Chinese Journal of Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases 2006;0(02):-
Objective To explore the association between the daily intake of alcohol and blood pressure in Chinese. Methods With the baseline data of the Qingdao Port Health Study, all subjects aged 18 to 54 yrs including all in-service and retired employees in Qingdao port were selected and divided into seven groups according to their daily intake of alcohol: groups of 0,0~,5~,10~,20~,40~ and 60~g alcohol/d,also stratified by ages. The amount of alcohol intake was assessed by a questionnaire. The cross-sectional association between blood pressure and intakes of alcohol was analyzed with general linear model and Logistic regression. Results In the groups of 25~34,35~44,45~54 yrs old both before and after adjustment, systolic and diastolic blood pressure were linearly increased with the amount of alcohol intake from the 0 g/d group to 60~g/d group. In the group of 18~24 yrs old, there was no obvious relationship between BP and alcohol intake.Logistic regression model showed that odds ratios in the groups of 0~g/d,5~g/d,10~g/d,20~g/d,40~g/d and 60~g/d versus the abstainers was 1.05,1.14,1.08,1.24,1.30 and 2.02,respectively,and the prevalence of hypertension in the 20~g/d group was significantly higher than that in the 0 g/d group and groups of low or moderate alcohol intake. Conclusion An increasing and linear relationship between alcohol consumption and blood pressure was established, and alcohol intake ≥20 g /d is an independent risk factor for hypertension.

China Pharmacist 2015;18(10):1805-1807
Objective:To establish an atomic absorption spectrometry method for the determination of lead and ferrum in pre-mix-ture coating film. Methods:The samples were digested by microwave digestion system, and Pb was determined by graphite atomic ab-sorption spectrometry(GFAAS), and Fe was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry(FAAS). Results: There was good linear relationship within the range of 1.0-5.0 μg·L-1(r=0.999 4) for lead and 0.1-1.0 mg·L-1(r=0.998 4) for ferrum. The recovery of lead was 91. 3%(RSD=1. 4%,n=9)and that of ferrum was 89. 9%(RSD=3. 5%,n=9). Conclusion: The method is accurate and stable, which can be used for the determination of lead and ferrum in pre-mixture coating film

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the effect of microwave sintering on the translucency of zirconia and to compare these effect with those of conventional sintering. The relationship between the microstructure of specimens and translucency was investigated.
METHODSA total of 10 disc-shaped specimens were fabricated from 2 commercial brands of zirconia, namely, Zenostar and Lava. Each group included 5 discs. Conventional sintering was performed according to the manufacturers' specifications. The maximum temperature for Zenostar was 1,490 °C, whereas that for Lava was 1,500 °C. The dwelling time was 2 h. The sintering temperature for microwave sintering was 1,420 °C, heating rate was 15 °C · min⁻¹, and dwelling time was 30 min. After sintering, the translucency parameter (TP) of the specimens were measured with ShadeEye NCC. The sintered density of the specimens was determined by Archimedes' method. The grain size and microstructure of the specimens were investigated by scanning electron microscopy.
RESULTSDensity and translucency slightly increased by microwave sintering, but no significant difference was found between microwave and conventional sintering (P > 0.05). Small and uniform microstructure were obtained from microwave sintering. The mean TP of Lava was significantly higher than that of Zenostar (P < 0.001).
CONCLUSIONThe translucency of zirconia sintered by microwave sintering is similar to that of the zirconia sintered by conventional sintering.

Journal of Clinical Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery 2001;(1):26-27
Objective:To probe the method of isolating outer hair cells (OHC) from each of four turns of the guinea-pig cochlea. Method:From eight guinea pigs the organ of Corti from each of four turns of the cochlea were dissected, and then treated using enzyme. Result:A fair amount of living OHCs from each of four turns were obtained. The length of OHCs from each of four turns were 23.81,34.50,60.48 and 71.37 μm. Conclusion:The key to success in isolating OHCs from each of four turns of the cochlea is to know very well the anatomical characteristics of each of four turns of the cochlea and be operated in accordance with normal rules.

Journal of Central South University(Medical Sciences) 2013;38(12):1223-1227
Objective:To select suitable chemotherapy for cervical cancer patients by ATP-tumor chemosensitivity assay.
Methods:Seventy-two hospitalized patients with cervical cancer between July 2007 and October 2009 were enrolled. The patients were randomly divided into a trial group (n=35) and a control group(n=37). ATP-TCA was used to detect the sensitivity of 35 samples of cervical cancer in the trial group to 6 combined chemotherapy regimens. The chemotherapy regimen in the trial group was confirmed by the results of susceptibility testing and that in the control group was confirmed by clinical experience. One-year recurrence rate and 3-year survival rate of two groups were compared after 3 year follow-up.
Results:ATP-TCA was measured in 32 of the 35 patients in the trial group. The sensitive patients for paclitaxel+carboplatin, paclitaxel+oxaliplatin, bleomycin+ifosfamide+cisplatin, bleomycin+vincristine+cisplatin, fluorouracil+cisplatin, and gemcitabine+cisplatin were 20, 18, 17, 18, 17, and 21, respectively. There was no significant difference in the 1-year recurrence between the two groups (P>0.05), while the 3-year survivors in the trial group were more than those in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusion:ATP-TCA method is good for patients with cervical cancer because it is sensitive, effective, and individualized.

Objective To study the expression of fragile histidine triad(FHIT) in oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC),and discuss its role and significance in OSCC.Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expressions of FHIT in 48 cases of OSCC and 26 normal oral mucosa. Results The positive expression rate of FHIT in normal oral mucosa was 76.92%(20/26).Among 48 OSCC patients, the positive rate of FHIT(43.75%) was lower than that in normal oral mucosa(P0.05),but FHIT protein content was significantly associated with differentiation(P
