3.EXPRESSION OF GAMMA INTERFERON-LIKE SUBSTANCE IN ADRENAL PHEOCHROMO-CYTOMA
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism 1985;0(02):-
Expression of gamma interferon (IFN-?)-like substance in adrenal pheochromocytoma was investigated with immunohistochemical technique. In 15 out of the 16 cases of adrenal pheochromocytoma positive IFN-@-like immunoreactive substance was detected in the cytoplasm of the tumor cells, whereas in adrenal tissues adjacent to adrenal tumors in 26 cases (pheochromocytoma 12, adrenal corti-col tumors 12, others 2) only two with pheochromocytoma showed positive IFN-?-like immunoreactive substance in the cytoplasm of zona reticularis cells. The results suggest that IFN-? may be a kind of antigen associated with differentiation of cell.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2010;26(29):90-92
Objective To explore baccalaureate nursing students' perception of caring, so as to provide evidence for promoting their caring behaviors. Methods Phenomenology was the chosen methodology, 11 baccalaureate nursing students were interviewed in depth. Results Themes of caring were formed into four categories: caring behavior was reciprocal; the motives of caring included fear, concern, responsibility and obligation; knowledge, technical competency and professional helping relationship constituted caring; the confusions of caring came from many factors in clinical practice. Conclusions Baccalaureate nursing students can understand the connotation of caring accurately. To encourage their caring behaviors, clinical supervisors and managers should take all kinds of measures to maintain their faith in caring.

Chinese Mental Health Journal 2002;0(11):-
Objective: Affective disorder patients can be effectively treated by electro-acupuncture methods without many side effects, but the mechanism of the treatment is not known. The object of this study was to discover whether there is change of guanine-nucleotide-binding protein (G-protein) level in platelets membrane from major depression patients before and after treatment by fluoxetine and electro-acupuncture. Methods:We utilized selective antibodies to quantitate the levels of the G-protein ? subunits in platelets membrane of 78 major depression patients (24 received fluoxetine treatment, 24 received electo-acupuncture treatment and 30 received placebo treatment) and 30 matched comparison subjects.Result:Levels of both G?i and G?q of the patient groups were higher than matched normal comparison subjects before treatment of fluoxetine and electro-acupuncture,the level of G?i and G?q did not change after the treatment of fluoxetine, electro-acupuncture and placebo. The level of G?s wasn't significantly different with matched comparison subjects. Conclusion:The levels of G?i、G?q in platelets membrane from major depression patients are higher than normal, the high levels of G?i and G?q in platelets membrane may be a trait abnormality for major depression patients, not a state abnormality for major depression.
