ObjectiveTo study the symptom dimensions of obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD) of Chinese patients.MethodsThis study examined apriori categories used to group types of obsessions and compulsions in the Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale symptom checklist,in a group of Chinese patients with OCD ( n=536).A principal-components factor analysis with a varimax rotation was performed.ResultsFive factors( explaining)-hoarding( 16.17% ),contamination/cleaning ( 13.65% ),symmetry/ordering( 12.82% ),aggressive/checking( 10.44% ),somatic/repeating(8.38% )-emerged in this analysis,in total accounting for more than 60% of the variance.ConclusionThe result suggests a multidimensional model of Chinese OCD patients and these five factors may be helpful in identifing the subtype of OCD.

Objective To clinically analyze the incidence of early extrapulmonary complications in premature infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD),including periventricular intraventricular hemorrhage(PVH-IVH),white matter injury(WMI),parenteral nutrition associated cholestasis(PNAC) and metabolic bone disease(MBD),in order to direct the prevention and monitoring of these complications in BPD patients. Methods The clinical data of premature infants who were admitted to the neonatal department between September 2014 and December 2015 was retrospectively analyzed.A total of 87 premature infants diagnosed with BPD were studied as BPD group, while other 90 premature infants without BPD who were hospitalized at the same time were randomly selected as non BPD group. The occurrence of several common extrapulmonary complications was compared between two groups, including PVH-IVH,WMI,PNAC and MBD.Results The incidence of PVH-IVH in BPD group increased compared with non BPD group[(26.4%(23/87) vs 11.1%(10/90)] (P<0.01),grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ PVH-IVH was more often seen in the BPD group too[24.1%(21/87) vs.11.1%(10/90)](P<0.05),although the difference between two groups regarding the incidence of grade Ⅲ-Ⅳ PVH-IVH was not significant (P>0.05).The incidence of WMI in BPD group was much higher than that in non BPD group[33.3%(29/87) vs 16.7%(15/90)] (P<0.05),especially periventricular leukomalacia, the severe type of WMI,was more often found in BPD group than that in non BPD group[13.7%(12/87) vs 2.2%(2/90)](P<0.05).The incidences of PNAC[22.9%(20/87) vs 5.5%(5/90)],MBD[17.2%(15/87) vs 3.3%(3/90)] and MBD with imaging changes[6.9%(6/87) vs 0] were all higher in BPD group compared with non BPD group, with significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion BPD patients are more likely to have early extrapulmonary complications like PVH-IVH,WMI,PNAC and MBD than other preterm infants. It is crucial to prevent these complications reasonably and monitor them regularly for the BPD patients in order to improve the quality of life.

Objective To provide anatomic data for operation of inserting the electron cochlear in young children. Methods Fourteen heads,28 sides specimens of young children of 1to-5-year old were dissected, through posterior tympanum approach, via mastoidectomy, posterior tympanoto to enter posterior tympanum. The related anatomy structures of the location of the electron cochlear inserted into the proper sites were observed and measured under surgical microscope. Results The round window was seated in superior part of the round window niche. The pyramidal eminence, tendo musculi stapedius, incudostapedial joint, base of stapes, cochleariform process, round window niche and promontorium tympani were all visible from different directions. The posterior arch of stapes was situated in the prozone of scala.Scala was situated in the posteroinferior scala vestibuli. The distance from the middle point of the anterior border of the round window niche to the inferior wall was(1.49?0.42)mm,to the posterior wall of the Scala tympani(0.90?0.31)mm,to the basal tissue(1.49?0.41)mm,to the pyramidal eminence(3.28?0.55)mm,to the lateral semicircular canal(7.41?0.90)mm,to the inferior margin of the base of stapes(3.09?0.53)mm.Conclusion It is considered that the location of the insertion should be at the middle point of anterior border of the round window niche anterior from 0.90mm to 1.49mm,deorsum from 0mm to 1.49mm.When the round window niche is not found, the location of the insertion has to be at the middle point of the inferior margin of the base of stapes deorsum 3mm.

Background and purpose:Suppression of apoptotic signaling pathways is an important factor in tumor cell resistance. Research on cell apoptosis will open up a new way of reversing drug resistance and tumor treatment. This study examined the effects of a novel naphthalimide derivative 8c on multidrug resistant colon cancer HCT116/L-OHP cells and explored the molecular mechanisms underlying the apoptosis induction. Methods: The anti-proliferative effects of 8c were detected by CCK-8 assays and the effects on apoptosis induction were examined by lfow cytometry. The mRNA expression levels of p53, Bax and Bcl-2 were measured by real-time PCR;The protein expressions of p-p53, Bax, Bcl-2 and Cyt-c were detected by Western blot. Results:8c (IC50=8.16 μmol/L) seemed to be more potent than amonaifde (IC50=28.37 μmol/L) against HCT116/L-OHP cells. 8c induced apoptosis on HCT116/L-OHP cell lines through intrinsic or mitochondria dependent pathway. The protein expression of phosphorylation of p53 at Ser-15 was increased, but the mRNA level of p53 did not increase in HCT116/L-OHP cells. Bax protein and mRNA levels were signiifcantly increased, and Bcl-2 protein and mRNA levels were decreased, suggesting an increase of Bax/Bcl-2 ratios. Meanwhile, 8c induced a substantial release of cytochrome c from the mitochondria into the cytosol in HCT116/L-OHP cells. Conclusion: 8c induced cell death signal by inducing the activation p53 phosphorylation which subsequently activated related protein expressions of apoptotic pathway, which may be an important mechanism of 8c on inhibiting proliferation of HCT116/L-OHP resistant cells. All the results suggested that 8c was a potent compound to be developed as an anti-tumor and anti-resistance agent for clinic application in the future.
