Osteopontin (OPN) is a secreted O-glycosylated phosphoprotein that exists in a variety of tissues and body fluids, with a variety of biological activity. Integrin α_vβ_3 is the main receptor. OPN mainly involves in cell proliferation, differentiation, migration and adhesion. The study of OPN at home and abroad mainly focuses on the bone resorption, angiogenesis, atherosclerosis, digestive system, urinary system, wound healing, skin fibrosis, liver fibrosis, kidney fibrosis, etc.But reports about OPN in pulmonary fibrosis are much less, now the relationships between OPN and pulmonary fibrosis are reviewed.
3.The value of heart-type fatty acid binding protein in the early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction in elderly patients

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of heart-type fatty acid binding protein (H-FABP) versus cardiac trofonin I (cTnI) and creatinekinase-MB (CK-MB) in early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in elderly patients.Methods 67 patients with acute chest pain were selceted sequentially and divided into AMI group (n=30) and non-AMI group (n=37).Plasma H-FABP level was rapidly detected by using colloidal gold reagent plate and solid phase immunochromatographic assay for qualitative determination within and after 6 hours of AMI onset.Plasma levels of cTnI and CK-MB were determined within and after 6 hours of onset.The diagnositic value of H-FABP,cTnI and CK-MB in AMI was compared within and after 6 hours of onset.Results The sensitivity of H-FABP was better than that of cTnI and CK-MB within 6 hours of onset (93.3% vs.46.6%,23.3%,both P<0.05).The negative predictive value of H-FABP was better than that of cTnI and CK-MB within 6 hours of onset (94.7% vs.69.8%,61.1%,both P< 0.05) While,positive predictive value and specificity were basically the same between H-FABP,versus cTnI and CK-MB.H-FABP and cTnI levels had significant differences between AMI and non AMI group after 6 hours of onset (all P<0.05).Plasma levels of cTnl and CK-MB were higher after 6 hours than within6 hours [cTnI (4.10±1.79) mg/L vs.(1.45±1.31) mg/L,CK MB(180.52± 158.70) U/L vs.(20.02± 7.97) U/L,both P<0.05].Conclusions As compared with cTnI and CK-MB,within 6 hours after AMI onset,H-FABP as a new myocardial necrosis marker has higher sensitivity,specificity,positive and negative predictive values in the diagnosis of AMI.While,after 6 hours of AMI onset,H-FABP has the same diagnostic value as cTnI and CK-MB.

5.MR spectroscopic imaging studies of prostate cancer: comparison of body coil and endorectal coil

Objective To compare the diagnostic value of MRS acquired by body coil(BODY)and endorectal Coil(ERC)in the detection of prostate cancer.Methods MRI and 3D MRS were performed in 12 patients with prostate disease,in which 6 of them were proved to have prostate cancer and the other 6 noncancerous disease.Both BODY and ERC MRS were performed in 7 patients,and only BODY MRS was performed in the other 5 patients.All MRS data were quantitatively assessed with a per-sextant method.The metabolic ratio of(Choline+Creatine)/Citrate[(Cho+Cre)/Cit]was measured in each ROI.ROC analysis was carried out to assess and to compare the diagnostic value of BODY and ERC MRS in patients with prostate cancer with Wilcoxon test.Results (1)The ratios of(Cho+Cre)/Cit in the prostate cancer group(median 1.744,0.295 to 7.998)was statistically higher than that in the non-prostate cancer group (median 0.412,0.112 to 2.113)acquired by using BODY MRS(Z=-9.159,P<0.01).(2)The ratios of(Cho+Cre)/Cit in the prostate cancer group(median 1.975,0.479 to 7.998)was statistically higher than that in the lion-prostate cancer group(median 0.400,0.104 to 2.232)acquired by using ERC MRS(Z=-9.200,P<0.01).(3)The mean ratios of(Cho+Cre)/Cit in the prostate cancer group and in the non-prostate cancer group acquired by using both coils were not of statistically significant difference(P>0.05).(4)ROC analysis for diagnosing prostate cancer showed no significant difference(P=0.851)between the areas under the curve of BODY and that of ERC MRS(Az=0.93 1 and 0.935 respectively).Conclusion The BODY MRS could provide comparable diagnostic efficacy to ERC MRS in patients with prostate cancer.

