Chinese Journal of Radiation Oncology 2011;20(3):236-239
Objective To investigate the water equivalent of two solid water phantoms. Methods The X-ray and electron beam depth-ion curves were measured in water and two solid water phantoms,RW3 and Virtual Water. The water-equivalency correction factors for the two solid water phantoms were compared. We measured and calculated the range sealing factors and the fluence correction factors for the two solid water phantoms in the case of electron beams. Results The average differenee between the measurled ionization in solid water phantoms and water was 0.42%and 0.16%on 6 MV X-ray(t=-6.15.P=0.001and t=-1.65,P=0.419)and 0.21%and 0.31%on 10 MV X-ray(t=1.728,P=0.135 and t=-2.296,P=0.061),with 17.4%and 14.5%on 6 MeV electron beams(t=-1.37.P=0.208 and t=-1.47,P=0.179)and 7.0%and 6.0%on 15 MeV electron beams(t=-0.58.P=0.581 and t=-0.90,P=0.395).The water-equivalency correction factors for the two solid water Dhantoms varied slightly largely,F=58.54,P=0.000 on 6 MV X-ray,F=0.211.P=0.662 on 10 MV X.ray,F=0.97.P=0.353 on 6 MeV electron beams,F=0.14,P=0.717 on 15 MeV electron beams. However, they were almost equal to 1 near the referenee depths. The two solid water phantoms showed a similar tread of Cpl increasing(F=26.40,P=0.014)and hpl decreasing(F=7.45,P=0.072)with increasing energy. Conclusion The solid water phantom should undergo a quality control test before being clinical use.

Objective To evaluate the effect of recombinant expressing plasmid pCMV-KAI1 on the proliferative ability of PANC Ⅰ and MiaPaCa Ⅱ pancreatic cancer cells, and to observe the suppress metastatic mechanism of KAI1 gene in the malignancy. Methods The plasmid pCMV-KAI1 was transfected into the human pancreatic cancer cell lines PANC Ⅰ and MiaPaCa Ⅱ with liposome. The proliferative ability of these two pancreatic cancer cell lines were analyzed with MTT and colony-forming test, the cycle pattern was assayed by flow cytometry. Results After KAI1 expressing plasmid tranfected into PANC Ⅰ and MiaPaCa Ⅱ, the cell growth rates of the two cell lines were reduced by 40.59% and 65.84% respectively compared with the control cells (P

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(2):184-185
objective To investigate the effect of the prognosis of multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODs) through APACHE Ⅱ and APACHE Ⅲ.Methods The relations of APACHEⅡ,APACHEⅢ,the occurrence rate and number of organs failure and the dangerous extent and prognosis of MODS are studied between survival group and death group through the review research of 45 cases of MODS.Results APACHE Ⅱ andⅢ,age and genrating rate of failure organS are significant difference between surviral group and death group(P<0.05)in MODS.The predicting correlation of APACHE Ⅱis not significant difference between number of organs failure and mortality of MODS(P>O.05),but the predicting correlation of APACHE Ⅲ is significant difference between number of organs failure and mortality of MODS(P<0.05).Conclusion The study showed APACHEⅢis better than APACHEⅡ on the dangerous extent and prognostic evaluation in MODS.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(35):-
Eleven patients underwent acetabulum revision using modified anterolateral approach due to acetabulum loosening but femoral prosthesis in sound fixation following total hip arthroplasty in Department of Joint Surgery,Tianjin Hospital between August 2002 and February 2005. During the mean follow-up of 4.2 years, all 11 patients gained primary stable fixation and good function. One patient underwent another revision due to infection; one developed femoral prosthesis loosening and underwent femoral revision. X-ray of the other patients showed no loosening or dislocation or radiotransparent region surrounding the prosthesis. One patient developed lateral femoral cutaneous nerve injury and relieved 6 months later.

Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2007;0(48):-
From February 2002 to May 2007,9 cases(9 hips) of periprosthetic fractures during the primary total hip arthroplasty for developmental dysplasia of the hip were selected, including 1 male and 8 females aged 52-69 years. In the primary total hip arthroplasty, femoral prosthesis with the same size as intramedullary reamer and acetabular prosthesis with 2 mm diameter larger than acetabular reamer were used. The pain, function, range of motion and degree of deformity were accessed using the Harris score. The patients were followed for 1-6 years.Among the 9 patients with periprosthetic fractures,4 acetabular fractures were stable which were treated by additional augmentation screws, and 1 fracture was unstable which was treated by structural bone grafting and additional screws. And there was one Vancouver type AG fracture which was treated by cerclage wire,3 Vancouver B1 fractures which were fixed by locking compression plate(LCP) or cerclage wire, and one Vancouver type C fracture which was also fixed by LCP.No component loosening or migration was found in the postoperative X-ray.The mean Harris score was 87.2 at the final follow-up.The results of the study show that during the primary total hip arthroplasty in patients with developmental dysplasia of the hip,the oversize of the acetabular component should be controlled to equal to or less than 2 mm.For patients with severe osteoporosis, acetabular components with the same size to reamer are recommended combined with additional screws,or cemented cup. When an acetebular fracture is found during total hip arthroplasty,we could use additional screws or bone grafting.Once a periprosthetic femoral fracture occurs during the operation, methods of fixation should be selected based on the type of the fracture and stability of the prosthesis.
