1.Design and biomechanical test of a novel lumbosacral anterior plate

Objective To design a new lumbosacral anterior plate by statistical analysis for the numerical value of the anatomic structure in Chinese.Methods The numerical value of lumbosacral angle and height of lumbosacral vertebrae,and discus intervertebralis were measured in 350 orthotropia and lateral view X-ray pictures of lumbosacral vertebrae of adult normal individuals.According to the acquired amplitude of lumbosacral vertebrae in Chinese,we designed the modified lumbosacral anterior plate,and then tested the plate in 4 different states of working condition on 8 fresh spinal columns to assay biomechanical data,and the results were compared with those of lumbosacral anterior secure plate(PACH).Results The amplitude of lumbosacral angle were 125 to 135,the heights of anterior border L5 and S1 vertebrae were(27.06?2.30) and(22.3?2.8)mm,the height of L5S1 discus intervertebralis was(8.2?0.3)mm.The flex bias and the compression rigidity had significant deviation for the vertebral column fixed the modified plate [flexation(4.706?0.012)mm,extension(4.549?0.298)mm,lateral bending(5.412?0.384)mm,average value of rigidity in 400 N(105.8?7.6)N/mm] and PACH[flexation(5.241?0.113) mm,extension(5.662?0.246)mm,lateral bending(6.767?0.017)mm,and average value of rigidity(87.4?4.2)N/mm] respectively,with statistical significance among them(P
2.Estimation of the effective doses for interventional employees in three common interventional diagnosis and treatment procedures

Objective To study and estimate the effective dose of interventional employees in the common cerebralvascular, cardiovascular and liver interventional diagnosis and treatment.Methods The absorbed doses of tissue or organ of anthropomorphic phantom in these three procedures were estimated by the anthropomorphic phantom experiment.The effective doses were calculated by the tissue weight factor which was given by International Commission on Radiological Protection publication 103.Results The effective doses to high, medium and low group were 24.0, 9.7,6.8 μSv for cerebralvascular interventional diagnosis and treatment, and 36.3, 29.3, 17.8 μSv for cardiovascular interventional diagnosis and treatment, and 23.9, 11.3, 5.5 μ Sv for liver interventional diagnosis and treatment, respectively.Conclusions The effective doses of high, medium and low group of interventional employees in cardiovascular interventional procedure are higher than those of cerebralvascular and liver interventional procedures.
3.Clinical applications of quantum resonance spectrometer in schizophrenic symptoms detection

Objective To investigate if the quantum resonance spectrometer(QRS) can detect the schizophrenic symptoms in clinical applications.Methods According to the result of QRS test and ICD-10 diagnostic criteria and exclusion criteria, subjects were divided into patient( n = 65 ) and control groups( n = 100).11 schizophrenia-related symptoms were detected by QRS.Data was analyzed using SPSS13.0 statistical software statistical significance was set at P<0.05.Results Sensitivity and specificity of QRS in the schizophrenic symptoms detection respective were hallucinations (0.887,0.851 ), lenovo undisciplined (0.847,0.868 ), thought insertion (0.800,0.843 ), logical thinking perversion ( 0.813,0.879 ), delusions ( 0.873,0.884 ), apathy ( 0.603,0.891 ), will decrease (0.883,0.886), environmental disorientation ( 0.574,0.837 ), self-disorientation ( 0.609,0.802) , double disorientation (0.603,0.843 ) and insight (0.862,0.869).Conclusion QRS detection possess higher authenticity, consistency and the high diagnostic value in the schizophrenic symptoms, special in hallucinations,thought disorder,insight symptoms.
4.Bibliometric and visualized analysis of scientific publications on Ilizarov methods based on VOSviewer

Objective:To analyze the literature of Ilizarov methods, visualizing and discussing the research status, research hotspots and research trends.Methods:A bibliometric study on Ilizarov methods was performed. Using keyword "Ilizarov" and the Chinese translations to retrieve Chinese publications from CNKI database, Wanfang DATA, VIP database and SinoMed database. Using keywords "Ilizarov method, Ilizarov technique, Ilizarov treatment" to retrieve English publications from Web of Science Core Collection database before January 2021, extracting the information including author, journal, country, institution, keywords and cited times. Using the tools of bibliometrics and VOSviewer to analyze the data and draw knowledge maps.Results:A total of 1 789 Chinese publications and 1 709 English publications were included. USA, UK and China were on the top 3 list of the number of publications. Orthopaedic Journal of China, Chinese Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, Chinese Journal of Reparative and Reconstructive Surgery, Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics, and Chinese Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery published the most literature. 7 English journals were identified as core journals in the field of Ilizarov methods, among which Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (British Volume), International Orthopaedics were JCR Q1 journals. According to the visualized keywords co-occurrence clusteranalysis, the research topics in Chinese literature could be sorted into 6 clusters, the latest hotspots were bone nonunion caused by infection and the treatment for the diabetic foot. In the English literature, the research topics could be sorted into 4 clusters, while the latest topics were infected and posttraumatic bone defects. Conclusion:The number of research on Ilizarov methods is increasing around the world, researches from China are gradually becoming one of the main forces. The research trends at home and at abroad are the same in essentials while differing in minor points, and researches with Chinese characteristics are developing. The strengthening of international cooperation is essential to the development of Ilizarov methods.
6.CT appearances and pathologic correlation of primary pulmonary leiomyoma