Objective To investigate the effects of Compound Ganduqing Decoction(CGD) on activation and apoptosis of iron overloading hepatic stellate cells(HSC).Methods The cultured HSC-T6 cells were used for experimental cells,and were divided into normal control group,model group and CGD treatment group(in the dose of 0.08g/L).HSC model of iron overloading was induced by incubation with ammonium iron citrate.Immunohistochemical assay was used for the detection of alpha smooth muscle actin(?-SMA) expression.Quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR) was applied for the detection of transforming growth factor beta 1(TGF-?1) mRNA expression.TUNEL technique was used for the examination of apoptosis of HSC-T6.Electron microscope was used for the observation of ultrastructure of HSC-T6.Results In the normal control group and the model group,there showed large amount of ?-SMA expression in HSC-T6,but little apoptosis.However,in CGD group ?-SMA expression was decreased obviously,TGF-?1 mRNA expression was reduced,and apoptosis of HSC-T6 was obvious(P
7.Diffusion weighted imaging in the evaluation of therapeutic effect of endocrine for prostate cancer with bone metastases

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect of endocrine for prostate cancer with bone metastases with MR diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI). Methods Forty patients with bone metastases from prostate cancer were examined with DWI. Seventeen patients underwent endocrine therapy were recruited as the test group, the other 23 were regarded as the control group. There was no relapse of the metastases according to clinical diagnosis in the test group. DWI sequences were based on steady-state free precession with b value (800 s/mm~2). After identifying the metastasis according to the T1WI and T2WI, ROIs were marked at the metastases, normal muscle, normal bone and bladder on DWI, and the ADC values of the ROIs were calculated respectively. Non-parameter two independent samples test was applicated to compare the ADC values of the metastases between the two groups.Results ADC values of the bone metastases were (1.10±0.50)×10~(-3)mm~2/s in the test group and (1.12±0.30) ×10~-3mm~2/s in the control group (P>0.05).Conclusion MR DWI shows no help in evaluating the therapeutic effect of endocrine for prostate cancer with bone metastases.
8.Pathogens resulting in acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in patients in Ordos area

Objective To understand the distribution and antimicrobial resistance of pathogens isolated from patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)in Ordos area,so as to provide guidance for rational antimicrobial use.Methods Sputum culture and antimicrobial susceptibility testing results of 372 patients with AECOPD in Ordos area in 2013-2015 were analyzed,and the quality of life before acute exacerbation was assessed.Results A total of 296 strains of pathogens were isolated from 372 patients,252(85.14%)of which were gram-negative bacteria,the major were Pseudomonas aeruginosa(n=58,19.59%),Klebsiella pneumoniae(n=51,17.23%),Acinetobacter baumannii(n=50,16.89%),Stenotrophomonas maltophilia(n=22,7.43%),Escherichia coli(n=19,6.42%),and Enterobacter cloacae(n=16,5.41%);27(9.12%)were fungi,the major was Candida albicans(n=19,6.42%);17(5.74%)were gram-positive bacteria,the predominant species was Staphylococcus aureus.Patients with CAT(COPD assement test)score≥10 had higher proportion of isolating Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii than those with CAT score<10.Conclusion The main pathogens from patients with AECOPD are gram-negative strains,CAT score prior to exacerbation may be related to the emergence of pathogens at AECOPD.
9.Comparison of multi-slice spiral CT portography and endoscopy in the diagnosis of esophageal and gastric varices in liver cirrhosis

Objective To study the correlation of multi-slice CT portography (MSCTP) and digestive endoscopy in the diagnosis and evaluation of esophageal and gastric varices (EGV) caused by cirrhosis.Methods A total of 92 patients with cirrhosis were enrolled in the prospective study.All the patients were examined by endoscopy and 64-slice spiral CT scan in 4 weeks.The types,grading of EGV were observed by endoscopy and MSCTP,and Kappa conformance test was applied with the endoscopic findings as gold standard.The sensitivity,specificity,consistency,and Youden index were evaluated for the diagnosis of sophageal and gastric varices by MSCTP.Results Sixty-five patients were diagnosed to have EGV by endoscopy and 27 were negative.The positive patients included 45 patients of GOV1,19 of GOV2 and 1 patient of IGV1.MSCTP diagnosed 67 cases of EGV and 25 patients of negative results.The positive patients included 46 of GOV1,18 of GOV2 and 3 of IGV1.Two patients of IGV1 varicose veins without positive findings on endoscopy were diagnosed by using MDCTP,which revealed isolated varicose veins under the gastric mucosa.There was high consistency between MSCTP and EGV in the diagnosis of EGV (Kappa =0.732,P < 0.01).The sensitivity of MSCTP was 93.8%,specificity was 77.8%,consistency was 89.1%,and Youden index 71.6%.There was high consistency between MSCTP and EGV in the classification of EGV (Kappa values were 0.743 and 0.763,P < 0.01).Conclusions There is high consistency between MSCTP and digestive endoscopic in the diagnosis and classification of EGV in cirrhosis.MSCTP is superior to endoscopy in the detection of gastric varices.
