Objective To explore the application of the tracking scan technique in 16-slice spiral CT angiography, in order to improve the quality of CTA. Methods Three hundred patients who were divided into three groups randomly underwent CTA in tracking, testing and estimation scan respectively with GE LightSpeed 16-slice spiral CT. The data of all patients were transmitted to the workstation (AW4.2) and reconstructed. The quality of all images were evaluated by three experienced doctors with double-blind method and divided into four grades (A, B, C and D) from optimal to poor. Results The rate of grade A, B, C and D was 89.00%, 7.00%, 4.00% and 0 respectively for tracking scan, 70.00%, 11.00%, 15.00% and 4.00% respectively for testing scan, while 61.00%, 13.00%, 21.00% and 5.00% respectively for estimation scan. Conclusion Tracking scan technique is superior to testing and estimation scan in image quality of 16-slice spiral CT angiography.

Objective To explore the application of the standard of Chinese lymph node dissection in minimally invasive esophagectomy. Methods Methods Between April 2014 to September 2015,63 patients with esophageal carcinoma received minimally invasive esophagectomy by the same group of surgeons.Wedescribed in detail the methods of thoracic esophagus mobilization and lymph node dissection in the peri-esophageal space. We analyzed the surgical effect, postoperative complications and follow-up results.Resnits The average operation time was(280.48 ± 44.28) mins, the median intraoperative blood loss was 100 ml,the mean number of lymph nodes was 22.25-± 11.18;the incidence of postoperative pulmonary infection in 28.57%,hoarseness was 17.46%,anastomotic leakage was 12.70%,postoperative 1 year survival rate was 84.1%,3 year survival rate of 61.1%.Conclusion Mobilization of thoracic esophagus based on peri-esophageal space and dissection lymph nodes guided by the Chinese standard of grouping lymph node would achieve good clinical effects.

Objective The article is to study on the detection of α-helix proteins in post-traumatic epileptogenic focus by FTIR-mapping. Methods Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy-mapping were applied to identifying α-helix by point-by-point scanning in post-traumatic epileptogenic focus sections and to develop FTIR-mapping profiles. Result The high absorbance of α-helix is accord with post-traumatic epilepsy, there are some significant differences between high absorbance and low absorbance. Conclusion α-helix proteins are distributed in post-traumatic epileptogenic focus widely, thus α-helix protein are involved in post-traumatic epilepsy.

【Objective】 To investigate the clinical application of self-developed magnetic anchoring device for assisting thoracoscopic pulmonary resection. 【Methods】 Eleven patients underwent thoracoscopic pulmonary assisted with resection magnetic anchoring technique at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, from March to May 2019. Their clinical data were retrospectively analyzed. The operation time, blood loss, blood transfusion volume, postoperative hospital stay, and postoperative complications were recorded. 【Results】 There were seven male and four female patients, with the average age of (51.6±13.9) years (range from 22 to 69 years). Three single-port and eight single-utility-port thoracoscopic surgeries were performed. Magnetic instruments provided good surgical field exposure in all operations. Among 11 surgeries, one was converted to thoracotomy and one to three-hole surgery due to enlargement and adhesion of hilar lymph nodes. The operation time was (107.8±63.1) minutes (range of 27-182 minutes). The blood loss was 50 (10-50)mL (range of 5-1 000 mL). No blood transfusion was needed during the operation. The postoperative hospital stay was (5.0±1.8) days (range of 3-9 days). No postoperative complications occurred in all the patients. 【Conclusion】 Magnetic anchor technique can effectively alleviate the "chopstick effect" in thoracoscopic surgery. Magnetic anchor technique is safe and feasible in assisting thoracoscopic pulmonary resection.
