2)mg/L],P<0.05.After eradication of Hp,the vitamin C concentrations in gastric juice returned to normal, whereas it had no significant difference in those with failure of Hp eradication. Conclusions Hp infection may cause a significant lowering of gastric juice vitamin C concentration, which may be one of the mechanisms of its pathogenesis and carcinogenesis.Eradication of Hp can return the vitamin C concentration in gastric juice to normal, which may contribute to guard against the occurrence of gastric cancer.

Objective To investigate the applicative value of enhanced 3D multi-echo GRE T2*-weighted angiography(ESWAN) sequence phase values in evaluating brain gray nuclei iron content in idiopathic restless legs syndrome(RLS) patients, providing imaging basis in diagnosis and treatment of idiopathic RLS. Methods In our institute from June 2012 to September 2016,forty-five RLS patients were selected as the RLS group, and 45 healthy volunteers as the control group. ESWAN sequence was performed and serum ferritin values were obtained in all patients and volunteers. The raw data of ESWAN was postprocessed , where the phase maps were obtained. Phase analysis was performed on localized brain gray nuclei regions of interest (substantia nigra, red nucleus, dentate nucleus, thalamus, pallidum, putamen and caudate nucleus ) selected on phase maps. Differences between the 2 subject groups were evaluated using ANCOVA including age as a covariate. Results The phase values of the substantia nigra, thalamus, pallidum and putamen in the RLS group were (-0.087 ± 0.021), (-0.053 ± 0.012), (-0.161 ± 0.008), (-0.125 ± 0.019) radians , respectively. The phase values of the substantia nigra, thalamus, pallidum and putamen in the control group were (-0.127 ± 0.007), (-0.066 ± 0.007), (-0.166 ± 0.007), (-0.150 ± 0.010) radians, respectively. There were significant differences between the two groups (F=142.492, 37.988, 10.558, 60.725;P<0.05). Indicating reduced iron content in several regions of brain gray nuclei of the patients with RLS. Serum ferritin concentration between the RLS patients (157.02±95.78)μg/L and healthy controls (175.49 ± 38.65)μg/L was not significant (F=1.353,P>0.05). Conclusions Phase values can make a quantitative assessment of brain gray nuclei iron content in RLS patients, our results supported the hypothesis of reduced brain iron content in RLS patents , which may have an important role in the pathogenesis of the disorder. However, iron content change in some brain regions was not correlated with serum ferritin concentration changes.

Objective To analyze the polymorphisms of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase D (GPI-PLD) gene Exon1 and Exon25,GPI-PLD activity of leucocyte in peripheral blood and their relationship in systemic lupus erythematosus patients of Han nationality in Hunan Chinese. Methods The polymorphisms were analyzed by PCR-SSCP and sequencing. GPI-PLD levels were determined by using glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) anchored placental alkaline phosphatase (PLAP) as substrate and triton-X114 partioning. Results There were fourteen variations in the coverage of GPI-PLD gene Exon 1 of both 109 healthy persons' and 62 systemic lupus erythematosus patients',including seven variations at transcriptional start site upstream and seven variations at Exon1. The codons of variation were 14TTG→AAG (Leu14Lys),17CTC→GTC (Leu17Val),20AGA→AAA (Arg20Lys),21GGT→GGG (Gly21Gly),30GTA→ATA (Val30Ile),which leaded to four missense mutations and one synonymous mutation. In addition, the frequency of the variation at transcriptional start site upstream -24 C→T was significantly different between healthy control and systemic lupus erythematosus patients. At meanwhile, there was a variation in Exon25, the +60496 G→A, between two groups. The total various frequency, which was determined by SSCP, of healthy person was 33 03 percent and systemic lupus erythematosus patient was 25 81 percent. On the basis of the percentage of GPI-anchored PLAP conversion, the leucocyte GPI-PLD activities of total 62 systemic lupus erythematosus patients were measured. As compared with 109 healthy persons as control group, the leukocyte GPI-PLD activities of systemic lupus erythematosus patients were significantly raised, but GPI-PLD activities were not correlated with polymorphism sites significantly. Conclusions The leukocyte GPI-PLD gene in peripheral blood, which belongs to healthy persons and systemic lupus erythematosus patients of Han mationality in Hunan Chinses,is polymorphism. The frequency of transcriptional start site upstream -24 is significantly different between healthy control and systemic lupus erythematosus patients. The leukocyte GPI-PLD activeties of patients' also significantly increase.
