Objective To investigate the possibility and surgical effect of simultaneous tympanoplasty to chronic suppurative otitis media in the period of infection. Methods Forty-eight cases (48 ears) with chronic suppurative otitis media in the period of infection (31 with cholesteatoma, 17 with caries) were underwent simultaneous Wullstein Ⅱ and Ⅲ tympanoplasty on the complete elimination of the lesions (typical or modified mastoidectomy). Results All eases had dry ears within 4-10 weeks with average of 7 weeks. The air-bone gap within 10 dB was in 11 eases, 15 to 20 dB in 25 cases, 25 to 30 dB in 9 eases, no change or worse in 3 eases. Conclusions Infection is not the absolute eontraindication to the tympanoplasty in treating chronic suppurative otitis media, Wullstein Ⅲ tympanoplasty plus mastoid cavity obliteration and eonchaplasty is a suitable choice to treating chronic suppurative otitis media on the complete elimination of lesions and reconstruction of the ventilation system among mastoid cavity, tympanum and eustachian. The malfunction of eustachian is the main eanse to failure of surgery.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2007;21(3):119-120
OBJECTIVE:
To explore the management of the laryngeal injury.
METHOD:
The forty five patients of laryngeal injury had been rescued. Twenty eight patients were treated with the tracheotomy and twenty four patients of them were treated with the laryngoplasty.
RESULT:
All the patients were survived. Tracheostomy tube of twenty eight patients was taken away without the cicatricial structure of larynx.
CONCLUSION
With the reasonable management after the laryngeal injury, the injury could be cured in time without complications.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2013;27(16):877-880
OBJECTIVE:
Analysis of normal young people multiple stimuli ASSR (m-ASSR), single stimuli ASSR (s-ASSR), C-ABR, PTA threshold, exploratory investigation of relevance of hearing test combination thresholds (C-ABR combines with 0.5, 1.0 kHz s-ASSR) predict behavioral thresholds, using a within-subjects design.
METHOD:
Forty-three normal hearing adults (86 ears) were treated with pure tone audiometry (PTA), m-ASSR, 0.5, 1.0 kHz s-ASSR, C-ABR. Data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 for bivariate correlation analysis.
RESULT:
There was significant correlation between thresholds of hearing test combination and PTA,and the correlation coefficient (r) were 0.803, 0.650, 0.649, 0.734 at 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 kHz; while the correlation coefficient (r) between thresholds of m-ASSR and PTA were 0.48, 0.64, 0.57, 0.64.
CONCLUSION
There is significant correlation between thresholds of hearing test combination and PTA, hearing test combination can be more accurate, more reliable assessment of adults with normal hearing threshold level.