Objective To analyze the CT features of primary pulmonary leiomyoma (PPL) and improve the diagnostic ability of PPL.Methods The CT findings and clinical characteristics were retrospectively analyzed in 6 patients with PPL proved by pathology,and the related literatures were reviewed.Results Six PPLs were single lesion from 3.0 to 8.5 cm in size,the shape was round or oval with extremely smooth margin.On CT plain scan,the CT values of all PPL lesions were 25-33 HU,4 lesions presented homogeneous moderate enhancement (40-60 HU) and 2 lesions presented inhomogeneous enhancement after contrast administration.A solid lesion showed obviously patchy enhancement with cystic degeneration,1 lesion presented ring enhancement.All lesions were benign histopathologically,the leiomyoma cells showed spindle shaped or in bundles with pseudocapsule,and with hyaline degeneration in 1 case.Smooth Muscle Actin (SMA) were all marked positive on immunohistochemistry.Conclusions CT findings of PPL have some characteristics,but lack of specificity,the final diagnosis still relies on pathological examination.
7.Effect of electro-acupunctare at Zusanli on liver injury in a rat model of sepsis after scald

Objective To evaluate the effect of electro-acupunctare at Zusanli on liver injury in a rat model of sepsis after scald.Methods Fifty SPF male Sprague-Dawley rats,weighing 200-250 g,aged 2-3 months,were randomly divided into 5 groups (n =10 each) using a random number table:control group (group C); sepsis after scald group (group SS); electro-acupuncture at Zusanli group (group E); electric stimulation of non-acupoint group (group NE); electro-acupuncture at Zusanli + α-bungarotoxin (α-BGT) group (group α-BGT).The rats were subjected to a third degree scald covering 20% of the total body surface area (TBSA) and sepsis was induced with muramyl dipeptide (MDP) 5 mg/kg injected into the femoral vein immediately after scald.Electro-stimulation (3 V,2 ms,3 Hz) of bilateral Zusanli acupoints or non-acupoints was performed for 12 min every 8 h for 2 consecutive days starting from the time point immediately after MDP was injected in group E.In group NE,electro-stimulation was performed at the points 5 mm lateral to the acupoints of bilateral Zusanli and the method was similar to those previously described in group E.In group α-BGT,α-BGT 1.0 μg/kg (in normal saline 1 ml) was injected into the femoral vein before electric stimulation,then electro-stimulation was performed and the method was similar to those previously described in group E.After 48 h of continuous stimulation,liver specimens were obtained for microscopic examination of the pathological changes.The blood samples were obtained from the abdominal aorta for determination of the levels of serum ALT and AST,tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α),and high mobility group box-1 (HMGB1) (by ELISA),and expression of Nod-like receptor 2 (NLR2) mRNA (by RTPCR) and receptor-interacting protein 2 (RIP2) in the liver tissues (by Western blot).Results The serum ALT and AST,TNF-α and HMGB-1 levels and NLR2 mRNA and RIP2 expression in liver tissues were significantly higher in SS group than in C group.Compared with SS group,the serum ALT,AST,TNF-α and HMGB1 levels were significantly decreased and NLR2 mRNA and RIP2 expression was down-regulated in E group,and no significant changes were found in the parameters mentioned above in NE group.Compared with E group,the serum ALT,AST,TNF-α and HMGB1 levels were significantly increased,and NLR2 mRNA and RIP2 expression was up-regulated in α-BGT group.The pathological changes in liver tissues were significantly reduced in group EA as compared with SS,NE and α-BGT groups.Conclusion Electro-acupuncture at Zusanli can reduce liver injury in a rat model of sepsis after scald and inhibition of NLR2/RIP2 signaling pathway and activation of cholinergic antiinflammatory pathway mediated by α7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in liver tissues may be involved in the mechanism.
8.An experimental study of BALB/c mice immunized by vaccine gene pcDNA3- PAc against dental caries through different routes

