Objective To investigate the clinical features and treatment of aggressive angiomyxoma of the genitourinary system. Methods Two cases of aggressive angiomyxoma of the genitourinary system were reviewed. One case was a 55 year old man.He presented with a painless inguinal mass which was indicated in low echo by ultrasound;and he underwent surgical complete excision. The other case was a 14 year old female presenting with frequent urination, hematuria, dysuria and urethral mass. After the IVU,CT and 3 dimensional CT examination revealed the extent and blood supply, partial cystectomy and ureteroneocystostomy were performed on her. Results The 2 patients were followed up for 2 to 6 months after surgery, with no recurrence and metastasis.Case 1 was diagnosed with aggressive angiomyxoma involving the spermatic cord and the immunohistochemical testing was positive for Vimentin and SMA,negative for Desmin and S 100.Case 2 was diagnosed with aggressive angiomyxoma of the urinary bladder and the immunohistochemical testing showed that the cancer cell was positive for CD 34 ,SMA,Vimentin, and negative for Desmin,Caldesmon,ER,PR and S 100. Conclusions Aggressive angiomyxoma is a rare, benign and locally aggressive neoplasm. The histopathologic and immunohistochemical studies reveal the definite diagnosis. The therapy is surgical excision as complete as possible.Radiotherapy combined with endocrinotherapy may be used for recurrence and difficult excision of the tumor.Long term follow up and close monitoring with imaging techniques are essential for timely identification of recurrence and for prompt resection.

Methods Development of standardized operational procedures, collection of such samples as fresh frozen tissues from the surgery, paraffin-embedded tissues, whole blood, serum, plasma, and cerebrospinal fluid. Specimens were classified and made aliquots according to different requirements, and then stored at room temperature, -80℃ refrigerator or in liquid nitrogen. Microsoft Access database system was used in the management of these specimens. Results From September 2004 to September 2008, a total of 11 872 samples from patients with benign and malignant diseases were collected and preserved. Among them, 4360 tubes of fresh frozen tissue samples from 2500 cases were provided within and beyond the province. These samples were also applied to DNA, RNA, protein extraction and tissue microarray, and immunohistochemistry-related research. Conclusion Human tissue biobank is highly useful in sharing human tissue resources effectively, as it can provide high quality specimens from benign and malignant diseases and normal control. In addition, it plays a very important role in exploring pathogenesis, developing new technologies for early detection of disease and new therapeutic strategies.

Objective To investigate the efficiency of ultrasound microbubble-mediated HGF gene transfer on liver fibrosis in rats. Methods The eukaryotic expression vector pMD18-T/HGF was constructed. The rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: normal group, model group, low dose group, middle dose group and high dose group. The rat liver fibrosis were induced. At day 14 after treatment, the rats were sacrificed, the ALT lever were evaluated, pathological evaluation of liver fibrosis were made, immunohistochemical evaluation of HGF protein expressions were observed, HGF mRNA expression were detected by RT-PCR. Results Liver 1function after the treatment showed that the treatment groups were better than model group ( P < 0. 05). The difference between low dose group and normal group showed significant difference ( P <0.05), and the difference between middle/high dose groups and normal group showed no significant ( P >0. 05). Pathological results showed that the treatment groups could reduce liver fibrosis;treatment groups had the positive HGF expression by immunohistochemistry and the expression level increased with the increasement of the treatment dose ( P <0.05). RT-PCR showed HGF mRNA expression in the treatment groups were higher than in model group ( P <0.05). Conclusions Ultrasound microbubbles which carrying HGF can inhibit the process of hepatic fibrosis.

The electric properties of biotic tissues are of importance to our understanding biotic substances even life. But the measurement taken in this aspect is different from the measurement of ordinary materials, we need a special testing instrument for living substances. In order to understand the alternating frequency properties of body fluid and tissues in detail, we have developed an electricity characteristic testing system, which is more proper for testing living substances. This system adopts advanced measuring method and expert circuit. As the measure and the control core, the single chip processor is used. This system has wide frequency range and wide impedance testing range, much more adapted objects, and it is dependable, more precise and intelligent. The application of this system in practical testing has obtained optimal results.

Objective:Exercise is a key way to control the blood glucose, which can improve blood lipids and blood pressure, reduce glycated hemoglobin levels, and increase insulin sensitivity. It is of great significance for maintaining blood glucose homeostasis. This study aims to explore the optimal exercise combinations suitable for diabetic patients, and to provide scientific and effective personalized exercise guidance for diabetic patients. Methods:The physical examination data and questionnaire results of were collected from the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. The study was involved in 3 867 diabetes from January,2020 to December,2021.The basic information and living habits were obtained through questionnaires. The fasting blood samples were collected to measure the levels of total cholesterol(TCh),triglyceride,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and fasting blood glucose.Physical measurements included height, weight, waistline, hipline, and blood pressure.Categorical variables were tested using chi-square tests, and continuous variables were tested using non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test.Multiple linear regression model was used to analyze the relationship between exercise behaviors(frequency, duration, and intensity),years of exercise, diet habits, medicine, and fasting blood glucose. The relationship between different exercise behaviors and various indexes(BMI,blood pressure, blood lipids, blood glucose)was analyzed by multiple rising sun rose plots. The polar thermal diagram showed the relationship of exercise behaviors with the best expected effect. Results:Non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis test showed that there were significant differences in other indexes except LDL-C(P=0.681)among groups with different exercise behaviors(all P<0.01).The multiple rising sun rose plots showed that diabetic patients who did moderate to high intensity exercise more than 5 times a week for more than 30 min each time had a healthier BMI,blood lipid levels, blood glucose levels, and blood pressure.Polar thermal diagram showed that low-intensity exercise once or twice a week requires 30 to 60 min or more of exercise to achieve the desired results.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that frequency(β=-0.208,95% CI-0.356 to-0.059,P=0.006),duration(β=-0.227,95% CI-0.387 to-0.066,P=0.006),intensity of exercise(β=-0.110,95% CI-0.218 to-0.002,P=0.046),diet habits(β=0.462,95% CI 0.295 to 0.556,P<0.001)and medicine(β=-0.520,95% CI-0.720 to-0.312,P<0.001)were correlated with fasting blood glucose. Conclusion:Moderate to high intensity exercise for more than 30 min and 5 times a week is the most beneficial combination for diabetes.Low exercise intensity should be combined with higher exercise frequency and longer exercise time to achieve the desired effect. With the increase of exercise intensity, the relationship between low exercise frequency and long exercise time is weakened.

The insidious onset of cholangiocarcinoma and the lack of early diagnosis markers have made most patients diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma in the advanced stage of the disease. At present, surgical treatment is the first choice for patients with cholangiocarcinoma, but surgery also faces problems such as high risks and many difficulties. Recent studies have found that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) and circular RNA (circRNA) have the functions of regulating the cell proliferation, metastasis, invasion, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and drug resistance of cholangiocarcinoma. This article aims to review the potential regulatory role of lncRNA and circRNA in the occurrence and development of cholangiocarcinoma, in order to provide clinical references for the early diagnosis, targeted therapy and patient's prognosis evaluation of cholangiocarcinoma.
