1.The Teaching of Medical Science History in STS Education
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(02):-
The themes of STS education comprise not only the education of science and technology, but also education in such aspects as the clarification of sense of social responsibility, enhancement of citizens' service awareness, and establishment of correct world view, outlook on life, morality, and values. The various educational functions of medical science history in this thesis thoroughly reflect and also verify the new educational thoughts in STS education.
2.Analysis on potential risk of critical patients due to the difference of airway peak pressure of invasive ventilator in pressure controlled ventilation mode
China Medical Equipment 2014;(9):40-41,42
Objective:To reveal the difference of airway peak pressure of different brands and models invasive ventilator in our hospital through test and analysis, and reveal that the difference might bring potential threat to the critical patients. Methods: Using adult simulated lung with adjustable respiratory resistance and compliance as the load of invasive ventilator to measure airway peak pressure of invasive ventilator in constant pressure controlled ventilation mode. Results: The results showed that the measured ventilators surely have differences in airway peak pressure in constant pressure controlled ventilation mode. Conclusion: For severe patients, if we ignore the peak airway pressure difference between invasive ventilators, there may be a threat to the critical patients.
3.The relationship between apelin serum levels and insulin resistance in children with simple obesity
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2003;0(05):-
Objective:To investigate the relationship between Apelin insulin resistance and simple obesity in children.Methods:42 children with simple obesity were enrolled in the study,40 non-obese children as control. All of them were detected for Apelin and insulin resistance(HOMA2-IR).Results:The Apelin in children with simple obesity were higher than those in non-obese children(t=2.483,P = 0.015),and HOMA2-IR hoved the same trends(t = 12.368,P = 0.000 1).Apelin and HOMA2-IR also have positive correlation with BMI,the correlation coefficient r was 0.768(t = 6.253,P = 0.000 1)and 0.754(t = 5.641,P = 0.004),each.Apelin and HOMA2-IR were also independent factors associated with children simple obesity,OR was 1.416(P=0.017)and 1.394(P=0.028),respectively.Conclusions:Increased Apelin level in children with simple obesity may associated with insulin resistance.
4.The valuable of expressed prostate secretion pH test in the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(4):618-619
Objective To discuss the value of expressed prostate secretion(EPS) pH test in the diagnosis of chronie prostatitis. Methods EPS was obtained from 86 out-patients with chronic prostatitis, pH test and microscopy field being studied, prostate ultrasonography was performed after filling bladder. Results Mean pH of the EPS was (7.0±0.5), EPS-WBC was (20±10)/HP, and prostate ultrasonography positive rate were 63.9 % (55/86). pH of the EPS and the frequency of ultrasound abnormal ities were significantly correlated to the WBC in EPS.There was no correlation between age, disease process duration and the pH of EPS. Conclusion In chronic prostatitis, EPS-pH was positively correlated with the ultrasonography abnormalities and the WBC elevation of EPS, and EPS-pH test in the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis were meaning and value.
5.Biological Effects of HBV X Protein on Hepatocellular Carcinogenesis in Association with Cellular Factors
Virologica Sinica 2008;23(2):146-151
The X protein (HBx) of Human hepatitis B virus (HBV) acts as an indirect transcriptional transactivator to regulate the expression of many viral and cellular genes, as well as playing a critical role in pathogenesis and the development of Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Here we described the biological effects of HBx in association with four cellular factors, including inflammatory factors (COX-2 and iNOS), oncoprotein (Ras), and a newly identified tumor suppressor (YueF). The characteristics of these effectors, which might be associated with hepatocellular carcinoma, are also discussed.
6.Research progress of Li-cadherin in hepatocellular carcinoma
International Journal of Surgery 2014;41(8):553-556
LI-cadherins are a new member of cadherin superfamily, which transmembrane glycoproteins mediate Ca2 + dependent cell-cell adhesion independent of cytoplasmic interactions. They play an pivotal role during tissue development and are critical for the maintenance of junctional complexes between cells and tissues,LI-cadherin high expression in hepatocellular carcinoma results in the decrease of intercellular adhesion effect, cause hepatocellular carcinoma metastasis.
7.Effects and mechanisms of pentoxifylline in sepsis
Liqin WANG ; Jianguo XU ;
Journal of Medical Postgraduates 2003;0(07):-
It is increasingly evident that sepsis triggers a complex host reaction, which is responsible for a variety of pathophysiologic changes during the inflammatory process. Pentoxifylline (PTX) is a methyxanthine with selective anti inflammatory activity. The effects and mechanisms of PTX in human and animal models of sepsis are reviewed, for providing new information in treatment of sepsis.
8.Advance in Research of Stress and Ventricular Arrhythmias (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2008;14(2):155-156
Ventricular arrhythmias closely correlates with stress. Not only individuals with organic heart diseases have a high risk of ventricular arrhythmias, healthy individuals are also susceptible to ventricular arrhythmias during stress.Electrophysiological characteristics of myocardium changes apparently during stress and electrical unstability of myocardium increases, which makes reentry and early afterdepolarization easy to happen.
10.Effect of Supervised Rehabilitation on Functional Recovery in Hemiplegia after Stroke
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2007;13(7):694-695
Objective To observe the effect of supervised rehabilitation on functional recovery in hemiplegia patients after stroke. Methods 65 patients with acute stroke were divided into supervised rehabilitation group and no-supervised rehabilitation group. They were assessed with Ueda Test and Barthel Index before and after treatment. Results The scores of the Barthel Index in supervised rehabilitation group were significantly superior to those of the not supervised rehabilitation group (P <0.05), while the scores of Ueda Test between these two groups were not significantly different (P>0.05). Conclusion Supervised rehabilitation can improve the function recovery, especially in activities of daily living.
