1.Preoperatively pulmonary function evaluation before liver transplantation in patients with end-stage liver disease
Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(3):279-281
Objective To assess the pulmonary function before liver transplantation in patients with end-stage liver disease. Methods One hundred and fifty-four patients with end-stage liver disease, who were waiting for liver transplantation in our hospital, were enrolled into the study. The pulmonary ventilation function, small airway function and diffusion capacity were measured and analyzed respectively. Results Among 154 subjects,140 (90. 9%, 140/154) patients had abnormal pulmonary function, shown as pulmonary diffusing capacity reduction;followed by restrictive ventilatory function reduction (42. 8% ,66/154) and small airway function reduction (37. 7%, 58/154 ), the least common manifestation was obstructive ventilatory function reduction (28.6 % ,44/154 ). Conclusion Abnormal pulmonary function in patients with end-stage liver disease is common, and the pulmonary function tests before liver transplantation has certain referential value for pulmonary function damage evaluation and postoperatively respiratory tract management.

Modern Clinical Nursing 2016;15(5):11-14
Objective To explore the effects of dialectical nursing on recurrent oral ulcers in children. Methods One hundred and eighty-eight cases of children with recurrent oral ulcer hospitalized from March 2013 to June 2015 were randomized into study group and control group using random digit table with 94 cases in each group. The control group was intervened with the modern medical care pattern and the study group was with dialectical nursing care of Chinese medicine besides the modern medical care pattern. The two groups were compared in terms of the curative effect, time for ulcer healing, pains and level of the children′s and parents′satisfaction. Results The curative effect in the study group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0.01). The time of the study group was shorter than that of the control one (P<0.001). The level of pains was lower but the degree of satisfaction was higher than that in the control group (all P<0.01). Conclusions The dialectical nursing care combined with modern medical care pattern is effective in treating recurrent oral ulcers in children. It can shorten the healing time and enhance the satisfaction. It can have high value of clinical application and promotion.

Objective To establish a method for determination of emodin content in Shengfa granule. Methods HPLC was used.Mobile phase consisted of methanol-0.25 %phosphoric acid (80 ∶20) with UV detection at 254 nm,the analytical column was YMC-Pack ODS-A.Results The linear range of emodin was 0.021 ?g~0.155 ?g(r=0.9999)while the average recovery rate was 99.03 %(RSD=1.40 %,n=6).Conclusion The methods is suitable for determination of emodin content in Shengfa granule.

Chinese Journal of Urology 2001;0(06):-
Objective To investigate the value of detecting BK virus(BKV)in urine of renal al- lograft recipients for the diagnosis and treatment of BKV infection. Methods Using polymerase chain re- action(PCR)method combined with DNA sequencing,61 urine samples from renal allograft recipients,30 u- fine samples from dialytic patients and 30 urine samples from healthy volunteers(controls)were detected. The results were compared among the 3 groups. Results The BKV positive rate in renal allograft recipi- ents was 36.1%,compared with 13.3% in dialytic patients(P<0.05)and 0.0% in controls(P<0.05). One renal allograft recipient who was positive for BKV developed ureteral obstruction. The BKV positive rate was 40.9%(9/22)in renal allograft recipients with rejection episode, compared with 33.3%(13/39)in the recipients without rejection episode(P>0.05);and the BKV positive rate was 36.0%(18/50)in the recip- ients with normal graft function, compared with 36.4%(4/11)in the recipients with abnormal graft function (P>0.05).Conclusions Renal allograft recipients are the high risk population who may develop BKV viruria. There is no correlation between recipients with or without rejection episode and BKV viruria, and also no correlation between recipients with normal or abnormal graft function and BKV viruria.Detection of BKV in the urine of renal allograft recipients is helpful in differential diagnosis of BKV induced ureteral obstruc- tion, and PCR method for detecting BKV DNA can be used to screen for BK virus-associated nephropathy (BKVAN).

Objective To investigate the regulation effect of interleukin-1? (IL-1?) on the expression of VEGF in A549 cells. Methods A549 cells were incubated with IL-1? in the presence or absence of Celecoxib. After incubation, cells were harvested to detect VEGF mRNA by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), and the supernatant was collected to determine the concentration of VEGF protein by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results After treatment with IL-1?, the expression of VEGF mRNA and protein in A549 cells were significantly higher than that in the control group(P

Objective To study the expressions of CD24 and SLeX in lung cancer tissues, and evaluate the relation ship with development and progression of lung cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressions of CD24 and SLeX in 70 specimens of lung cancer. Results The positive expression rates of CD24,SLeX in non-small cell lung cancer tissues were 41.3% and 63.5% respectively,There were no expression and weak expression respectively in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) tissues. The positive rates of CD24,SLeX in adenocarcinoma were 55.9% and 76.5%,respectively,which were higher than those in squamous cell carcinoma (24.1%,48.3%)(P0.05).In lung adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, the positive expression rate of SLeX in stage Ⅲ (83.3%) was higher than that in stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ (55.6%),the positive rate in poor differentiated lung cancer(80.8%) was higher than those in moderate and well differentiate cancer(51.4%),the positive rate in female patients (76.7%) was higher than that in male patients (51.5%)(all P

Journal of International Oncology 2014;41(3):223-225
Radiotherapy plays a crucial role in cervical cancer.Intensity modulated radiation therapy is widely used gradually, which allows the photon beam within each field to be modulated and therefore improves the dose distribution by maximizing target coverage and minimizing the damage to normal tissue.Concurrent radiochemotherapy plus brachytherapy are standard therapeutic methods for local advanced cervical cancer.