Objective:To observe the anticaries effects of the vaccine gene pcDNA3- PAc against dental caries in BALB/c mice by different routes. Methods: BALB/c mice were immunized with the recombinant plasmid pcDNA3- PAc by the submandibular gland- target injection,the quadriceps femoris injection and the intranasal irrigation respectively. All the mice were immunized two times. The immune interval was two weeks. Saliva and serum samples were collected respectively at 0, 1, 2, 4 weeks after immunization. The specific antibodies were detected by ELISA. Results:The specific antibodies were up at one week after immunization in different routes. The peak time of the antibodies level appeared at 4 weeks.The level of salivary specific anti- PAc IgA induced by submandibular gland- target injection and that of serum IgG induced by thigh bone muscle injection was the highest, respectively. The differences of antibodies level between in experiment groups and negative control group or vacant comparison group were significant(P<0.01). Conclusion: The vaccine gene pcDNA3- PAc effectively induce local mucosal immune response and systemic immune response.
9.Clinical application of CT perfusion imaging in assessment of gastric cancer

Objective To explore the correlation between CT perfusion imaging parameters and differentiation degree of gastric cancer.Methods Fifty patients with gastric cancer proved by surgery and pathology underwent 64-slice spiral CT perfusion imaging before surgery,and the CT perfusion parameters were obtained including blood flow(BF),blood volume(BV),mean transit time (MTT)and permeability surface(PS).The patients were divided into 3 groups (well,moderate and poor differentiation)according to the degree of cell differentiation.Statistical analysis was performed by using the SPSS 17.0 statistics software.Results The perfusion parameters of BF (mL·min-1 ·100 g-1 ),BV (mL/100 g),MTT (s)and PS (mL·min-1 ·100 g-1 )were as follows:75.28±6.81,9.01± 0.94,9.89±1.65 and 10.05±0.71 in well differentiation group with 10 patients (20%),110.01±31.90,18.18±5.62,9.81±3.69 and 40.08±1 5.82 in moderate differentiation group with 24 patients (48%),138.59±38.09,21.08±4.1 1,9.47 ±1.80 and 57.50± 13.28 in poor differentiation group with 1 6 patients (32%)respectively.Among three groups,there were statistic differences in BF, BV and PS between well differentiation group and moderate differentiation group or low differentiation group (P <0.05),however there was no statistic difference in MTT among three groups (P >0.05).Conclusion The BF,BV and PS values may be regarded as the evaluation index for malignant degree of gastric cancer.
10.Assessment of Myocardial Perfusion in Diabetes Mellitus Rats with Insulin Intervention at Different Times by Using Myocardial Contrast Echocardiography

Purpose To evaluate the myocardial perfusion in diabetes mellitus (DM) rats with insulin intervention at different times by myocardial contrast echocardiography (MCE) so as to explore the value of MCE in evaluating the treatment of diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM).Materials and Methods In this prospective study,90 rats were randomly divided into normal control (NC) group,DM group and insulin intervention (INS) group,with 30 rats in each group.After the DM models were established,the INS group was then divided into three subgroups of A,B and C treated with insulin intervention at 0,4 and 8 weeks respectively and further treated continuously for 12 weeks.The NC and DM groups were also randomly divided into three subgroups and fed synchronously just as the INS group but without insulin intervention.At the end of 12,16 and 20 weeks after modeling,the rats in each subgroup were examined by MCE.The changes of myocardial blood volume (A),blood velocity (β) and blood flow (A×β) were analyzed,and the myocardial tissues were also collected for pathological examination.Results A,β and A×β were increased in INS group compared with DM group (P<0.05).Compared with NC group,the values of INS group including A×β in A subgroup,A and A×β in B subgroup,A,β and A×β in C subgroup were decreased (all P<0.05).In INS group,there was no difference in the three values of myocardial blood between A and B subgroup (P>0.05),but A and A×β were lower in C subgroup than those in A subgroup (P<0.05).On pathology,the thickness of capillary basement membrane of INS group improved compared with DM group;the capillary density of INS group increased compared with DM group,but there was significant difference only inA subgroup (P<0.05).Conclusion Early insulin intervention can improve myocardial microvascular structure and increase myocardial blood flow.MCE can be used to evaluate the myocardial microcirculation of DCM rats sensitively and accurately,which can be used as an important method for early diagnosis and dynamic monitoring of DCM with clinical significance.
